Hey there, I am going to attempt this job tomorrow on my VW, was just wondering if you have to bleed anything after removing that metal hose? I just noticed that it was connected to some pump so I just wanted to check before making more work for myself! Thank for the tutorial!
thanks, but no thanks in the end did you remove from top or bottom? Remove PS pump and do from top or remove AC compressor and ps line and remove from bottom ? You should have finished the removal process. You left everyone confused
Nah, I think I'll pass on that one. I can see me messing up a lot more than fixing. Loosening and removing 2 belts, letting the ac compressor just hang by the hoses. I'll leave this one for the professionals
This is the most non-instructional instructional video I've ever watched😂 you need to remove that you know what it is you know where it's at I mean I would do it from the top but maybe I'm going to do it from the bottom no I'm going to do it from The Middle😂😂😂😂😂
I appreciate the video but.... You didn't "remove or replace". Actually "getting it out" is the hard part. You disconnected but... Wish you would have finished.
Do you have to hoist up the vw to work on the alternator?
did the alternator come out from the top or bottom?
Will this work for 2016 I can't find any videos
Thank u mi hermano...ur a lifesaver excellent video 👍🏾
Glad it helped
😃

If I didn't mention anything about bleeding, there nothing to bleed then
@@AxtuoAxdon’t need to be a douche about it
Lol for real ol' bro snapping at you. It looks like a rough job for a simple alternator change he was frustrated. His boss made him do tutorial.
Were you able to get the alternator out after all that?
Oh yeah....watchu thiiiiiiinnnnnk
The boat for the tensioner underneath the alternator is a triple square m10,
Not to self - do not try this on your own. 🤣
Why?
It’s fuckin gravy dude. Definitely try it yourself.
would this work for a 2015 passat wolfsburg edition?
Match the parts, and make sure it's the same design.
Thanks.
Fucking hell this makes me miss my 67 fastback lol props to the guys doing this work.

You remove the ground of the battery, that way you don't cause a short when you reconnect the power
