2 BIG advantages of DLZ compared to others, 2 stereo analog inputs via an audio interface you can add 4 more microphones and there is automix, it would be good if you could activate it on all channels

Hey there, nice review, and thank you! The firmware is still in Version 1 so there is a lot of room to grow here. Imagine all the things that will be added as time goes on, wow. Which leads me to the Ethernet port, that is not functional at this time; but, at some point it will be, and again imagine all the capabilities that can be added with a functional Ethernet port - double wow. I’m pretty much sold on it what with the big screen, the rotary knobs, the master level fader, the auto ducking, the auto set up, the auto mix to name a few of the hooks that got me. Also, I think the preamps sound cleaner than the RCP2. Mackie has quite a history in this field and I’m sure they won’t let us down in the support and update area. I will have mine in the next couple of weeks! Take care and carry on!
I just got mine and I'm learning everything in it. The ethernet port is much faster and much more reliable for live streaming than wifi. This will come in newer updates. Plus, the ethernet port open the possibility of so many functionality
They should add Dante.

I would put my DJ controller Numark Mixstream Pro and DLZ Creator in a travel case and thats pretty much all i need for a mobile gig. It also eliminates using my Mac Pro.

I need your insight. How do I run audio out of a DLZ into my Canon XF605 video camera, which has XLR inputs? When I connect a 1/4 TRS cable to the XLR, the sound is distorted because of the mic level vs. line level. How can I overcome this and run my sound from the DLZ directly into the Canon XF605? Thank you for your great videos
I would love to give you a more technical answer but I would just sync in post and record directly to the DLZ via an SD card. Sound quality is just too important. 🙏🏾👊🏾
Great review, I see you have no I’ll effects from the XX last night..Lol, my wife is from Sasamulco which is close to Acapulco, so I’ve been on the XX for years. I have been looking at mixers for the past month right now I only have a Maschine mk3 and a S88 and a Motu m4, but want to podcast in the future and add a few odds and ends including a turn table do you think that Mackie will make a good fit or should I go for a more traditional mixer, I appreciate your advice

I didn't hear you say it if you did... but you could also take it with you and record a podcast and save it on a thumb drive right on the machine itself. But also, question, how about do you need a DAW or something to mix everything on before publishing it?

Hi, I need some advice. DLZ creator won't load my SD card. It's 256GB - 170MB/s - 10 - V30, you don't know where the problem is?

Yo, how r u? Thanks for the vid. I tried to connect my ipad usb c directly to the mackie but it doesnt 'see' it. My Mac and pc are working with usb c. But not the ipad. Its ipad pro 12.9 usb c.. You know why? Or what to do? Thanks..

Sounds like a USB C to USB C cable won’t work. You have to use the USB C to USB A cable that’s included with an adaptor. Has to do with converting the pin outs correctly
