New York Strip Steaks - Pit Boss Lexington 500 Onyx

Welcome back to The Food Experience! I recently purchased the Pit Boss Lexington 500 Onyx edition. SO happy that I did! These steaks came out AMAZING!! Also using Shake That and 'Que That seasonings by ‪@TheFlatTopKing‬ . Highly recommend ordering these seasonings. They are top notch!

Make sure you leave the pitboss lid open until the initial smoke dissipates.

Yeah that's what I have learned since I have started using I always let the startup complete. That time was kind of an exception. Fortunately it wasn't a bad time like I have seen with other people who have done a cold start. Lol but not lol

Did the smoker come with good instructions on how to cook food in it?

I don't think it had any cooking instructions per se. It might have I just read the basics to operate the device. Other than that I scoured UA-cam to see how other people cooked similar items. Also my good Buddy Denny has a couple of these devices and gave me some coaching.
