Was going to follow IKEA’s online manual, decided to UA-cam it just in case. Well worth it, thanks for saving me the headaches and pains. Really easy to understand and helped me build it in no time!
Thank you 😊 I was able to put the entire full size bed together by myself with your help. I didn’t have the instruction manual and your video was the help I needed. Thank you!
I got one of these frames second hand and it was sloping up towards the middle, this made me realize the middle beam was set to a higher level, thank you so much!
@@bro.b.i.b.4248 I also only have two of these braces and they also don’t fit. I got the queen size version of the bed. One of the ends of these braces is just bent, there’s not even a hole. It’s pretty freaking ridiculous
Oh my goodness I wish I'd watched this before I started. I had to take out and re-screw one of those little screws 10 times before it went in straight. I'm never buying another Ikea bed frame. I'm now ready to put on the side rails, and I won't do anything more before finishing this video!
Thank you. I have the same bed and have just assembled it. However, there is a squirky noice where explain at 10:20 These 4 thin metal make noise when I jump on top of the mattress. Do you have any idea to stop this annoying metal vibration sound? Thank you.
Thanks for this! Quick easy instructions way easier than trying to read the dam pictures that come with the box!! Saved us from having to hire a overpriced handy man!
hello! I’m trying to find what the exact screw and plastic cap you used at 11:12- 11:21. I tried finding it on the ikea website to get a replacement but the item’s not showing up! What is that called? I’m trying to find it at my local hardware store but don’t know what the exact item is. If you could help me out that would be great!
The part where you slide the ladder bit along the top - mine will not slide!!! It looks so easy in your video 😭 but it gets stuck half way, I'm close to giving up
Thank you for the video! Someone else assembled this bed for me a few years ago, since then the screws at 11:17 have fallen out resulting in the bed being very squeaky. Is it possible to fix this without reassembling the whole bed? I can’t even work out how I would reach that part of the bed while fully assembled lol
Also the plastic caps are still in place but don’t line up with the holes in the metal for some reason? So am so confused on how to put the screws back in. Sorry for the long comment I would really be grateful for a reply if you get the time 😅
It's hard for me to picture what the exact problem is but if you're referencing that the screws fell out at 11:17, you would have to take the slatted bed base off and then screw the screws back in. You don't have to reassemble the whole bed. Try to work backwards with this video.
This video is the best I've come through since I started assembling my bed. Unfortunately, I discovered it in the middle of the process (had I done it sooner, it could have spared me the headache of following the manual/another UA-cam video that was running 90% on fastforward). Now, what I don't understand is this: my mattress is the same thickness as yours, so I expected you to be using the upper holes. Did you go for the lower ones for demo's sake or did I miss something?

You have been a true saviour......I was able to confidently fit my bed together today all because of you. Thank you soooo much!!!!!
There were no instructions in the pack so I went to UA-cam and found your video.
Very clear instructions, great job, thank you very much
Super helpful and much clearer than the included instructions. Thank you!

Thank you! Really helped clarify a few confusing instructions from the manual
Thank you so much! You saved me hours of stress. You made it so easy.
Siete fantastici!!! Solo voi spiegate esattamente tutto nei minimi particolari!!! Complimenti
I followed your instructions for the king size version…..great video…..thank you…..🙏🙏🙏🙏
Did anybody else have issues with the 4 metal braces when attaching to the frame, the screws don’t seem to hold them in place at all???
Came here to this video for this reason!! Mine is loose! Any issue with it now?
@@drivenbyniki nope no issues just the rare rattle from under the bed
I only have two of those braces, and they don’t fit.

We followed the steps as is and were able to construct the bed. Best video with a great explanation. Kudos.

At 3:48 both the Ikea instructions and your video say to secure these metals rods by hand, as opposed to using a screw driver. Why is that?

Can headboard go on both ways, I've damaged mine would like to turn it around
Mine didn’t come with the metal bar in the middle or the wooden pieces!!
Any ideas on what to do if the slatted base keeps falling when...moving too much on the bed ?
Шикарное видео👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏👏👏 будем собирать сами

What size wrench did you use
Does Ikea provide spare screws and dowels kits? I was given this bed unassembled without those parts...
Could you please tell me the wrench size? Trying to walk my daughter through this using FaceTime. Thanks.
