I just enjoyed the commentary and the fact that I who have almost no starcraft experience was wondering at some of the moves. Makes me want to take another go at ranked games.
Correction to hamster evaluation card: this guy did not f2 amove. He f2 right click a singular BC. All of his engagements were rightclicks on individual units, which is why units were running around so much.. I dont think he knows what a-move even is.
Wild episode. The start gives me the impression, they both watch pro matches and know how to seal the ramp. But then red is lacking so much basic knowledge/understanding in th end.
This is my Favorite Match Ever as of right now Lecrae was given atleast 30 different win opportunities but denied all of them. He's made a science out of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Tactically dodging ANY move that would have granted him a win. Simply Incredible play we can only find at the bottom of the StarCraft 2 ladder
I don't understand how he can have 20 marines in the enemies natural and just 1 enemy hellion which he kills, and still decides to not fire 1 single bullet at any workers? Maybe he follows the geneva convention and refuses to target civilians?
This was infuriating from start to end🤣. My boy coulda sniped the seconds starport, the core and still return to fend off that one BC, while getting rid of more posible BCs for solid 4 minutes.
In the beginning, this is a prime example of when you are hopelessly lost, and you have the opportunity, counterattack. It doesn't work all the time, or maybe even most of the time, but in RTS and MOBAs the other side will sometime retreat to defend despite being on the cusp of victory.
What an amazing match of rts gameplay. Truly the multiplayer match of all time. In all seriousness, its always great to see the occasional ultra low level game. Sometimes it feels like there's both so much and so little creativity occurring from both players in the most hilarious of ways.
After not playing for about 6 years, this video made me download sc2 again. Watching this I realized "hey, maybe I won't be so bad at this after all". Started laddering today after learning two build orders and somehow got placed in master 3? Thanks Harstem :D
Absolutely overflowing with ressources without spending any. These guys were so overburdenend with even the most basic tasks its crazy. And even in the few fights in BC vs Marine there is 0 micro from the BCs while doing nothing else.
Why didn't you kill all of the opponents workers on any of your pushes? "Workers don't do anything." Why did you run home when the BCs teleported? "He was going to kill my workers."
Are you doing live commentary for any pro games? you should.. Iknow you play them^^ but maybe as a sidequest some time would be awesome! All that knowledge and passion for the game, is truly inspiring!🤘
Seeing this makes me find the courage to actually play against humans. 😮 i currently enjoy just playing against the elite AI, never really considered playing against humans.
playing against humans is a lot more fun. Humans are unpredictable, you don't always know exactly what they are going to do, as you do with AI, and they (most) use their units intelligently, not throwing them at you 1 by 1, such as what the AI does. After you play against humans you figure AI is simply not fun at all. It just feels so flat and devoid of "actual thinking" in comparison.
What I find interesting about Bronze games is that often the while the game might not be IMBA, the skill set definitely is. Like Harstem said, this was almost a build, and he knew how to target down units, and even stutter step to some extent. He just made a few catastrophic errors - in particular letting a single BC distract his entire army repeatedly, and then force all his vikings to stay home. Without that he would have won easily, multiple times.
@@mothrahlurker788 totally! But knowing how is a skill, he just didn't know how to apply it. It helped him on a couple occasions when he was only fighting groups of BCs, but then hurt with mixed armies.
"Never played" Has a sort of a build order, figured about the wall and the natural. Knows about stim, does a neat stutterstep (or something similar at least)
But that's the thing - even considering that, the complaint makes no sense. He had more or less equal upgrades by game end, so the only thing that even starts to make sense is that Lacrae thinks Terran buildings require an upgrade to fly. Which also doesn't make any sense
I think the real crux is not knowing that buildings can lift off- because that lack of knowledge also stopped him checking the corners for the CC. perhaps he watched the replay and thought lifting off was an upgrade?
Captain @harstem would you be interested in doing a top 5 bracket guessing video for the who upcoming cup winners mayb be? or do a quick reaction video to Lambo's video and/or any other people who have made similar videos?
What I don't understand is, how can players be this bad and yet still know about expanding and making workers? In my day bronzies would stay on one base for 30 minutes and never go over like 30 workers.

yamato cannon a marine, wild stuff
That was my highlight as well, after not using Yamato cannon on the Viking.

One video that Lowko casted a whole back had a marine shooting down two battlecruisers, just saying, better to be safe than sorry.

Factually not true, the fight around 16:15 you can clearly see different marauders taking damage at the same time.
Also he definitely wasn't F2ing much because he had units standing around idle for most of the game. He would have *won* if he'd F2ed.
