So haunting and beautiful all at once. Amazing cover 🔥. Thank you
Eddie and Chris were my favorite singers from the 90's and all-time. Some claim Kurt was the voice of my generation, but I was always in Camp Chris and Camp Eddie. Chris is sorely missed.
Do Not forget Layne
Layne was the best by far...his unplugged performance is out of this world.
WHY eliminate ANY of that trio from the discussion??? -- They were ALL great, ALL distinctive in their OWN ways ...... They were ALL the voice of that GREAT generation of R&R -- Stop playing the dumb-ass GOAT game - Even throw Scott Weiland in there to the discussion. They ALL offered so much
Cobain only received that stature after He became a Mortal. PJ clearly took it to another level and would surfice to say are the Face of 90’s Music now looking back. Even though Cornell, Layne were the first to enjoy the fast lane (no pun) PJ really took off to another level with Their Live Performances especially Their Pink Pop live show!
Even with the line Eddie missed in this version, it is still my favorite version of Black.
Great band and great song and great era for rock and roll...I was at the Warning,Plush and holy wars show last night and seems to me the Women of rock are gonna be a force to behold in this new era for rock and roll and I am so there for it!! Lets Go!!!!
Thr best drummer they ever had
My fav band of all time. Love the 90s, my teenage years. Special time for music. Would love to hear your cover of "Black" one day.
I live 90 miles SE of SA!💜💜💜
Good memories. Eddie and the band poured their souls into it. Happy 10th.
You are gorgeous! Love your tats! I always get the gooseess listineng to Pearl Jam!
I heard this song the next morning at work, after the end of a very long relationship. I was in tears, there was absolutely no holding it back. "I know someday you'll have a beautiful life, I know you'll be a star in somebody else's sky, but why, why can't it be, oh can't it be mine?" Was the death nail.
Check out the music video of Jeremy the uncensored version
Nice!! I'm sober too. For 3 years.
Congrats! One day at a time :)
Great reaction, Nina. I think your next Pearl Jam reaction should be the song "Alive". Also, there is an unplugged version of "Alive".
Yes, he's 'sober', because he's never had a harmful issue with drugs or alcohol. Especially after the first few years of the band.
He’s definitely not sober
Hola Nina D 🙏Just discovered ur channel. Love you first solo record and Girl in a Coma. Haven't had a chance to listen to your most recent albums, but looking forward to now that I found u on spotify and bandcamp. Would love to hear you cover anything by Siouxsie & the Banshees. 🤟 Thanks 4 sharing your Awesome music and covers 🤘
great reaction! also, just listented to your cover and lordyyyyyyy that shook me. Started off sounding like Mazzy Star then plucked some tears from me towards the end. I much prefer your cover over everyone elses on youtube.
Girl in a Coma!!!
4:20. Seriously, me as well! I don’t know why. And this performance brings me tears! And I’m wondering if I missed out, and then I just listen to the stuff I always listen to. 😅🌸🌿🌺☘️🌼
Heartbreaking.. congratulations on the sobriety 🎉❤
Just watched for the first time and love your vibe! Eddie isn’t sober though. Drinks often. Not that it matters or is relevant to this vid but yeah. You’re awesome. Thanks!
Wait a second, weren't you the lead singer for Girl in a Coma? Holy shit, I just put that together. You have a beautiful voice. Cheerio.😀
Damn. Im sorry im late. Hi Nina!! Kurt(Nivana) Scott(Stp) Layne( Aic) Chris (soundgarden) all gone. Wasnt a huge fan of PJ. But he is all we got left from that era. Makes me sad. But i do like your reaction.
And Nirvana “plateau” or “the man who sold the world” from unplugged!!!!
love your channel!!!!!
Thanks! Tell your buddies too lets get everyone on the Nina train :)
Awesomeee! Please do ALICE IN CHAINS - DOWN IN A HOLE (unplugged)!
Eddy und Pearl Jam sind musikalische Giganten für immer! Gruß aus Schleswig-Holstein.
Eddie has a cold in this performance
For realz!? Damn he's good!
Blind Melon: Soup - would love your reaction to
Eddie Vedar almost didn't Do this performance done to he had the Flu but he pressed on with the show . Great job with your reaction to Black from Pearl JAM.The bass player did a great job with the background voices.
Their are Tricks to sing when sick...I thought that since he felt like death, he focuses entirely on his voice and did a Phenomenal job
Alice In Chains “Love Hate Love” at the Moore or their unplugged videos
I'm down the street in corpus christi
I’m a 30 year card carrying member of the Grunge Era! I was 16 in 1992 when I heard Evenflow for the first time. All of the Grunge bands did Unplugged and all of them are life changing. Unfortunately Eddie is the only front man left of those epic bands. Eddie is the only singer that can sing a sad song and look like he’s insane.
This is my favorite song ever. I love this Unplugged version so much but it's missing a verse. In one of the chorus verses he actually says "And now my bitter hands chafe beneath the clouds of what was everything, all the pictures have all been washed in black, tattooed everything."
Yes! and Eddie realized what he had done and gave a shake of his head like he was just saying "Let's move past it and keep going." He actually seemed a bit miffed at himself, too.
You should check out TAD. They were the original Grunge sound, along with Green River, Skin Yard/Gruntruck/Monadiesel.
TAD - Infrared Riding Hood
TAD - 8-Way Santa
TAD - Live Alien Broadcasts
Soundgarden - Beyond The Wheel (live)
Cool thanks for this suggestion :)
Eddie's not sober, he loves his red wine, even as he performs in concert.
Naw... Eddie's sober unless it's a concert. Wouldn't u do the same? He's all over Instagram, UA-cam with stuff. Nobody cares about TikTok, and the others. Worthless trash kids being stupid 😂
Awe shucks!
And his reefer. He’s OG. Even still smokes cigarettes. Idk how his voice isn’t destroyed. He still got it
Would love to hear you cover Why don’t you do right , the Jessica rabbit version. I bet you could kill it .
I wonder how you sound doing the Vocals to this song . Nina Diaz
Hey I'm not sure if you have reacted to this but Broken Window Seraned by Whiskey Myers is a great song.
If You Like Eddie & Chris Cornell Then You Have To a Reaction to Temple Of The Dog “Hunger Strike”
Nina Diza l hoping one day you do a reaction to Nothing Compares To U .& Hungry strike from Temple Of The Dog .
I really appreciate you
I'm a musician
I can't stop drinking
Lita Ford wanted me and I had an audition with Ozzy, I screwed everything up
I'm proud you are sobar, I can't stop drinking
It's horrible
I appreciate you sharing this, it's not easy to be vulnerable dude. Ya know one thing that stops healing is reliving missed opportunities or "mistakes", I know it sucks to play things over in your mind and wish you did something different. But all you can really do is try to do better ya know, and look at your family and friends for support if you wish to try something different with what time ya got left here. I'm here for you dude, one day at a time for realz.
Eddie sober? Haha hahah
Wait, WHAT, Nina?!!? -- You're surprised '90s GRUDGE, I mean GRUNGE era singers could be "cute" -- What you sayin' -- did the gene pool turn that far south in the 1960s or thereabouts? Well, got a little psychedelic - but maybe that was a GOOD thing judging from the last GREAT music era I know of circa 1990s GRUNGE - Pearl Jam, Soundgarten, Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots, Alice in Chains .... and a bunch of others around that nucleus
Do you think he does that when he eats a sandwich? Lmao
first time here, ur sandwich remark made me bust lol
You should make him way bigger and shrink yoor side
Sober? Nope, drinks red wine continuously through PJ shows
