As a Lakers fan, Magic coming to the Lakers was the beginning of the end. The first thing he did was trade DLO, if he hadn't done that. We would not have had the pick that turned out to be Kuzma, but we would have been able to draft Tatum instead of Lonzo Ball. He also traded Lou Williams. The Lakers were on the verge of a stretch of 15 years of relevance prior to the arrival of Lebron James. Check out 2017-2018 Lakers Roster. Jordan Clarkson, Lonzo Ball, Gary Payton II, KCP, Alex Caruso, Josh Hart, Brandon Ingram, Kyle Kuzma, Julius Randle, Larry Nance Jr., Brook Lopez, Ivica Zubac. Signing Lebron and going into panic mode trading for AD was a casual move. The players they got rid of are playing well all over league. Now Boston is young and may win multiple chips over the next few years. While the Lakers are trying to "fake contend" with a soon to be 40 year old Lebron. I'm sick to my stomach.

Pelinka has run this team into the ground. Pelinka let Woj reveal the contract details so that 1) we get criticized by everyone who can compare it to the 8yr/100+m rumors which we did not refute and 2) we lose financial leverage with JJ and other prospective coaches. At a time when we are basically the last NBA team looking for a coach (Barrego will probably go the Cavs very soon). And as a bonus, we're now bankrolling Ham to be a Bucks assistant. Oh yeah, Woj broke that news for us too. I honestly don't know at this point what more Pelinka could do to sabotage the team! He'll probably trade up in the top 10 and use it to take Bronny. We're just as badly managed as the day we signed Deng and Mozgov.
