Design -- I think I like the Type-40 Fists in terms of Design. Would like it more so if the electricity current flowed through the innards of the bracers. Set -- I generally used Virtuous Contract (2B's Default) throughout the game and varied up my secondary weapon. Namely Virtuous Treaty (Early Game), Beastlord (Early Game) and Faith (Very Late Game). At first I just liked keeping the same type (Virtuous) but then I found the Beastlord to be pretty cool in terms of looks and attack. I think I changed up due to attack speed though. Not that the Virtuous Treaty is probably much better (Can't remember) since it's a large sword as well. I stumbled upon Faith late Route C and liked the combo variant from what I recall and used it from that point on. Ability -- I don't really remember the abilities and don't really feel like going through each weapon on the wiki. What about yourself?

Yep, you have a nice amount of options to choose from. There's some you can buy from traders and some you find throughout the world throughout playthroughs or obtain from sidequests.

what is your Playtime in this game? lvl 99, all weapons lvl 4, and i bet all pods lvl 4 and all chips :) I just reached Route B, and i love every second of this game
66 hours, 46 minutes, 41 seconds is my 100% completion playtime. 51 hours, 50 minutes, 27 seconds was my story (all 3 routes) completion time. +Royalty Allen Yeah, I can't remember exactly since I don't remember the quest but if it doesn't pop up again in Route B or C you can just backtrack after Route C through chapter select. It might pop up again but I can't recall, sorry.
+Doodle Type40 sword is available in route A, becomes available around the time where the cave appears, u CAN trigger it doing specific things but also by just doing sidequest and running around

Originally I thought gold was for Lv.4 but someone mentioned it was not in a forum thread I read. I never really used the respective weapons nor looked at them until I leveled them to 4 so I just assumed at the time.
Gold weapons are 9s's line of weapons that have a special ability where you do more dmg with low hp, the virtuous weapons (white) are 2b's line and their lvl 4 ability makes you do more dmg with 100% hp.
@That Anime Guy You got it to Lv.4 (Not Lv.3)? Could be a bonus for getting all Type-40 weapons to Lv.4, but I'm not certain. @nathan basford It's the Type-40 weapons that do it. He's referring to the blue electricity.

you grinded to lvl 99 before route B? you're gonna be super overlevelled (and you probably already know this because its a year-old comment but still)
