  • I test rode three new neo retro style motorcycles that are currently sold in Europe and cost less than 5000€. These are my opinions on the three motorcycles and I also say which one I prefer.

    I bought a hunter 350 white and I don't regret it, it has a gorgeous modern classic style, not to mention that royal enfield provides hundreds of accessories to customize it. It's really great :)

    Well, your English is pretty damn good 👍 I come from riding big bikes, many years of riding. I know most tend to go from smaller bikes to larger, which is the case in most situations, but oddly enough, I did the opposite...
    After testing a ton of bikes, precisely the ones you named and others, out of all the them, the 350 GK Sports Cafe caught my eye. The reasonable price and all it offers, I'm 5' 9" and the best fit to my body was the 350 GK. I actually now live in the outskirts of Madrid (from California) and the terrain is great for cornering on mountain roads! This bike really takes the curves extremely well, it actually reminded me of the Ducati I had! Normally I take it out every 2-3 days for short trips anywhere from 150-500 kilómetros. "INDY" the name of my bike, is extremely comfortable on trips. And a blast to ride!
    Reasons for down sizing? Well, the 900-1200cc bikes were heavy as hell, gas mileage was so so, parts and service intervals were pretty expensive, and dare I say a ton of power that I hardly used! I found that the 350 GK ticks off all the boxes and profile I wanted, and 40 horses is plenty. I am now a more relaxed rider, enjoying the scenery and simply enjoying the ride!!
    I've got two types of rides in mind, Madrid - Gibraltar, and Madrid - Asturias.
    If you are interested in planning and riding , let me know, I welcome a riding buddy😊 plus I'm bilingual too
    A little adventure on a bike is always great 👍

    Hello Kondor, I hope you are well! I have a question I would like you to answer. I am a beginner in the field of motorcycles and my budget is limited between the voge 300acx and the Royal enfield scram 411. I want a bike that is fun and also for traveling on long roads. Which is better in your opinion?
    Thank u in advance🙏

      I think both of them will fit your need just fine. It mostly depends on whether you want a more modern looking bike with a few more tech features (Voge) or if you want something sturdier, more classic styled but also easier to wrench on (RE) ✌️

      Yes the test ride is very important. I already have the Tiger if I want to go fast so the RE was a good addition to my garage ✌️

    HUNTER desperately needs -20 kg +10 hp, As it is, easy choice, Voge. I have tested both. Also tested Voge 300 ac, definitely better than HNTR, much lighter

    Royal enfield half hp from the others it's big disadvantage if you go to the highway everybody will overtake you even my grandma with a wheelchair, it's not for the highway only for city and country roads maybe

    • @kondormotorides
      @kondormotorides  8 місяців тому

      I have enfield bullet 350 1998 model I would trust a bike made in India very much especially in electrics, I have pay till now about 2500€ one common problem for bullets is that at 20.000klm oil pump stop working and it's not going oil in the engine so the engine have a big damage the cost is 1200€ cylinder pistons all must change from the start...
      Also Lucas main harness and electronics (the prince of darkness as they say about Lucas) is for the trush, also bad alloy metals oil tank is cracked..
      When it's new every motorcycle is good but only time will tell and if you have spent about the 1/3 in damages for a motorcycle that cost about 6500€ new it's not good.

      I picked up a lil’ Hunter 350 a few weeks ago, I’ve been blessed with wonderful autumn riding weather. The Hunter has been available here in the states for about a year now. It’s the perfect bike for me and my riding style. I put a little more than a 1000 miles on it already. I’m glad you are enjoying yours! Thanks for sharing !
