I remember grinding the hell out of this way back when and eventually got it. Wasn't done with the game, I used the rewards to do a minimum level playthrough of the whole game (I tried to stay at level 1 the entire game but that was hard.) I finished route C at level 25 ish. Also, not a fan of your taunt take. A2's taught has plenty of benefits. It activates in a sphere around her so enemies behind or high above you will all get taunted. You can reliably taunt enemies before they land on the stage. Depending on the weapon, it's faster too. Bracers are fastest but short swords aren't far behind. It doesn't require constant mashing of a button and it's stylish as fuck. Farming routes for Nier are aren't too well known so I figured most of my own out. There's guys outside the forest castle that drop offensive heal. There's the easy af overclock farm which I did early in my VH playthrough in the underground factory. Tip from me on the final fight. Instead of relying on berserk mode i recommend switching up to Last Stand plug in (+ attack when you're below 25% HP). What I did was leave a single dino machine before the fight, and stale it without healing from offensive heal until berserk mode suck me dry. Using Last stand will give you same results as berserk mode ( I think ?) but you don't need to be pressured into healing yourself. And additional "chance" that berserk mode gives in my testing becomes useless when fighting adam & eve. Usually they pinned me down before I could do anything. Also using Last stand can give you more space to squeeze something in, case you also don't need to use hp bar. I highly recommend the plugin that slows time when you're near projectiles. Makes it way easier to overclock range attack from Eve (Adam is kind of easy)
I did it with the most broken glass cannon build i have ever seen and of course exploiting efficient stacking had so much space left that hardest thing was thinking what else would be useful rather than overly painful grinding

the reward are 10 consumables that allow you to level down from 99 all the way to 1. So it can be a way to enjoy a "NG+" run with all the stuff you already have by just skipping back to the first chapter
I hate to be that guy, but you got the names of the shield programs mixed up. "M Shield" is actually the shield meant to block projectiles, not melee attacks. The devs must've switched the names on purpose. xD Also, I know that nobody asked, but a couple of suggestions that might be useful to some players: you can use Decoy to buy yourself some time in particularly challenging waves like the one with the shitload of spider bots. You can also use it during the wave with the suicidal machines and watch them blow themselves up from a safe distance instead of praying that the shield holds while they blow up on your face. Another thing I discovered is that P Shield (the shield meant to block melee attacks) can be very helpful against Enhanced Legpower Goliaths. For example, in wave 19, instead of targeting a normal Goliath, you can use P Shield, run close to the spot where Legpower Goliaths land, taunt them and kill them quickly before things get messy. Granted, it's not a very safe strategy, since the shield can wear off quickly, but I'd argue that fighting 2 Legpower Goliaths at the same time is much worse if they start jumping around, producing shockwave attacks and firing lasers from across the stage. Last but not least, the Koshi/Roshi (AKA the giant beach ball) fight is much, much easier if you use slow on him. If you're fast enough, you can kill him before he can even begin attacking you, so you don't have to worry about him. ...not that any of that will make a difference, since Adam and Eve will fuck your shit up in the final wave. :P
Yoko Taro is such a god at trolling that he even trolled the names xD. But it is true that there a lot of better strategies, I'm glad you pointed them out :D
It's not exactly trolling, just not explicitly explained. It's Magic Shield and Physical Shield as the projectiles are magic (though I don't recall if it's explained why the alien robots can use magic, though they do have the Legion's red eyes so there's that)
My playtime is 100+ hours and did everything, every weapon upgraded etc as far as I remember and I do not have the dlc, lol,I guess I just wasted all those hours wandering around away from missions and story and playing with the camera angles to sneak a peak, you know what I mean.

