    I'd go 100 and keep the extra 600 for other things

    The Dynomax Race Mini Bullets rarely let you down in terms of sound so that part was easy. I do think that a higher quality X-pipe would've really done the car justice.
    The MBRP system on the blue car is essentially a muffler and resonator delete with an H-pipe and Helmholtz (not J-pipe or 1/4 wave resonator as stated in the video) resonator added at the rear to fight drone.
    I like the more raw sound of the MBRP system (blue car), but I have a feeling that the car with the Mini Bullets would be more livable overall and they also sound pretty good, too, but different.

  • @ragintaurusmusclemercury7023
    @ragintaurusmusclemercury7023 Рік тому +35

    Both setups has resonator deletes with one having an expipe and the other having an h pipe. That being said I'll take the $700 system over the $100 hack job. It has a better tone due to the h-pipe instead of the x, the fitment is better, and the tips look better in the back. Whith the j pipes there will be no drone on long trips. It's a win-win. Worth the money.

      $100 in labor/pipe but the Bullets definitely sounded better. Better to start at a clean cut and build from there back. Even though the $700 kit was clamps and bolt on

      I have a 3v with straight pipes after the cats no drone what so ever. Don’t think the j pipes did much. Friends of mine also have 5.0s no j pipes and barely any cats left no drone.

    Ive had both an MBRP Race (H-pipe) and an MBRP X-pipe w/ muffler delete on my 2016 GT. The X pipe sounds so much beter IMO, especially in the lower rpms. The H pipe kind of tries to tame down the aggresive rasp that coyotes are known for and makes it sound more like a harley. X pipe adds to the agressiveness and makes that unmistakeable coyote sound that I love.

    Suitcase delete, keep active exhaust muffler axleback if so equipped. Both are stupid loud for me. Need some resonators in the mid pipe if using a straight thru small muffler out back. AWE touring system ftw if you want one of the best "loud-ish" systems out there. Expensive af tho!

    Cost of labor install isn't included in this comparison. One is just clamped on, so it should be MUCH cheaper to install, and the other was bent and welded, so it cost more than the $100 advertised in the comparison. At least try to make the comparison fair when you do a comparison video like this. I know you don't want to let everybody know how much the "$100" exhaust cost after labor, but come on now... Both do sound nasty though.
