Plate hooks ,I have found them at Walmart. Your collection is beautiful, you touch my heart with how you give new life to old treasures. Thanks for your talent.
Your lounge is coming on a treat. The hutch you've just done is positively gorgeous, I love it. And no I haven't glued any fabrics before, but it might be something I might try, after watching you do the chair. Have really enjoyed watching this one, thank you. 🥰🇬🇧🐾🐾❄️
I love your style choices in color and classics that last a life time. Also love that you made the recipes at the end. That was sweet to see and you honored the women who owned the hutch. xx
Hello, I LOVE ❤ the colors of the Hutch. BEAUTIFUL...❤. I think the trim on the chair is a NICE touch. Not too much...and simple enough to do. Thank you for sharing that idea. 😊
I just found your channel today and I love your stuff. The green and the blue really pops. I love the chair too. I don’t know how you find the time to paint and make a video with 4 babies and a husband, definitely multitasking. Thank you for sharing your ideas.
I love watching you and your husband recreate. You have such a pleasant voice to listen to. I love the hutch, the color is beautiful. The lamp is lovely! Have a great day!
Everything turned out so beautiful!!! Love the color on the china cabinet. For the chair, another option is removing the skirting if it has nice legs. They are all treasures!!! ❤
🌼🤍 I know how creative you are, yet every time I watch a new makeover I'm still so surprised how beautifully it all comes together. 🤍🌼 You genuinely have a gift for this. Talented, beautiful and humble. What a combination! 🥰💕🤍🌼
Cory, I need you to decorate my home! I love how you mixed old items with found/inherited items in your beautifully renovated china cabinet. And your extra special touches, like the trim on the chair, were just enough. Lovely, lovely! You always leave me waiting for your next video. Thank you for sharing the expertise which you have developed over these last years. Keep those videos coming! Love to your family!
I have never even thought about adding trim on furniture, what a great idea! I recently had the idea to add trim to my lamps so these projects will be fun. Thank you also for the fabric glue information. And....the confidence you gave me for the hutch remake, I have had this poor little side table and afraid to attempt the remake, after the hutch...👍
Love the hutch.. salmon patties, canned salmon. An egg, little salt, 1 squirt of frenches mustard ( u won't taste it) ¼ grated onion, pinch of flour or cornmeal. Lightly mix . 1 sleeve of crushed saltiness. Make patties into size u like( i make like small hamburger) press each pattie into saltines, this will soak up any liquid. Fry on each side intil golden brown. Ive made these for years. People who wont touch salmon love them. People whove eaten them elsewhere say theyre the best. My husband loves to eat them at room temp.. i hv to agree after trying it. Seems ya dont taste the hot oil as much😋
OMG…not a drop cloth definitely a pro. I am such a clutz , and along with my puppy always being such a help this just looks like a huge crime scene ready to happen lol. Liked the video and the dining hutch. Green not my color but this color was one I would consider. Very pretty.
That poor hutch was so filthy and now look at it...magnificient! The color is delightful and I'm so glad you left all the marks of life on it instead of making it pristine. The chair literally needed that trim, too like a breath of fresh air. An idea for the corner, maybe a unique table with a photo array? Loved the recipes at the end! 😊 Great video/tutorial as always! Love it!
Hi from across the pond you are a very talented young lady the out come is beautiful well done my dad was a french polisher a lot of the furniture as the cabenet started of he polished the carving on the unit fab on the handles as well i will be watching your created videos loved the viewingthank you so much❤😊
Love your hutch project. What a labor of love! TIP: I use Murphy’s Oil Soap to clean all my brushes. You may not like the scent but definitely a brush saver!
So, so cute is this video. I LOVE the soothing blue in that room! Yes, I agree - less is more sometimes. I love the trim on the chair, the pillows (maybe a little throw, too?). I would like to see a secretary in the other corner maybe. Love the video, thanks for the ideas.
Turned out beautiful, as usual! You have a true gift! Maybe another chair. It might be neat to have a different chair or an older desk. Thx for sharing!
