My first venture into the solent this year resulted in my first spotted rays for a few years! A busy session with fish most casts in cracking conditions! Spring has well and truly sprung!
Fantastic to see someone that actually knows what they are doing on Eastney…..you’ve just completely and utterly shown up the many many UA-camrs that are local to Eastney and fish it regularly and catch not a lot….😂😂😂😂😂 Brilliant
I'm sure like a lot of venues it has its good days and bad days, I got lucky on the day. Enjoyable session though, it's a great venue. I'll give it another bash once the summer species show.

Hello tom we fished Milford on sea by the white House and my dad lost a decent eel he had a dog and that's it the waves were braking 100 yards out the waves would not stop but nice video 👍

Hello mate. Glad you enjoyed the video. I'm 100% a mono man. Braid has far too many disadvantages over mono for beach fishing. I do use braid for lure fishing and boat, but stick to mono for beach casting.

We're spoilt around here. Small eyed, undulate, blonde, spotty, thornies, sting... you should book a weekend away!

Hi Connor mate. Sounds like a tough session. Big ground swells are always hard to fish through. Hopefully better luck on your next session.
