I am at a loss because I have lipodema fat on the top of my thighs and can't seem to get officially diagnosed or treatment and extra skin on the very inner thighs and outer thighs.
I’ve lost over 250 pounds and have had some Skin surgery however, I’ve not found a plastic surgeon that can address the excess skin on my legs and fat on my ankles. Any suggestions?
Thank you for this information. But can you go into some detail about the OUTER thigh. That's where my concern is. I've lost 40+ pounds. I am 61 years old and my outer upper thighs look like melting candle wax. Ewwww! I've seen Dr. K's thigh & but lift (amazing) but no one else seems to cover outer thighs

Weight training and general fitness are ALWAYS recommended before almost every plastic surgery procedure. Your cosmetic outcomes will always be better the more fit you are. Recovery will be easier. You'll heal better. Lower risks of infection. Nutrition and fitness are keys to success with this surgery for sure.
Removing any tissue will change your final weight, but it is usually not a significant change unless there is a significant amount of tissue being removed.
The cost is dependent on how long the procedure takes to do. People who are candidates for smaller thigh lifts (like the ones that only make incisions in the groin) generally pay less for those.

I would take a scare over saggy thighs..will be looking into this in 2023/2024
