I’ve been wanting to join the border patrol for many years. I’ve been a heavy guy all my life, got hired on with a local agency and gained a absurd amount of weight due to stress. Made a huge changes in my lifestyle and have lost 70lbs since august of last year. Hoping to get into USBP after some more weight loss
I was disqualified from border patrol do to my vision in my left eye but for the customs side I was cleared for medical, both agencies have different eye requirements.
I have epilepsy, I had brain surgery recently to reduce total seizures which were about 1 every 3 weeks before the surgery and has greatly reduced afterwards and goes down more and more overtime. I still have a driver's license and can legally drive, but my Dr says I shouldn't because it's unsafe. If I go 6 months seizure free it's then considered safe for me to drive again. I'm interested in trying to become a Federal Air Marshal eventually, so am I basically fucked or do you think I have a chance? I already know I'd be automatically disqualified for the military but I just would still like to serve my country as my grandfather was in the US army and my father was also in the US army and fought in Iraq. I am willing to wait until I basically am considered epilepsy free and go years without having a seizure before applying also if that changes anything.
Yesterday I saw an agent assigned to SRT walking to his vehicle and he had sleeve tattoos, So long as it isnt offensive gang related or visible when you were a long sleeved shirt, you should be good. No facial neck of hand markings.
I mean I mean I think it's in the way you said it too if you said I was a security guard that we all tackled a man they don't consider that a fight so you shouldn't have said that was a fight because it was not a fight you guys were doing your job. Also I'm sure there are many police that have paid for a lap dance so if you are the type that thinks paying for a lap dance is paying for a sexual favor then they don't want you do you understand what I'm saying I don't know, even though you were being fully honest on your part it's the way you think you have to know who you are know how to think, and speak because if not you could be a liability and a lawyer would tear you up you know?
I’m 21 years old and I wear hearing aids and I took the test I didn’t pass but I was going re take but my hearing is bad but should I just ask the agencies

I think the USCP has the stiffest vision requirements of all agencies. i was 20/100 and they required me to get lasik

Is the drug test conducted during the medical exam urine or hair?
How about color vision deficiency?
Is special agents medical exam similar to military medical checkup?
Do they test for color blindness
Can anaphylactic food allergies disqualify you from federal service?
Good day sir.
Good day.
Sir, can you join Federal Law enforcement if you have high blood pressure but can control it with medication?
Yes, so long as it is controllable with medication and you can pass PT, there shouldn't be any problem.

Try corrections!
Will I be disqualified for having gout even if it is controlled with medication?
Did you ever figure this out? I'm wondering the same
What about TRT
Did you ever meet anyone in the fbi that had asthma?

@@federallawenforcementcaree9900 Thank you!
I disapprove of almost all forms of law enforcement and how they’ve been going about their jobs. I just wanna try and show em how it’s done.
What about a wooden leg?
