Motorola has been turning into the new OnePlus we needed back here in India after OnePlus themselves went premium. Clean, fast UI, affordable and competitive pricing, Innovative technology, relatively poor cameras (even matched OnePlus in that regard 😁) and just being the underrated underdog with almost a cult following. Love these new generation phones.
By the way, now that we know how Android 12 works on a foldable, we know how a Pixel fold will approximately be 🤫

That crease, or lack thereof, is amazing and frankly stunning to me. This is coming from a Zflip3 user. Also, I love the shape and size of the Motorola compared to the Z Flip. It looks much more natural to me.
I miss the days when you could walk in a store and you had several phones to pick from, all from different companies.
The Razr hinge mechanism is responsible for the clicking sound, it creates a little loop when closing the phone that reduces the crease in the middle and also helps the phone to completly close unlike the Z-flip
Plus the clicking sound is satisfying to listen to.

I’m really impressed with what Motorola has been doing here. I can even go as far as to say that they’re doing a better job than Samsung and their flip phones. ❤🙏🏻👍🏻 i’ve been an iPhone user my whole life pretty much, and this is so enticing to me.
I never understand flip, folding phones. All they did was sacrifice technology in the name of a gimmick. 30watt charging in 2022 LoL, my 8T with 65watt released in 2020.

@@BO2R3aperGamIng the battery life is also very bad, the price is expensive, they put 144hz on this screen, drain battery faster. Haven't talked about other features, speaker, mic, card slot. You can bet this phone isn't gonna last as long as regular phones. Defend this phone after you have to charge it 3x a day. Let's see how big a shill u are.

This is what I want from the flip.. huge screen on the front. It's d only reason why I've been holding back. But after a year and this new razr is still intact, I'm definitely purchasing this

i think the display on the galaxy z flip is fine
a bigger screen doesn't make it better, a good software experience does, and the zflip looks like it's far ahead from motorola so far...
@@MatheusFerreira-mu6lu for me, the moto's front screen is perfect for a flip phone, not too small like the Samsung's and not full screen to still have space for the camera. It's just my preference
WOW 😲 unbelievable little crease on a flip, it smoothness is visible while watching it on my phone. The wideness of the phone appears to be idealistic and totally functional. Motorola RAZR have totally delivered on making a premium quality phone. The opening of the phone appears to be smooth and idealistic. I can definitely see myself spending money to buy this Motorola flip phone.
it’s still not enough to get me to buy it, i want NO bend or crease… and want it to fold.
until they achieve that, the slight bend or fold makes it look cheap.. and i refuse to pay the price of an iphone for that
I havnt seen Motorla around for about 14 years now, they were the go back in the day between people i knew and its cool to see they're still around keeping up after i thought they would die off
I've used nothing but Motorola phones since 2013. They're affordable and reliable. I used the original X from 2013-2017, the g plus 2017-2020, then got the g stylus in 2020 and it's still running great. All solid phones.
Motorola once a leader, who lost their way. Nice job on this model. Looks like a nice functional display on the cover, and a really high end main camera looking at those photos. Good review!
Watching this video using my Samsung Z Flip 3! This RAZR is good too! Amazing crease, it's almost invisible and the phone looks so sturdy. But I love my Z Flip 3 too, it's no doubt that flip phones are sooo back! Love it!!! Keep it coming! ❤️

Even tho I'm an iPhone user, I'm a 90's kid so i can remember how mobile phones came into our lives. It was more than a gadget, but also a part of your personality. There were so many phones and design's that people were unique.. now its choice A or B (maybe C..). So glad that these kind of designs are flipping it
You're so right! I use to love going to the T- mobile store n having so many options of different phones to choose from. Now u have either apple or Samsung, it's like its a monopoly now. I definitely use to pic a phones that matched my personality.

So true, I know it’s a lot of $ but having both is nice since the Fold is sometimes too bulky depending on what you’re going to be doing on a given day

The legendary Motorola is back. I remember using motorola v3i and this took me by surprise
Got this phone for a week now and it is such a good and fun phone. I really enjoy using it. I don't regret buying it at all.
I love the folding designs of phones. I have the z fold 4 and i Love it. The bigger display is amazing to use for OSRS and for everday apps.
So do I but mine screen broke internally. That little bulge in the middle appears to be either glass or a plastic tube and it broke so my screen doesn't work. Luckily Samsung has a 1 yr warranty for the Fold and Flip because it's considered an experimental device. I should receive my replacement today or tomorrow.

Wow, super positive overview! I'm finally leaving the Nexus/Pixel devices after Nexus S, Nexus 4, Nexus 6P and a Pixel 2. Was tracking the Razr 2022 for a while and finally bit the bullet on an order. On the UK store they have 20% off care plans, and 10% off the device if you sign up for the newsletter.
I'm really excited to no longer have a rectangular slab taking up my pockets. My main concern is leaving behind Pixel's camera app and software. Even on my current Pixel 2 I'm still impressed by the photos.
I guess let's see if the people out there make a hack-version of the Pixel Camera app for this phone.
I do agree with Mr. Mobile's review in that this is in no way a "Razr" - they should have called it something else.
And yeah, while I can't wait to use the cover screen for stuff, and that is the main feature that made me go for this over Samsung's Flip, it does look a _bit_ weird with the bezel frame.
I just hope in the future we can get a "flippable phone" _WITH_ a telephoto lens. That's one feature I'm sad to miss out on vs the Pixel 7 Pro, for example.

Great video. I have both the Razr5G and the Flip3. I love the open and close function on the Razr but use the Flip3 as my daily driver because it's a more robust device in general. NOW we have a new 2022 Razr that looks amazing. I'm going to follow this device and see if I want to get one as my daily driver.
What do you do… swap the sim back and forth from the Razr to the Flip?

I love the gestures you gave to switch ON and OFF the light and the gesture to have the camera and screen ready to take photos or to record. I just tried these on my 13 pro max unit and it doesn't work 🤣
by the way, is there any "always on" function for the small screen ?
I remember the original Razr back then. I was a first-year student and I loved it and really wanted to buy it, but it was so expensive around 500 euros. So I never got it. Had siemens c45 then Sony Ericsson t610 :)

Motorola is now owned by Lenovo. Lenovo is a really well run company as far as i know. their laptops are really good for the price and their software isn't shit. Hope they release a Z fold type phone too. More competition means lesser price. This is good

one thing i would love to have in this type of mobile is a custom droid eye on that display as a screensaver. It can be modified to tell weather, time and few questions responding via voice just like that vector robot

Love it, my favorite phone back in the day was the Razer! I will want to try this Phone for sure! I have missed the Clam shell flip phones. I do wish apple would Come up with a flip phone Soon. I have a feeling it will be amazing!

All the hand motions even work on the lower priced phones as well. Motorola is pretty underrated honestly
I've owned the Motorola RAZR 2019 since February of 2020...no complaints what so ever.. no regrets on the 1500. I spent.. it's been money well spent

Can you use the music app on the front screen? I use it A LOT (not spotify, actual saved music to the phone), also, does it hold a separate memory card?

how many times can you flip it before the screen or folding mechanism breaks?
Would be interesting to see how many times you can close the phone before the screen and hinge starts to wear. I also wonder how comfortable the phone is when it's folded in your pocket.
