Too bad this mod wasn't made an official game. This is fantastic as hell.
I don't know who is behind this Half-Life mod, but this is awesome! To all of you complaining about the doors and elevators, keep in mind that the whole thing was made basically from the original game and its two expansions Opossing Force & Blue Shift ... I clearly recognized elements from both games. Besides, it gives Black Mesa facility that high security feeling, they've truly nailed it in my opinion.
The game is good and full of detail but :
1. Some area is less ammo and medkit while the area is loot of enemy / teleport alien
2. bug on level "From Ash to Ash " ( near the giant stone when zombie army teleport again and again ) if you die there the door can't open again even you load start from the last you save
I liked the level of detail and design but as whole the game feels like salad - mix of Half-Life, Opposing Force and Blue Shift ideas in all combinations, lot of things feel out of space. The mod lacks logical structure IMO.
The stereo sound in this is really fucking me up. I keep thinking that my earphones stop working.

Well the environments certainly look pretty for a Half-Life 1 mod, shame about all the doors.
Someone put a lot of effort into this mod, but their architectural design principals were very claustrophobic and segmented with too many doors and lifts. OG HL was a very open interior environment for the most part. Black Mesa is a grandiose and large research facility in the desert. The opening tram scene itself was testament to this design choice.
Too many SIGNS. Its ok to break up the empty space with a sign, but when its 9/10 times a sign - its bad design. Also calm down with doors and elevators, some areas just feel like a Door Store that sells only 3 types of door..

Quad, please help. My Blue Shift is messed up because of this mod (even though it is a HL1 mod.) I am using steam version.
I have a gaming pc that can run CSGO and CoD: AW at over 200 frames per second(CSGO) and max for AW. But I cannot get over 60 on half life, because it seems like there is a cap. On my old laptop, which cannot even run CSGO, I can get 120+ fps on Half Life. Did I install something incorrectly on my gaming pc, or is it something else? Pls help
ThuQ Ninja not sure if you've figured it out yet, but disable VSync (otherwise known as "wait for vertical refresh") in your GPU/game settings.

Basically me during highschool. Only talked to the few close friends I had, other than that I just avoided everyone like I was speed running school. I was always the first one in or out the class room. However, college is much better since everyone naturally minds their own business.

So for segmented runs, do you guys just both do a full run and cut in and out the parts where one person is faster?
They choose a runner and they practice for days on the same part and that part makes it into the run
