THANK YOU SOOO MUCH DAN, MAY GOD FOREVER BLESS YOU 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. I have a CRC interview tomorrow, I will apply your teachings and knowledge in hopes of landing the Position. When I do, I PROMISE I will definitely pay you a good amount for this Crash Course!!!
Hi Dan thank you so much for this insightful and detailed video!!! I'm completely new to the Clinical Research field, and I'm really excited to get into the industry. I've been working in the Pathology industry as a Medical Laboratory Scientist since 2015/2016 and specialised in Cytology (Cellular Pathology) which includes Molecular Pathology. As you may know the lab can be quite routine and monotonous and runs on a very strict TAT to get results out; but I've been learning alot, including QA and lab management. The Pathology industry is also a place where you have to wait 20 years for your manager to retire before you can move up.... unless your environment allows for development for you to create your own niche.... So I've been watching your videos and doing online GCP courses, preparing for a CRC interview. Most CRC posts that I've seen here in South Africa requires one to have a nursing degree. I've also applied for an in-house CRA post. Questions: As a CRC or CRA how much does one need to know about interpreting basic lab results and also on drug pharmacodynamics? Do you offer any crash courses or can you recommend videos on interpreting basic lab results or drug pharmacodynamics?
This video is tremendously helpful, and I really appreciate how careful you are to be clear and repeat yourself! One question - is there any possibility of having captions added at some point in the future?
Hi , I really need this , video start at night 11 pm till morning 7.30 am with some repeat part but really gain knowledge of CR. Thanku so much from INDIA .

@@abee14081 well, I am soon to be a graduate with a biology degree which they liked. I have worked in the ER as a lead medical scribe which they thought was cool. The director didn’t know what an ER scribe does, so I explained to her and she thought it was very cool. She said it is good to know that I can communicate with physicians in medical terminology and know how to act professionally. I have also worked as an assistant in a lab which I believe is different from the clinical setting but they liked that. I don’t have any experience in the clinical setting, which is why I am hoping Dan would reply to my comment and help me. I am going in blind but here videos have been helpful so far. I honestly think during the interview I was very personable, I mean we talked about online video gaming. Apparently her nephew is huge on video gaming and is always meeting and conversing with people from all over the world. That was a huge part of the interview really. I don’t think having a clinical research experience is a must, but be very personable if you get an interview. Your resume has told them a lot about you, tell them what they don’t know. Always apply for as many positions as you can. Keep applying and you will definitely get one. 🙏🏾

@@jennytai4294 hey there! I am currently working as pharmacy technician and doing certification course in data analyst. I got an offer for CRC role. I was thinking of going for it and hopefully I can switch later into research analyst. Do you have any advice on that?
Hello,
I am studying for the CCRC exam and have been a clinical research coordinator for almost 3 years. A lot of the information on Phases is new to me as I work on the tissue collection side of Biobanking. Thank you for this information
Welcome to Guru Nation
Dan Dan Dan this video should have a million likes! I watched the whole video and I feel so empowered and equipped with knowledge. Let me tell you, if a YT video is longer than 10 min my attention span wanders but I sat, took notes, UNDERSTOOD your content. I just want to thank you so much for this for I truly have a general view on Clinical research and i can agree that being a generalist is the way to go. I am newbie trying to enter the field and everyone i have spoken to with experience always always raves about your videos and you did not fail. I have followed you on Linkedin and going to purchase the book AND audible. I just want to thank you for this truly. God Bless
Thanks so much I appreciate it. ❤️
This has been incredibly helpful, all your videos are!
I appreciate it
With a Pharm D can you also pass all these steps just like an RN?
Have you seen Pharm D enter the CRA world?
we are trained for vital signs and contrary indicated medications as well as adverse events/ side effects too.
Thanks a lot DAN . Really appreciate the efforts in imparting knowledge. It was amazingly informative.
Thanks a lot
What about, specifically “Clinical trials design and mgmt admin”? There is a certification for this title, but I am not finding job postings for examples. There are many abbreviations for varied postings. Does this fall under CTM?
Thanks, Dan for such a great presentation. It explained everything about clinical research in detail. I really appreciate it.
I appreciate you watching and commenting thank you. Please subscribe and like!
Good luck!!!
how did it go?
Questions:
As a CRC or CRA how much does one need to know about interpreting basic lab results and also on drug pharmacodynamics?
Do you offer any crash courses or can you recommend videos on interpreting basic lab results or drug pharmacodynamics?
I am planning a new book on this
You and I have the same story!
This is incredibly valuable, I feel like owe you money. Thank you for sharing this for free!
Where can I reach you?
In the description, thanks!
Great video looking up for further videos

This video is tremendously helpful, and I really appreciate how careful you are to be clear and repeat yourself! One question - is there any possibility of having captions added at some point in the future?

Hello Dan, I have just been offered a CRA position at one of the premier Cancer Hospitals in the country. To be honest, I am not sure what to know before I start in May. I don’t know if they will train me or if they expect me to know some stuff, I just want to be ready. I am watching this video to try to understand my role as a CRA and how to help the PI
Congratulations
Can i know how you got hired?what os your background?
Because i also don't have experience in clinical research but I'm trying to get into the field
Thank a lot for your reply
All the best to you too
Congrats! Sounds like they will train you but start with this video also maybe the book
@@dansfera Thank you
