@h k Hello, I'll be more than happy to answer. Well for a starter I wanted to go to the medical field, but since my score wasn't enough, I opted for architecture. I hated the first 3 years, but 4th and 5th were amazing; the change of heart and mind came after I started looking at the tasks more like a game or brain teaser rather than chores. Given that I am a very good researcher and a fast learner; I took my skills to my advantage and turned those tasks into fun things to do. Right now I really do regret not doing well in those 3 years, I wish I can start all over again. Finally, I suggest that you learn architecture software early on, they'll make life easier later and they are so much fun to work with.
I just started an interior design course, and I started believing that everything had to look a "certain way" but your videos are showing me that presentation can be very creative and doesn't have to be dry technical drawings (of course those are needed too) but in terms of presenting, you are able to treat the drawings like cool graphics, and I'm really excited to know that! (they don't teach you that in school!)
I'm arch student, I understand your point. I feel like schools want to teach you the foundations first, line drawing, shadow, adding some materials here and there, etc. Then, it's up to you to push the boundaries and experiment. This especially holds true during the later years of your program. That's been my experience and I gotta say it definitely makes your portfolio stand out.

Hi, can I please know why can you open your pdf on illustrator as selectable objects? I want to change the line weights of my pdf on illustrator but it just comes as a single object, so can you please help me on this? Also thank you for your amazing work!!
Maybe a stupid question...You can link a file from illustrator to photoshop, but you can't do the opposite, right? So, you save the final image from photoshop? Doesn't that affect your lines and overall quality? (I'm working on my final thesis diagrams, masterplans etc. and I'm usually working on both programs and I'm a bit confused about that, I must say, because most of them are line drawings...)
You can work both ways around Dimitra. Place linked is a options for both programs. The only reason that I usually go Illustrator and then Photoshop is because once you transform your line drawings from vector to pixels, there's not going back. So be aware that once you place you PSD file in Illustrator, you won't have the option to change line weight, color and so on. I hope that clears you doubts. Cheers! 😀
@@LearnUpstairs Thank you for the answer! I think I needed to hear that you can have a perfect line drawing once importing from PSD to IL, but makes sense that you cannot. The only thing I found that maybe doesn't ruin my lines quality, is to import to illustrator only brushes or things like that from PSD. Don't know if that makes any sense though :P
Video maravilhoso como sempre! Adoro o canal!! Alguma dica ao importar para pdf? Aqui o arquivo fica muito grande, deixando o processo no illustrator muito lento!! Sabe como posso melhorar? Obrigada
When I placed the drawing in photoshop, the quality went too bad. Also in Illustrator, where to type the size while changing the working area? I make ctrl+R to the ruler and I use mm but I cant type a specific number. I only can drag the borderes
Hi Bruno! As of today, the only course I have is the one on udemy. But I'm planning to release a couple more. Skillshare is the sponsor of the video. They are great to learn various skills. But my course isn't there.
how u change the degree of zoom ? u said at 45' angle but how ,i try to clicking the box and write it down from own but that doesn't work ,can u plz tell me ?
Great style, I did the same things as this video on my presentation and the professors killed me with their comments. Good for a first year student and simple housing drawings but not good for complex projects. the colors takes too much attention and needs to be more technical drawings.
Hi Ebram! You're definitetly right. This style isn't suitable for all situations. Here on youtube, I allow myself to explore the artistic side a bit more. Especially because the result has to draw the viewer's attention. But the main goal of this video is to share with you a process and workflow, so you can apply some of these steps next time you create a perspective section.
@@LearnUpstairs It's true, I really enjoy your video's and learned a lot from some of your methods. As you said everyone can pick the right style and methods for his/her needs and particular situation.

You can do this on illustrator too and keep it vectorised, that way you don't lose detail when you scale it up accordingly to your presentation board
