This seems like a great way to set up automatic workflows if you work in sales and are managing a lot of clients. I'm going to use the automatic due date feature for follow ups for sure! Thanks for the tutorial!
Thanks for this awesome video. One thing you might want to add is that the schedule feature is only available if you upgrade to at least a Trello Gold account.
@@Simpletivity Hello, I would like to get your opinion on using Trello for managing the daily tasks of an electrician and coordinating a team of 10 people. Thank you in advance for your feedback and advice.
This video was really useful for a novice like me. Do you have any tips on whether it is best to make each team member for the same project a separate board? Since each of their task lists are quite involved? And if so can I as the project manager have a way of overseeing all the 'boards' aka team members at a glance? Please advise or point me in the direction of a similar set up/template/video blog. Thanks again :)
when an item is added to checklist "Task Lists" by anyone, convert the item to a linked card, set custom field "Project Name" to "{triggercardname}", and move the card to the top of list "Todo Lists"
Hi Simpletivity! Thank you so much for your Trello videos. They have been really useful. However, I can't find the Butler power-up. I don't know if it is because I have the latest version. Do you know a similar Power-up app?
Awesome video again, thanks ! Is there a way to synchronize cards between personal a team boards ? Like when when task is moved to "completed" on personal, it will be the same on team.
Thanks for this video. Do you know of a rule that automatically assigns a certain time of day to any card with an assigned due date? I would like to automatically assign "11:55 PM" to any card with a due date.
I have applied butler automation to our board with rules, board buttons and card buttons. Right about the time we implemented it, Trello mobile doesn't automatically sync anymore and would have to click the sync button manually. Setting for auto sync is also turned on. Is that normal to have to do it manually or is there some settings that needs to be changed in trello mobile?
how do you create this rule trigger "when a card without custom fields "**Deliverable" - i can't see this from the custom triggers that are presented to me
Butler rules are now free for all Trello users. But you can find details about usage and quotas here: help.trello.com/article/1181-butler-features-and-quotas
No, Butler is designed to automate processes within Trello. However, you could use it in connection with something like Zapier to create an invoice in another program.

Butler is no longer a power-up but is built right into Trello. It is now just referred to as Automation. I hope that helps!
Can you move empty lists to the right automatically?
Awesome video again, thanks !
Is there a way to synchronize cards between personal a team boards ? Like when when task is moved to "completed" on personal, it will be the same on team.
As long as you are using the same Trello account for both boards, then yes this should work.
Can we add a trigger to create a “list” with a particular header say for example “w/c 8 July”?
Yes, you can.

Wow
Butler Bot is no longer officially supported
It was integrated into trello automations ;)

Hello everyone. How do I make a card move to another list after a specified time ??
how do you create this rule trigger "when a card without custom fields "**Deliverable" - i can't see this from the custom triggers that are presented to me
are rules for free or are we limited to one free rule ?

Hay
Can I get more the one bullet rool ?
you can have as many rules as you think up!
How do I add items on the check list?
Just enter a new item below the last item on the checklist. You can then drag it to a different position if desired.
Can I do invoices on butler
No, Butler is designed to automate processes within Trello. However, you could use it in connection with something like Zapier to create an invoice in another program.

I used up my run times by testing my template 🙃 It is stupid.
Why do so many channels use these computer generated voices??
I'm not sure if I should take that as a back-handed compliment or not. But thanks for watching, Ian.
Very helpful. Thank you!
