Brios, I want to thank you for keeping more colorful language out of your videos. My 11 year old son loves watching MWO posts with me but most of the other ones have to be muted hahaha. Just a quick thanks for the great vids.
Hahaha.... Thanks for the feedback and I'm glad you and your watch (and hopefully enjoy) these vids. I don't cuss in real life and in game partly due to religion and personally because I think it's a bad habit to cultivate. There's too much cussing in video games sadly. Can't control what other people say but I actually do try not to use clips with cussing inside. Since your son watches, I'll be more mindful if there is and maybe bleep it over or something. Anyway, cheers and have a good weekend! :) - BrioS
I’ve ran this quite a bit, and it feels great. The biggest downside is it drills the opponent out; nothing to farm. Feels like a budget OG night gyr before the HSL linking of GR to ppc
So true man... If you get a good hit, things just die. For the old timers, it does feel like the time when cERPPC and cGauss were not linked. Man... Those were scary times. - BrioS
Hahaha "helicoptaa" :D Personally I prefer to have it with MRMs and heavy pulse lasers for more damage but less range. Earlier I was using AC10 and 2HPPC but it felt too little damage for this tonnage.
2HPPC AC10 was actually imho the best build on it pre March patch. Builds like that and this don't farm damage well but the poptart combined with the large pinpoint at up to mid range just deleted mechs. - BrioS
@ClanBRxV indeed I just like having more speed and dps. I do respect the gauss hppc combo too! The highlanders ability to tank atleast 1k damage is over looked too.
Im running 3 snub ppcs. 2 SMR6s 3 jump jets and a rotary AC (could swap for something else if i have too) for suppression as i close in on targets and additional pressure. Havnt tested it out yet but i hope it works ok.
Hey, im getting back into the game after 5 years or so, and looking at getting my first hero for the event reward. I wanted a heavy or assault mech because i only have light and mediums, any one in particular that is a must have? I enjoy dakka builds but im often playing with a 200+ ping 😫
Oh, nowadays so many chill variants run dakka really well: SunSpider-D, Nightstar-10P, Dire Wolf, etc But based on the Lucky Charms redeems, I would recommend a Moonwalker. Ran mine with something like 3AC10 2UAC5 and it was pretty brutal. - BrioS
If I were trying this on a C-bill mech, I'd probably say the 732B (733 is a close second). It won't have the "No screen shake", but has awesome heat/velocity/range/cooldown quirks. You'd just need to let off the JJs before you fire, but everything is closely packed on the right side.
I actually would recommend the -732. Weapons for this build would be all on the right side, helping with convergence. Also gets -15% heat and the SB will have a net -25% cooldown (-15% is global cooldown). Doesn't get the +25% velocity of the -732B tho. Either way, the cbill variants do this build as well or better but with JJ shake. - BrioS

@@ClanBRxV dude, my kdr during those days were through the roof. I would say that I miss it, but it really was a nasty mech, too nasty.

Been using this mech even before the patch 3 lppcs and a uac 10 is savage
You should try it with HPPCs. The pinpoint is so nice and the patch made them jump so much better with that +200% initial thrust boost. - BrioS

Which CBILL variant can replicate this build decently?
