- I have so much to share today!!! We found a massive 10 foot long church pew on the curb and gave it a huge makeover. Halfway through the bench makeover we brought home our baby girl...after a wild delivery. I'll share all the details in today's episode.

What a big change! What would you have done with this piece if you found it on the side of the road?
I’ve been wanting a church pew for a long time! If I found one I would use dark stain on the wood and a khaki tone outdoor fabric with pillows much like yours. 🌻 🤍
When I first saw it I thought you were going to cut it up and use the wood for a couple of different projects. But with a family of 6, an outdoor dining bench will get tons of use. Congratulations and welcome back. I missed you. Your husband seems awesome. I wish you and your family good health and happiness.
I would have made it into 2 benches, or cut the middle at a 45 degree and made it a corner bench. Love your videos. Congratulations on the new human!
I would have used the long pieces like lumber and made shelving.

I went through the same with my son almost 30 years ago. They kept trying to turn him and he just kept flipping back. Had no choice but to have the C-section. But he's great. You'd never know he was a C-section baby, except when he leaves he goes out the window instead of the door. 🤷♀️😜😂 Congratulations on the newest addition to the family. She's so cute! Glad you're both doing well.

That was cute!!! My baby was delivered C-section. It can be scary and my son did have cord wrapped around his neck. He did well afterwards. He'll be 22 in September. I'm grateful that the baby was born healthy and us safely here. And with covid. My goodness, that is rough.

What a beautiful little girl! She has to be a fighter to make it through all of that and you, too! I'm glad all went well in the end.
That fabric removal was a good way for your husband to work out any anxiety he may have had. I think someone intended for it to stay. BTW, that is orange crushed velvet. Believe it or not, we even made clothing from that. Now, shag was carpet...equally as awful. A nightmare to clean! Anyway, just some quick facts from the 70's. I lived through it all....

All of my babies were born at 37 weeks and tiny, but they NEVER had hair like hers! I'm so glad you were able to take some time off. Precious, also very glad she is doing well as well as yourself. This pew brings back memories growing up. There was 9 in my family … dad took an old church pew and refinished it then custom built chairs and a table. The table was a 4x8 sheet of plywood with hardwood flooring on top and then banded supported by a 4x4 trestle. So many memories and love shared around that table.
