This is the summary of PPP since its inception. Starting from Nationalizaton and Quota system in 70's up till now. If you are not living in Karachi. You can imagine why the status of Karachi is deteriorated. Shukria PPP corrupt at its core.
Then there is Nawaz Sharif who preffered thier whole Steel mill instead of this one.
There is only one steel mill in Pakistan, which is Pakistan Steel Mills; the rest are actually scrap mills because they produce steel from scrap rather than iron ore.

This video has alot of factual inaccuracues. I was a general manager during the ealry years of the steel mills when the steel mills was ebing constructed. The stell mill never made a profi and the debts of the steel mills were never paid off.. He is correct when he says that the PPP was largely responsible for the destruction of the steel mills. MQM is also responsible. Howveer the basic problem is that institutions like steel mills should not be in the government sector. It should be privatized as soon as possible irrespectiev of the price ofered since the government does not have the capacity or the capability to run the institions like th steel mills. He is correctthat there was rampant corruption in teh steel mills. Military oficers appointed to the steel mills had no skills to run these instituions. you should get more informed people to talk about his. important issue.Iftikhar chowdhury has commited a big mistake by not allowing the privatization of steel mills like many other decisions that eh tokk that caused big losses to Pakistan.
