You aren't replacing DLo if he walks. Then you have to trade Rui or Vando for another guard which creates a hole on the wing.
You absolutely need Dlo for trade purposes. You all literally forgot Lakers likely miss the playoffs without him.

You have to sign him for business purposes too. You cannot lose that trade asset. You can’t replace his money with a free agent. Money would be gone to boot. Have to resign him.
