#MWO (#MechwarriorOnline) by Piranha Games. Free to play at mwomercs.com. MechWarrior Online is a free-to-play vehicular combat video game, officially launched during September 2013 by Piranha Games for Microsoft Windows. The game takes place within the larger #BattleTech universe. In MechWarrior: Online, players takes the role of a ""MechWarrior"" who pilots large bipedal combat vehicles known as BattleMechs (Mech for short). Players can customize their BattleMech with an array of weapons and equipment, and engage in 12 versus 12 battles, the outcome of which earns the players experience and c-bills for future BattleMech purchases and customization. There are currently seven game modes that involve protecting and attacking a single base (Assault), capturing and holding several points (Conquest), take and hold the center of the map (Domination), attacking a space defense system (Siege/Counter-Attack), protecting and attacking field bases with turrets and walls spread across the map (Incursion), and team death-match (Skirmish). - Ігри
Executioner: AMiL
For the executioner, there are some quirked arms. C right arm that give a -30% jam chance on UACs and B left arm, -20% Jam chance on left. Plus ammo quirks
Good catch @@case-1846
TTB, the new flight times and elevations are allowing AMS to be extremely more effective. I just played a round with multiple LRM boats and a lance with 1 AMS per mech ate up at least 50% of everything we threw at them. This will change the LRM meta.
The lurms changes is a huge buff to ATMs because you get the lower radar depravation without the speed nerf so ATMs are better.
aww yea, atm jenner time
Agreed on Streak dumb fire option. Lock on time is too long for them to not have it, especially since with how they spread their damage all over rather than group in lock on mode means Streaks are such a niche weapon limited to use against fast light mechs.
Looks like lights will now be harder to damage, especially at med/long range.
I wish they had done something for the Gorewing other than give it glowing eyes.
Is there calculation shown on how much faster does the lowered angle make those LRM's hit their targets? Asking because, yes, the velocity is getting nerfed, but it doesn't tell the whole story if the flight trajectory is more direct.
Streaks need a 90% positive lock to fire, that's the whole point of the weapon system. If they changed it to be more like MW4 Mercenaries where a red reticle lock on allowing the missile to launch then fine, but to change them to work outside their intended role is stupid.
MRM 40 and 10 meds is fun.
Great review!
I’m so stoked for the Li Dok To, love that thing
The ERSL osiris is really fun with an MRM20 in there
According to navid regarding the lrrm question its a buff now to lrk BC they Hit now earlier...
Still waiting for the Punchline in that Joke.
Personally getting ams Back to earn you actually Matchscore would have solved the lrm Spam rather naturally but hey what do i know.
The velocity is less, the height is lower, they'll arrive mostly as fast you expect - the lower trajectory will be a net gain with the reduced height. AMS is a straight buff however - overall slower flying missiles spend more time in the AMS bubble, meaning fewer will get through in all cases.
@@d112cons You realize this isn't something hard at all to check, right? Going by the 900m range shown, peaking at ~540, the difference is minuscule--roughly 960m reduced to 930m. 30m shorter in the best-case scenario. A 5.05-second flight has been "reduced" to 5.81, and is more likely to hit terrain, *and* is going to spend more time in AMS bubbles before they could land.
You know a lot more than other people with weird ideas and agendas
2 back armor?!
My balls are no where near that made of steel....yet 🤣
I'm an Executioner/Gargoyle stan and it's really disappointing to get a Legendary version that's the complete opposite of what the play style of the mech is.
Yep, my thoughts pretty much. If you want a slow Executioner.. get a Dire Wolf?
Lore wise it's based on the first version of the executioner which is kinda cool in a way. But is sacrficing nearly 20 kph worth more weapon pod space? Ehhhhh idk.
What if we took the end of two Crusaders' arms and put them on one arm of the same mech? Well, now we have our answer. lol
Osiris buff hype
aaahhh new legendarys, but still a week till end of month new money
The missile issue has been known for at least two months. Not that it matters.
ahhh new legenderys...but still a week till end of month and new money......
The descent into arbitraryland accelerates.
I'm absolutely no fan of this kind of 'balancing'. It's basically the generous application of bandaids to make stuff work. Usually backfires horribly and makes the whole system collaps at some point.
Now we're at +4 HSL and 30% quirks? (yeah I know some lights f.e. are even crazier)
What's next?
The only saving grace is that the game is on life support and this is about as much as we can expect now, if at all.
This would be ok if it weren't for the fact that development and tweaking of the game mechanics have always been this bad. So yeah... nice mechs, I guess?
LURM nerf after LURM nerf. They've been virtually unusable for over a year. There's no explanation because there's no good reason for it.
