- We replace the o-rings on the solenoids, install a new conductor plate, and perform the Doctor A's RSN fix with a #56 bit. Finally we install the assembly into the transmission along with a new filter and gasket.

@@deyoviCoh yes I never made that video, really quite easy. The video I shot is not super helpful. It’s really easy to get the bell housing bolts in with the engine pivoted backwards.
Y’all gotta watch and subscribe so he can get new video software to edit out the flip flop sounds.
The torque down of the conductor plate was unnatural... Anyone that wears flip-flops while working on a car cannot be trusted.. probably wasn't in the forum instructions... strange noses like he's trying to be that Boltier guy, yet with a modified vocabulary concerns me
Absolutely great video you sound very knowledgeable thank you I have a question. My transmission is fine but it won’t go in to fourth or overdrive the rpm just increases. It’ll catch occasionally then jump right out as long as I’m in three. I’m fine but I can’t go to four overdrive. I’m thinking shift solenoid. Where’s your brain on this?🤔

Instruction were just reading the factory service manual. I bout o-rings from Cobra transmission cobratransmission.com/MB-722.6-Solenoid-ORing-Kit
HELLO.....thank you for your superb video....same problem after changing my plate with Febi-bilstein and Solenoid joints etc...Code P0730 on my Autel and in addition the Mercedes techs tell me that they can no longer access the settings with their Tablet..

Can you explain the symptoms of a failed conductor plate?
8:03 Your TCC damper piston is wrong! You need to put the piston inside and then the spring! Now it´s the other way round.
You are my hero, I have some RSN after the converter swap and this must be why. I never removed the piston and this is a remanufactured transmission so the rebuilder must have reversed it in the past. I'll flip this asap. Thanks again!
After referencing the FSM the piston is actually in correct, as is. Can you provide a link to documentation to the contrary?
So where did u buy ur torque converter and did u rebuild the whole tranny?
The torque converter came from million mile sprinter. He had a few brand new units that he found. I did not rebuild the entire transmission. The only issue was the converter but I decided to do conductor plate and o-rings while I had it out due to age.