Beautiful job with this makeover. I also like that you have the curtains on one side of each window. Looks greet!! This is my first time watching you. I'll be watching more!!
Stunning work in your sitting room, Corey. And it looks awesome with the dining room next door. The combination of blue and green is so restful! Well done. And, yes, you need an ottoman in front of the chair. Can't wait to see what you do there.
I've been following you for a number of years now. I remember watching you refinish your furniture pieces right on the driveway at your old house in Arizona. Flip flops and a tank top! It breaks my heart to see what lengths you have to go to now so can do what you love. But that's just it I guess, you love it so much, you're willing to facev g t😊
I am not an upholsterer BUT I am a hat maker and trim is one of my favorite things to do. I am always putting trim on something. I did not however know about the fabric hot glue which I will try for sure! 😊
I’ve never thought about putting trim on the skirt. What a great idea! The latest trend is to remove the skirt completely. That’s something I don’t want to do. Thank you for an alternative!
My mom made those salmon drops & she called them “salmon croquets.” My mom didn’t season them, either. We aren’t spicy people. 😁 Your videos are so unique. I love how you made the recipes that you found in the hutch AND tasted them. That’s such a spontaneous thing to do.
Thank you so much! I loved hearing your story. I have adhd so sometimes it makes me do spontaneous things I guess. I don't even realize it haha. It's my super power. 👌
Wow it turned out gorgeous. And the Blue Willow I have been collecting for years. Country Living had a spread in their Spring catalog feathering Blue Willow so thanks to them the prices have sky rocketed. Your hutch and the decor looks amazing ☺️💕
Thank you Gina. I think there are quite a few different things showing blue willow and other blue and white decor. The new decor style "grandmillenial" is another reason they are popular again.
Not to mention that Royal Stafford is one of the FEW English potters still making that pattern in Staffordshire, England instead of outsourcing to the PRC.
Everything looks so fresh and light and pretty, I love it! You can always put a different chair in the other corner. Especially with Granny Chic, it doesn’t have to be matching. ❤
The hutch turned out great! Love the 2 tone colors especially the green!❤️Game changer with hanging the plates on the back. I never would have thought of that!
I just had my kitchen cupboards painted a few weeks ago . Just the inserts I wanted some wood showing on the cabinets . The color you chose is almost the same color as my cabinets . !! Plus I seen a new jeep in my church parking lot and it was the same shade as my cabinets and your hutch . ! I loved the look you got and love how you decorated inside your hutch ! Mine is so full with all my children’s and grandkids plates and special Items they got me through the years . I cannot remove them they will notice ! Lol love the style you have for decorating !
So enjoyed this video! It was my first time seeing you, so I liked and subscribed! That little trim on the chair looks great and the lamp turned out wonderful! The hutch was a big project but you did a beautiful job! Those blue dishes are gorgeous! Excited to see more! Thanks for sharing!
You did such a good job Cory! Everything looks sooo good! Love the trim on the chair. After seeing you hot glue the trim I’ve done the same on some cording on a chair I redid last week. And it looks great! Your livingroom is looking so cozy! 🥰🥰🥰
Great video. The hutch turned out amazing. As a longtime subscriber as soon as you showed the tassel trim I just knew you were going to pick that and thought it was really funny that you tried out the other two. I love your style and I really like that you are not one of the stereotypical UA-camrs where everything is perfect and whatever is trending. I love that you show your style because I find it so much more inspiring and creatively motivating.
Wow thank you so much for your perspective. I feel like I may not get the huge views but the people who do watch my channel are truly great people like you! Thank you
I really like the cabinet. I think it looks fine without the decoration. I never thought of using silver. It came out nice. Thanks for the video.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🏵
Salmon Patties were my children’s favorite meal. It is inexpensive, easy, and to me delicious. I use old fashioned oats for my binder, instead of flour.
I definitely measure just like that! 😂. My husband drives me nuts waiting for his perfection. I love watching and what you’ve done! Love it!! Thanks for sharing, Cory..❤

Wide trims are crazy expensive! Sometimes you can find them online for a better price but 12-25 dollars a yard makes them quite a luxury!
