I thought about doing a thigh lift. But after watching your video. I think I will stick to exercise and give up wearing shorts. I look better in tights. Its not the scar. It's the after healing that scares me. Thanks for the video
I've almost lost 100 lbs. I have loose skin. I'm currently exercising and trying to get in great shape. Then I plan to have a 360. The scar problem is solved for me. I plan to get pastel tattoos to cover those scars. That may not be for everyone but it works for me.

Unfortuatly once you get over the age of 55 it’s really hard to get to the gym, run etc without a ligament injury. I would love to go out and run 6 miles (and can easily do this) but there is 100% chance that my knee will go into great pain for months right after. Swimming is the only safe sport and doesn’t really take off much fat.

I lost 250 pounds through diet and exercise. I have a lot of extra skin in my thighs. I would absolutely love to get the surgery scar, be darned. I had to have a panniculectomy two years ago because of issues that it was causing that now my thigh skin is causing. I’m gonna need a miracle to get my insurance company to cover it though even though I’m in pain constantly.
Can you combine a thigh lift with a tummy tuck, breast lift and lipo? Considering what you said about not being able to lay down and needing to hunch over for a while with a tummy tuck…. And when I ask about having all these procedures at once meaning 2 doctors tag teaming, one doing thigh lift and the other doing the upper body.
Hi Adrian, yes, you can combine a thigh lift with a tummy tuck (and other surgeries) but as you noted there will be some extra considerations for recovery. If you have adequate post op help it can be done! Thanks for watching!
Hi Holly, there really isn't a set number of procedures that indicates a surgeon's proficiency at a given surgery. I would look at their overall surgical portfolio in addition to the number of specific surgeries to determine if they are a good fit for your surgery. A highly skilled surgeon should be able to customize a surgery to your body and needs even if it not a surgery they do super often.

No, not married, but we have been working together for 16+ years :) I think you're asking how to prepare for a consultation with a surgeon who has performed 3 thigh lifts. That's a great question. I would recommend thoroughly reviewing before and after photos with your surgeon, discussing scar placement and expectations., go over pre and post op instructions, and bring a list of any questions you have about the surgery, recovery, etc. Hope that helps!

Hi Angel, in our experience, yes, the scar heals and fades well. It can take scars up to 1 year to fully mature and fade. Keep in mind that individual differences in scarring can affect outcomes from any procedure.

Are patients required to wear compression garments after the surgery?
