- I'M BACK! I have missed you all so much! It has been a roller coaster of a month and I am ready for things to get back to "normal". Here is what we have been up lately. An auction furniture flip, a room makeover, getting ready for baby, and LOTS of doctors appointments.

Loved that little french style dresser. The colour is really pretty. Gosh, you've got a lot of projects going at once. I wish I was so motivated and organised. There are several that I subscribed to as a result and I’m getting some great ideas...having said that, you are just my all around my favorite. First of all, I love that you donate to the foster kids aging out of the system. They will never forget you did that...and to their tastes❤️I have been thinking of ways I can do the same. God blesses us as we bless others. I don’t mean that in a selfish way. We are always almost MORE blessed than the ones we help. That’s my experience.
Also, I love your taste and style and ability to be flexible. I have found you are able to transcend trends to go with what a piece needs.
And lastly, I can identify with your family as my daughter is pregnant with their third😊

Prayers to you and your family. I had a high risk pregnancy and on bed rest for 20 weeks with a placenta abruption. Weekly exams as well. It is very scary and hearing u speak about it your difficulties made me feel and remember that feeling. Praying for y’all ❤️❤️

Hi Cory,,,love the little antique dresser. I just wanted to mention something. When my nephew was born (38 yrs ago), they realized very shortly after he came out that his umbilical cord also only had one artery and one vein. They did not know this until they inspected the cord shortly after he was born. They then had to do an ultrasound, as they were concerned because of the cord missing the other artery, he'd only have one kidney. But thankfully when they did the ultrasound, he had two. He had no issues due to the cord only having one artery. I hope this sets your mind at ease even a little bit. I wish you much luck with your delivery and will have you in my prayers. 💜

I took a dye class in college and found the best results come if you have a dye pot and use the stove top method. The washing machine does not get really hot water. It’s such a rewarding process too because you get to monitor the color. Oh and I love the color you chose for the dresser. Thanks for the update on your health. I’m praying for you and yours.

To do corners the way upholsterers do, start by folding the corner in kitty corner, fasten down, then fold in the sides. My mom worked with very high priced decorators.

Thank you Sherry. Before, families used to redye their clothes instead of throwing them away which I think is really great. Now people are more wasteful (and clothes aren't as great of quality).

I had the same issue with the cord with my youngest son. I was about 14 weeks along when it was discovered. I was already being monitored by a high risk doctor because of my MTHFR mutation. I was on blood thinners for my mutation. I was also told that my son’s ventrical in the left side of his brain was dilated, which indicated water on the brain. My doctor tried to scare into thinking something was wrong, but you know what? He turned out fine. He was born at 38 weeks because of my clotting disorder and he weighed in at 7 lbs 3 oz. He has most of his milestones ahead of schedule and is thriving. Praying everything goes well for you and your little one.

My grandson's umbilical cord only had the two blood vessels as well. So my daughter was considered high risk and was seen by specialists. My grandson weighed 9lbs. 14oz. at birth. He's now 11 and healthy! God bless! You are getting good care!
