This film was perfect. Yes it borrows stuff from 4, 5, and 6, but that was the point. It was about original fans remembering what is great about Star Wars while adding new elements in between character wise, Alien wise, Droid wise, force wise, and story wise. Episode I, IV, and VII are like poetry as George Lucas says. The family soap opera is there. Darth Vader's grandchildren are there. Passing the torch to the next generation is there. Above all the real "Star Wars" is there.
If I needed to remember why the original trilogy was great, I would watch the original trilogy.
It kills me watching this in 2020 😓

We were all hyped by this movie. Before the dark times. Before we realize it was crap. Like the whole fkin trilogy.
I had high hopes but Disney ruined it.
tbh i dont like the black dude as a main character... the movie could have had more mistery in it but it was ok
Why? I don´t mind him tbh.. what I do mind on the other hand is how overpowered Rey is, defeating Kylo, learning a bunch of force tricks and lightsaber dueling.. in a matter of minutes.. pissed me off beyond words and literally destroyed the entire movie for me.

Ummm why don't you like the "black dude" as the main character? I don't know if you don't like him as one of the main characters because he's black, but it sure as hell seems like it, given that you referred to him by his race, rather than his actual character name.
