Can you explain to me what "Chapter 04-17" is ? I only have chapter 04-01 to 04-04. And Emile doesn't have any weapons.
Proposal: Show the weapons after obtaining them.
Another proposal: Hover over the closer Access points on the map to tell people where it is. Also for the quests that he quickly ends to the next show the same chapter and where to get it.
No Game why? it shouldnt be THAT HARD

6:33 if you can’t make that jump, here’s a easier way:
1: play as 9S
2: remote control machine
3 get close to snake and control it
4 hold down the pod program button to move faster and hold jump to fly over to the building.
5 detonate
6 reap your rewards
Just use a spear the moveset pushes you forward pretty far the air then all you do is dash after you poke and you should grab on easily
Tbh i think its just easier to dash jump dash jump then spam light attack
Its a bit easier with 2B or A2, just jump, dash, jump, do the pod kick (pod fire+dash), then spam 4 attacks with a small sword, that gets u there pretty everytime.
It’s Quite Easy If You Use The R1 + X Move
this is true, but also with and combat bracer you can do 6 punches and its not that hard
I like this, no screwing about, no long intro or outro or pandering for whatever, just "here's how to get the weapons" done.

When gliding with your pod you can use the attack buttons to stay in the air for a tad longer.

6:30 jump twice, then press R1+X at same time to do arial attack flip thingy, then press R2, and then hold X. its actually super easy to make long jumps :D
You can also use fully charged missile with some jumps and dashes
I got to the building by hijacking a hover bot, and just tapping x you can glide over to it
The part where it shows the location for Virtuous Grief is just plain unhelpful if you don't show how someone can get up onto the plateau. I had to look up a different video to even know that you gotta go all around the forest to even get on the route to the weapon.

For those who don’t know still where the grief fists are, there is a waterfall you see robots training if you have the dlc it’s where the arena where you play as a machine is located. Follow that waterfall down towards the cliff side turn the camera right you’ll see a gap between a pile of rocks a thin tree, go though the gap and follow the path until you see dead Android do some jump stuff and you’re there

A little tip for the Machine Heads. When I loaded Chapter 15-01, Pascal wasn't in the village. Load chapter 14-05 and play that short part again and then head to Pascal's Village. Maybe someone has the same problem.

I would say that Type -4O Lance can be obtained at firts run with 2B, actually.
It's my fisrt time playing it, havn't finished A and I got it from the same mision "Betrayers", but just playing as 2B.

Ooook... I know what you mean, It took my time to realize it. That's the sub-chapter, You can't choose it.
The order is "Chapter>Sub-Chapters>Sub-Sub-Chapters (i don't even know hot to refer to this ones)"
If you want to replay something, you have to go by the Sub-Sub-Charapters, and select which one do you want to replay.
So, if you want to choose something in that part, maybe from the begining of it, you should choose08_01-1.

I did the jump with virtuous Grief you can do it much easier then even the video showed especially with it upgraded once.

Beastcurse can only be gotten on a 9s playthrough need to hack the chest.
Type-40 Lance can be gotten on your first playthrough as 2B.

Emil's head (weapon) is obtained only after u beating him. Talk to him near the desert entrance. Then go to where (after the Goliath destroyed the area) drainage close to the sewage entrance where a tree connects overpass bridge in the City area. Take the elevator in drainage outlet off the edge of a clift to where Emil's place is, take the mask, then go to the surface to talk to him again. After that, go down to his place with 9S to unlock his chest with another mask. Leave his place, fight him, when victorious, you can retrieve the weapon.

Just a quick heads up; you can get the Type-40 Lance as early as your first playthrough of the game. It's a reward for completing that quest regardless of who you play as I believe.
Makes sense. Though I only found the Yorha traitors on my B-playthrough and they were pretty high level. They either scaled up to Route B or they were just technically intended to be beaten in Route B.

Hey everyone! To get the Cruel Lament Weapon from Miramasa you need to have 1 weapon leveled up to lvl 4 for him to give it to you. I leveled up 2B's small sword Virtuous Contract with him and then after getting it to level 4 he gave me Cruel Lament.
I have 3 weapons on level 4 but he hasn’t given it to me?

Another trick to reach the isolated building for the Type 3 Lance is to hijack this flying worm-like thing. Once you do, you'll want to hold the R2 button and then hold the X (Jump Button) to keep it in air. This is the easiest I found.

I dont know where these locations are, some map notes would be nice, I cant find it on the minimap because my map hud is different from the minimap.
personal favorite weapon is cypress stick lvl 4 its ability makes it fun as hell to use and quite possibly strongest weapon while also being weakest in game (can hit enemies for over 50k damage and also hit for 245 lol)
Only about 50% done on ending A, still so many weapons I missed. Should probably have spent more time exploring the zones.

SO how exactly does the weapon stat stacking work? Are only the stats on the equipped set active, or are all the stats on both sets active regardless of whichever set you have active?

So if I missed any weapons from either route A or B can I get them again? I didn't realise the twins had a shop in the resistance camp, so I missed the Type-40 sword/blade, and I've also missed quite a few more. I'm going through route C now and have overwrite my save file so I can't go back
If you keep playing after ending C you get to free play with all the characters.

ive completed the game (all 3 playthroughs) ive got every weapon except the type 4o lance, i just cant get the YorHa betrayers mission to show up again, any help?
Make sure the first encounter is where you land the first time (on the roof of the building). The second should be on top of the Goliath (Engels). When you kill them during the second time, their 'leader' should come for them (wielding the lance). Kill this unit and you get the lance.
I had the same problem, I've reloaded that chapter time and time again. If it seems stuck and you don't encounter them, you could try to play a little bit further into the storyline and hope the quest recovers itself...
Not much of help here but that was my own experience, after some time it actually worked! But still, really glitchy quest.

DrawingStone when i had the yorha betrayers quest i killed them on the roof first, then i had to finish the forest kingdom quest, then i killed them by the factory and it said i completed the quest without even fighting them on too if the goliath.
In between this process i was in the middle of doing examine machine part 1, and i did NOT fix the goliath head yet, i just went straight to resistance hq after beating the jackass drug quest

I did the Type-3 Lance first try just use your pod to boost (space+shift in mid air) and double sprint mid air (W x2) and attack 3 times.
