I have a G19 and a PSA Dagger (same size) and the Dagger outshoots my Glock. I got the G48 (the same as a 43x, but slightly longer barrel with same frame) and I just received a Micro Dagger. I have not shot it yet, but it does feel better in the hand than the Glock. And I got my Micro Dagger with the Holosun red dot as a package for $499, same price as my G48 MOS with no dot. And I had to use PSA's warranty because my first dagger kept jamming. It was fantastic. I called them and told them what it was doing and they told me they would send a brand new one as soon as I got them mine back and sent me a shipping label. My new Dagger has not jammed once. Great review guys.

Other reviewers have said the same thing about the recoil and grip. It's nice to hear that reiterated.

Honestly when it comes to the price point alone, the Dagger wins. Really hope PSA and Shadow Systems gives Glock the in the pants they desperately need.

I mean other than price what is better about the dagger. And the other brand is just a clone with new parts that you pay for

Funny how I found your site just about 45 minutes after shooting both guns on the range for 2 hours. For me, it's the Micro Dagger all day. However, don't disparage the quality of the 43x MOS a great shooter.

107 Subscribers?😮 Guys! You did a great job! Having these weapons I can candidly say that you guys nailed it!!! BTW, I like Glocks alot but the truth is the truth as we see it. Yep, I subscribed! Just be careful with belaboring a point and being repetitive at times. I stayed til the end so I considered the constructive criticism a minor point really. Keep it up guys!!!!💪🏼👏🏻

Great comparison. I agree that the Micro Dagger has less felt recoil. The Micro Dagger was definitely worth the wait. Just subscribed to your channel. Cant wait for more comparisons. Canik Mete Mc9 vs Micro Dagger comparison 👀

I own 2 daggers with threaded barrels. One with the 19 size grip frame and the other with the 17 size grip frame. Far better gun than the glock, in my opinion.

The glock has better metallurgy, and softer polymer absorbs recoil. Also, the glocks frame and finish are better. The micro dagger is good, but the glock is of higher quality. Reinforced polymer is more brittle and will crack quickly.

Good video PSA does great value offerings. My micro dagger comp fits in a generic glock 43x mos/glock 48 mos bravo concealment iwb holster. Go for a trigger upgrade that would be interesting.

Alot of people don't know that on some of the GLOCK MAGS. (Polymer covered) that the Polymer swells outward & causes a poor Ejection or Have to be pulled out

Really nice practical comparison with good information. Did the Dagger prefer a certain bullet weight if you used different ones in your testing? For me, the high capacity 15 round magazine is a big selling point for a relatively small, concealed-carry gun. I hope the reliability is there like competing guns.

    • @ChamberOneTactical
      @ChamberOneTactical  7 місяців тому +2

We tested both 124 and 115 and the gun has been 100% reliable through that testing. It has over 1000 rounds through it at this point. I did clean it after the first 200 to 250 rounds but it has not been cleaned since then.

The wing on the vickers mag release is sticking to far out into the mag. Forcing the round out and engaging the slide. They may have sent you a glock 19 release.

I went with the 43x. I live in a restricted state but im able to purchase guns bc Im LEO. PSA wont ship to me unless i jump through a bunch of hoops and get a signed letter from my Chief. I find it ironic bc they quote the 2nd Amendment on their home page.

Nice video. Glad to hear about the grip difference between Dagger vs 43X. My 43X hurt my hands after a few mags, so I sold it . Noticed PSA is selling a ton of their Micro Dagger pistols, the price was right, so I have one on its way to my FFL. Hopefully it will run reliably. Bummed I had to spend extra money for two additional magazines. Good luck with your channel. Liked and subscribed.

I tried to leave a review on the PSA website for the product... surprise surprise it would not publish. Seems PSA only allows 4-5 star reviews to post. DAGGER MICRO C-1
-Failures to extract, light primer strikes, broken guide rod, Glock OEM parts did not save the gun

The following is not what I want to write. I have been a fan of PSA for several years and have enjoyed their products. I typically have mostly ignored the negative talk about PSA at various gun stores/ranges. My personal experience with PSA up until now has been good and I have had other ‘reputable’ brands fail (I have a Geissele barrel currently out of spec being worked on).
Similar pistols I own: older silver slide G48, G43x, G48 MOS, CR920, CR920 Elite. For EDC I usually carry the G43x slide on either the Glock MOS lower (with Sheild Arms Gen 2 mags & mag catch) or CR920 lower, Surefire XSC on both.
I tested this gun over 5 range trips, around 800 rounds of Winchester White box. The lower itself appears to function and was tested with 48/43x/CR920 uppers without problems. The Dagger Micro C-1 upper produced the same problems on all lowers. The other guns ran great with the same ammo, et cetera. I had no issues with the 1x PSA mag. The compensation on the C-1 is noticeable and I did like how it felt.
1st range trip (straight out of the box) & 2nd Range trip (cleaned and lubed), 100+ rounds each trip, same results. Tested with 8x Glock OEM mags and the 1x PSA mag… a pistol should come with no less than 2x mags. I had multiple light primer strikes and failures to extract.
3rd Range trip (cleaned and copious lube). 100+ rounds. Started off with the same problems with stock configuration. I changed the upper parts out to Glock OEM and also tested it with an ISMI 15lb recoil spring/guide rod, Glock OEM guide rod, and Faxon barrel. The barrel and guide rods appeared to make no difference, however after putting in the Glock OEM upper parts I had less problems. The first couple mags with Glock OEM parts produced no failures to extract, but had a few light primer strikes. Then ran without issue for around 50 rounds.
4th Range Trip. Added a Tangodown/Vickers steel mag catch to try Sheild arms Gen 2/3 mags (I have 10x 15rd + 2x 20rd Gen 2 and 2x 15rd Gen 3) . 300+rds. This change resulted in occasional failures to feed- this is NOT counted against this firearm as this is an aftermarket change and is similiar to my experiance with Sheild mags in my older silver slide G48. The upper unfortunately produced the same issues it had been with both PSA parts and Glock parts. The issues with Glock parts again were noticeably less frequent, but still present. I did notice failure to go into battery with the ISMI 15lb spring the couple mags I used it.
5th Range trip… until this trip the gun was going to receive a 2-3 star review. The PSA mag catch was added back in and the gun cleaned and lubed, 8x OEM Glock mags and 1x PSA mag used. Started again with PSA upper parts in the gun, same issues. Switch to Glock parts (used PSA barrel and guide rod), almost made it through about 50 rounds without issue… last round of the last mag the PSA guide rode broke.
