Holy Guacamole, you weren't kidding on the pricey comment, BUT I do have to say that they've thought of everything. The inner tent was what blew me away. Plus I like the packability of the stove.
awesome tent. definitely not something for your average weekend warriors, but for those who do frequent camping trips and what not, this would be well worth the investment. Thanks for taking the test to show us, I know required some time and it's appreciated!
I assume they do NOT sell a"liner"....?? And I am guessing that at least the "inner tent" functions like having half a liner (with the netting tied back). I have looked hard at tentipi Safir 5 but the hot flue has to pass out thru the peak and needs a fabricated , pass thru protector (to get some dead air between flue and fabric)....the Safir is world class quality but 20 lbs and Nortent is 8 + lbs (one pack horse has to tote the entire camp ...so weight is critical ) ....am close to pulling the trigger appreciate your thoughts.
Great Review! .......But I am Curious why you didn't comment on the Stove Jack hole not being reinforced and looking so ragged. Did it come like that? Or was it a Mod gone bad?
Huh! How very interesting!!!! This stove appears to be being manufactured under several brand names. I'll have to compare pricing when they are supposed to become available this month. (all suppliers reporting same timeframe, so you know they are coming from one plant)
@ 4:50 I was a little surprised to see the stove jack's chimney hole look like it was chopped out with a hatchet LOL. Have you had any stove embers land on the rip-start tent and if so what were the results...holes??
Nice tent and stove. The tent would be getting its snow load test today up here. Probably six inches of snow already today. Thank you for the review, Ben
What are the odds that a spark burns the nylon tent fabric? I have never used one of these stoves so I personally feel like that is a risk here... thoughts?
Is this tipi better than the tentipi one?! I'm interested in a long lasting, strudy tent where you can live for a few years! I am planning to do that...
Nice review but for $4000 I think I'll price a 10'x25' roll of plastic sheeting and see if that will keep me warm with my wood stove made from a discarded propane bottle.
MI-TAC the pole broke because I tested to the breaking point. To be fair I also broke a pole on another tipi doing the same thing. I’ve also buckled tents with a heavy snow load. As with any piece of gear a little common sense and preventative measures are needed.
Ben good job ..I Made my gears I made a video it is on the ultra light gears ...please look at it ..it is for winter in Canada ...yes I got a try in snow it is ok for wind It is ok went you used the lines...but normally you do not need any rope lines ... It be under WINTER CAMPING IN A TEEPE MICHEL OFF GRID
Nice vid! What's your thoughts on Kifaru? I have a Sawtooth with medium stove however, I love the inner tent in there. Kinda regretting the Sawtooth now. Lol
A little over 500 for the tent isnt bad at all considering its rip stop. The one i have is about 350 but it unfortunetly is not rip stop. This might be worth lookong into. Thanks for the thorough review.
and ewery north europe have all peoples speak english too, school have ewerywere basic at english many year. and shop have contact person sure education more than basic school and speak english better than many london peoples newer, haha.
I'm a Native Chief . The way we test our TeePeez , is we fill em with as many Squaws as possible n have a good time!! If the TeePee is still standing in the morning , then its Good!!!!
Awesome tent, options & review. You've got me and my kids saving pennies for this. How has it held up? And have you thought about doing a one year review? Possibly showing it in use?
The stove looks great but it's 3,337 nok, (international shipping included) which today is equal to $433.85. I already own a Seek Outside medium box stove which assembles almost as easily. I also own a Kifaru 18 inch cylinder stove that I've modified using 4 Lite Outdoors titanium rods to secure the two end plates to the stove body. Those work fantastic. Both of those stoves together, along with the titanium rods, are about the cost of this one stove so I'll pass on the stove
Great presentation however! Your Titanium wood stove review has a blue border around the thumbnail, hiding your ratings. You should know that people are learning to avoid clickbait and if you are hiding your rating with these blue borders, we wont be clicking on the link. Too bad too, I was about to subscribe.
4000-6000 norway kronor, have only about 400-600 dollar./euro. expensive, i can orden real genuine 22ft teepee 2000$ money, and have sure better biggest strongest, beaty, usefully, lot better all.long term tenting.if need stove etc.
If you are going to review a product with a floor, then put the floor in and let us see what that is like, just because you don't like using floors doesn't mean the people watching your video feel the same. Incomplete review.
That is the WORST excuse for a stove pipe i have ever seen. JUNK. Not to forget possible death trap from fumes to leak out. And i'll bet you will not get much sleep with a little stove like that. The tent is not to bad, but the stove NEVER.
400-600$ wery expensive and not strong materials tent and stove, broken some trektime after. i buy if have 50-80$ but no newer 4-600$ one tent. no newer, idiot pay lot.
amazing product. the small packaging gives this such an edge.
Holy Guacamole, you weren't kidding on the pricey comment, BUT I do have to say that they've thought of everything. The inner tent was what blew me away. Plus I like the packability of the stove.
guacamole |ˌgwakəˈməʊli, -leɪ|
noun [ mass noun ]
a dish of mashed avocado mixed with chopped onion, tomatoes, chilli peppers, and seasoning.
YES, FINALLY THIS TENT IS GETTING THE SPOLIGHT IT DESERVES
Don’t think you missed anything. Great job. Thanks
Thanks for watching.
A tip about fast cooling down of the stove. I always try to find some flat stones and place them on/around the stove before going to sleep :-)
In Winter or around water those can be dangerous and explode.
awesome tent. definitely not something for your average weekend warriors, but for those who do frequent camping trips and what not, this would be well worth the investment.
Thanks for taking the test to show us, I know required some time and it's appreciated!
Stop Tempting Me! That whole system looks very nice! Thanks Ben!
sweetness! take the whole fam damily in this baby! very decent price stove too
Thats one of the biggest and nicest tipi's I've seen! Thanks for sharing Ben!
1st to watch the Entire video.
Love the ability to have an inside heat source for Canadian winters.
Thanks for the review of this product.