"Because spamming your flashlight has the same effect as taunt for no good reason"....No, If you shine a flashlight into someone's eye it's going to hurt your eyes and you will get pissed off. I fully believe this is an intentional game design mechanic 😂
the hardest challenge is getting ending E with a torrent game, where you don't have the help of other people deleted saves and has to beat the Bullet Hell credits entirely alone (and before the BS comments about pirating come in, i actually support the developers of a game i liked by buying it and do indeed own the original game, but not every country has a price so cheap as a $60 / $70 dollars even for new releases)

I hate to be that guy, but you got the names of the shield programs mixed up. "M Shield" is actually the shield meant to block projectiles, not melee attacks. The devs must've switched the names on purpose. xD
Also, I know that nobody asked, but a couple of suggestions that might be useful to some players: you can use Decoy to buy yourself some time in particularly challenging waves like the one with the shitload of spider bots.
4:00 had me feeling motivated
Mad respect my dude
Grinding to Level 99 is the definition of becoming antisocial for YEARS. :D :D
Ngl it's not that hard once you reach 60-70. You just have to fight the Golden Bunny over and over.
Great video ❤️👍🏻
Thank you for creating this video. I especially like the way you narrate it and call the bots stupid and spiders and all kinds of other things. Great video.... i subscribed and liked it. FYI i am huge nier automata fan.... just started playing the actual game though.
This is hilarious 😂
"Unless you're asain"
DAMN BRO, YOURE REALLY BECOME THE GOD
I mean tbh,id also be quite crossed if someone started repeatedly flashing a light in my face
I'd definitely start acting like a clown and throw shit like they did
LEZZGOOOOO VERGIL OST
good job
thank you for a video well made
I salute you, soldier.
That moment when I 50 hours in and thinking I've almost 100% the game only to realize I'm half way 💀
Fortunately, the parry mechanic is quite easy to master
If you're lvl99 and you have a defense +8 chip with hp +8 chip you can survive one hit
Oh fuck i never got past the tank i thought that was the last one
I didn't know special rank had an end. I though it was just endless waves of bullshit just to see how much you can endure. Apparently you can endure all of it.
There goes my social life
"Because spamming your flashlight has the same effect as taunt for no good reason"....No, If you shine a flashlight into someone's eye it's going to hurt your eyes and you will get pissed off. I fully believe this is an intentional game design mechanic 😂
You have a good voice man
Now the grindset is done
the hardest challenge is getting ending E with a torrent game, where you don't have the help of other people deleted saves and has to beat the Bullet Hell credits entirely alone (and before the BS comments about pirating come in, i actually support the developers of a game i liked by buying it and do indeed own the original game, but not every country has a price so cheap as a $60 / $70 dollars even for new releases)
it was easy, I used cheatengine to increase my life count. checked for integer value at the start then rechecked it losing until one and changed the value to 999 or something
@ well, in my conception using any kind of cheat invalids the word "Challenge", but to each his own i guess
@@thevoidzor yes you are right it doesn't fit in the word "challenge", yet as a person who is not hardcore gamer this challenge was not optional. anyway I didn't buy the game in my first playthrough so have no right to speak
Imagine if this was a Ending E 💀🤣🤣
Been practicing for weeks… getting dunked on pretty hard by Dark Adam and Eve at the last round. Really don’t know what to do in that fight
I remember spending so long on this and basically just brute forced it until I did it
I hate the "gestalt" machines so much
Great video
bro makes this shxt look so easy.ive been trying over and over for 2 weeks and just cannot get past the first fcking boss
I give up at completing this stuff, I just turned my save into orbs for other instead
now do it on level 1 with no chips.
I gave up. I kept trying to jump into the hole with the pipe in the middle to follow the quest and it would just error out and shut the game down. I tried way too many times, different ways each time after researching online for a fix.
what do you get?
0:44 Yoo I have the exact same save files. The first play-through I was trying to 100% the game but I ended up with all the endings except for “Y” cause I was too into the game and couldn’t help myself but to help Emil. So, I had to start another save file to get all endings.
04:00 a fellow motivated i see . . .
IIRC flashing your car lights at someone is considering a taunt in my countries/cultures. That might be why flashing the flashlight is a taunt too? Longshot but who knows, lol.
That and the fact that there's few things in life as obnoxious as someone flashing a light in your face repeatedly lol
