I never thought, ever, as a little girl watching Star Wars with my dad, then going to conventions with my boyfriend (now husband) and thinking how I couldn’t wait to introduce Star Wars to my future kids - that I would be actually keeping them as far away from it as possible. Now, as a mom of two boys, I’m beyond disgusted at what’s been done to our beloved Star Wars, Star Trek, LoTR, Marvel, and Doctor Who. At this point, what do little boys have? Give them back their superheroes!!!

What's even more beautiful is when you stumble upon some "neutral" source that talks about something like The Acolyte (let's say, Wikipedia) that act like the audience score doesn't even exist and tell you that the show has "a positive reception" based on the critics score. You know who wrote that and how infiltrated these "encyclopedia" sites are.
Wikipedia was lost a long time ago, I wish someone would start a competitor site with actual facts instead of wikipedia's bias

Wikipedia has a huge problem - they only include secondary sources within their purview of acceptable sources. Which is stupid, and only allows mainstream opinions on things to be heard.
In countries like India (mine) and Turkey, where the (near) entirety of the media is sold out, Wikipedia is useless for anything other than scientific ideas and data.

They can only defend episode 3 by arguing the things it showed us, literally did not happen. That's how bad it was.
To be fair that entire scene screams cut context mainly because the show is as subtle as a brick with its direction and misdireaction. So it wouldnt suprise me if theres a later flashblack that portrays what really happend. Its still hilariously bad
@@Ericshadowblade For most of the scenes, they literally need to be entirely false memories implanted by the Jedi or something like that, to be salvageable.
And even then, it would mean that this entire episode was completely pointless because nothing in it really happened.
And of course, there are several scenes with just the two mother witches talking, with Osha not even present, which therefore could not have been her memories in the first place.
@@Ericshadowblade It's probably correct they just don't show the one mother likely killed the rest of the coven and she is the sith shown at the end of episode 1. That is why she's wearing a helmet to hide her identity till the finale.
Replying to why the hell Osha would look up to the Jedi when raised in an indoctrination cult that despises them someone replied that force powers would allow her to see into the future to a time when she would have left the coven and started to train with them. As someone who is 60 and grew up watching Disney, this is galling. To allow themselves to be taken over by ideology that pits them against their own family-friendly history is unbelievable. The BOD and shareholders should be storming the gates due to the financial impact alone.

The Sith with their Dark rituals around a cauldron , essence transfers, cursed artifacts, talking to spirits of the dead, being fueled by hate, posessions and so on are one big occult reference and no one has a problem with them as the main antagonists.
Every fantasy, including scifi fantasy, has occult references.

Everything is clear from the beginning, they have mocked us head-on and shamelessly. "The Acolyte" is not Amandia Stenberg's character, "The Acolyte" is Leslye Headland and she is killing Star Wars. She is not murdering Star Wars with weapons but with a propaganda script that alienates classic fans. The Acolyte "kills the dream" of Star Wars for the real fans and behind Smylo Ren's mask there is only one person: Kathleen Kennedy. I have to admit that the Machiavellian level of genius, control and detail of the plan for the destruction of Star Wars is astonishing. Kathleen Kennedy and Leslye Headland are the binary pair of "The Master and The Apprentice", they are pure Sith. I take my hat off, and they achieved their goal. Palpatine is a baby compared to you.
Obviously the Acolyte is the world's most expensive "lesbian persecution therapy" for Leslye Headland. Disney should just have flipped the bill for a good psychologist instead.

I'd never go to one of those conventions, but a hilarious troll I'd love to see is for someone to make a "Whites Only Lounge" sign and put it up near the "POC Only Lounge". Even better would be to put it on an otherwise locked door, so it seems like you need special access just to get in, but also preventing people from looking inside and realizing that it is a troll. Then just sit back and record the reactions.

My grandfather, an old school geek, introduced me to Star Wars. We watched everything together and he even smuggled me out of the house to watch the sequel trilogy during a schòol day.
