I grew up in Independence and it really is a special place. Beautiful Main Street and a rich history. Independence was once the hop center of the world and is still today surrounded by beautiful farms. Independence has very low crime and huge civic pride. I am proud to be from independence and I know that anyone would be proud to live there.
