This is genius! I hate sawing legs, this solves the problem! I will try it out when I make my next amigurumi. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you so much, is there a way to do it with an open leg at all? I was trying to make a stuffy for a cousin and wanted that look

Thank you for this tutorial. I was making your Toby the cat (I love them) but it was unclear to me with way the toes had to face. I thought the wide part of the circle was going to be the belly but it was in fact the back and the narrower part is the front. Good thing I double checked ;)

Thank you. this really helped. Looking at the photo the starting circle is on the bottom so the narrow part is forward. this saved me as I did it backwards first.

I am trying to finish the terrier for christmas and don't know which way the legs are supposed to go. the bottom legs go out and I don't know facing forward if they are closer to together on the narrow part of they are on the bottom with 7 stitches between them or if they are the other way and 21 stitches between them. I cannot tell from the photo or instructions

So in general, is the side of the leg you want seen facing you as you crochet them? I used the jogless BLO and colour change methods which look amazing, but even tho tiny, I want to hide the transition points and have them facing down when the animal is sitting so you don't see them

Hello Jess, I'm making Caroline the cow. You know how you did the dog & the bear and how you did the body can I do the same way with the cow body? Sew the pieces while I crochet the body. Please let me know. Thank you. I enjoy making your amigurumi. 😊❤

What side of the feet should be in front? My floofers is coming out soooo well. You did a fabulous job

If the dog is somewhat the same to the cat then the toes point outwards and the narrow part is the front so the toes point towards you as you are working on it.

Hi Jess! I wondered if you could help me! Im trying to crochet (non slip stitched shut) legs on to the body and the pattern is so confusing! If you have any spare time I would so so appreciate a reply on what it means! xx
(begin to crochet from the 3rd-4th stitch from the beginning of the round).

My Henry does not have toes, but a narrow and wider part. From reading the comments, it looks like the narrow part would be towards the side facing me, or towards the middle? I will check the pictures on the website again.