Make a center pole from wood for heavy snow.
That is an outstanding setup.
the tents can be seen from miles away. orange and gray? where is the green natural color?
Nice tent and stove. The tent would be getting its snow load test today up here. Probably six inches of snow already today. Thank you for the review, Ben
Outstanding video! That inner tent setup is super sweet!
Awesome video! This is just what I have been looking for! Thanks for sharing this and doing such a excellent review!
thanks Ted.
Excellent job with the review.
Oh the tent has my countys flag on it, Norway!!
nice review i agree these tents are the best available
Hi there left a comment on another video you did but wondering what the purpose is of an inner tent if you already have a mesh door on the outer tent?
Bathtub floor mostly.
What are the odds that a spark burns the nylon tent fabric? I have never used one of these stoves so I personally feel like that is a risk here... thoughts?
Good looking set up.
Nice video and impressive shelter. I really like my Luxe megahorn 3 shelter! What’s your opinion on that? Thanks in advance
Is this tipi better than the tentipi one?! I'm interested in a long lasting, strudy tent where you can live for a few years! I am planning to do that...
Impressive tent; outstanding presentation. Would love to see these tents made of canvas as well.
Did Nortent send you a new pole? would they do it for a regular customer? ... not just a UA-cam camping gear reviewer like you.
i have tried every stoves...not this one and it looks awesome.Even the tipi looks lie a good one, better than seekoutside!!
Nice tipi to be sure, thanks for the review Ben
Holy f*** I want one of these... I got to grow my channel and get the hookup. Amazing setup, I wouldn't even mind living in one of these.
What kind of weight tent stove inner tent floor and stove for the six man?
Nice review but for $4000 I think I'll price a 10'x25' roll of plastic sheeting and see if that will keep me warm with my wood stove made from a discarded propane bottle.
yes indeed.
Where can I buy this tent? No where online, I'm in the UK.
Does rain leak at the roof with the stove pipe in use?
when the tent collapsed, did you have the stove lit ? just wondering if it would have happened with a warm tent too. thanks for a great channel.
Good video! What camera are you using for this video?
Why don't you use the flooring for the tent if you don't mind my asking?
Personal preference. You could use something if you wanted.
What an excellent review, thank you
great setup
Followed link to nortent but can't read is there a link to an English site.
You can switch their site to English or go to Bens Backwoods dot com.
Now this i like
Will you be nice and tell me where I can buy this tipi tent?
Mayby in Europa? ;)...
Greting from Poland
Did you tried tentipi?
That’s a little much on the price does the stove and everything come with it. I think I will stick with the kifaru tipi
NOBODY WROTE FIRST.... Great vid Ben
Good review. It's too bad you broke the center pole, that makes me a little hesitant. Do they plan to upgrade the pole?
MI-TAC the pole broke because I tested to the breaking point. To be fair I also broke a pole on another tipi doing the same thing. I’ve also buckled tents with a heavy snow load. As with any piece of gear a little common sense and preventative measures are needed.
Great review as always
That, was a good video. Nice job.
Wondering how long it took to receive the tent and did you order direct from nortent site?
Bensbackwoods.com
Has a stove jack but said it collapsed under snow load…makes it worthless IMO
How much is the the teepee tent by itself nobody ever says the price
Click the link. It's not difficult. If you can't do that camping isn't for you.
Ben good job ..I Made my gears I made a video it is on the ultra light gears ...please look at it ..it is for winter in Canada ...yes I got a try in snow it is ok for wind

It be under WINTER CAMPING IN A TEEPE MICHEL OFF GRID
That stove seems a little clunky. Would rather have a bit more weight with nesting pipes. Dig the tent though. Good stuff.
Dillon check out my video on the GStove.
Looks good Ben when are we going to Ohio with Chris and will camping
William Fotey Was camping with Will this past weekend and headed out with him again next week. Upper Michigan.
Living Survival Ben that is great one day I have to catch up with you guys and bring some food from New York like the best pizza and bagels
Nice job...You might consider glove when working with the pipe though bud
For what you pay they should seam seal the tent . That's my one problem with this tent . for the price there are better tents like the klondike
Where did you buy it from? Site is in Nordic. Is There a US importer?
Bens backwoods dot com.

You won’t be disappointed
you can't have an open fire ?
Cool tipi ! & have ya ever gone camping up to the sleeping bear dunes area at all?
Todd Evans not in many years.
No Gillett. We haven't forgot
How do you talk to these people? Norway? How much? How to contact sales? Is the an american outlet? Thanks
there is an option on the site for selecting english :-)
and ewery north europe have all peoples speak english too, school have ewerywere basic at english many year. and shop have contact person sure education more than basic school and speak english better than many london peoples newer, haha.
I don’t understand the purpose of the inner tent. It’s just a screened in area inside the tipi. Not sure what you gain.
Mark Boheman you answered your own question.
Great tent Ben =)
Another great video review. You really go into details that other don’t. I will definitely have to check this out. Thanks! HouserOutdoors
I'm a Native Chief . The way we test our TeePeez , is we fill em with as many Squaws as possible n have a good time!! If the TeePee is still standing in the morning , then its Good!!!!
Wouldn't it smell like Sasquatch then ?
@craigbutler623 It will smell like 2 leggeds.
Awesome tent, options & review. You've got me and my kids saving pennies for this.

No way to the exhaust pipe system..
Made this near a murder of crows didn't ya..? 😎
Thats not a tipi, it's a tent. I'm sure it's nice as long as you don't mind replacing it every other year.
Sweet tipitent
$900.00 tent but looks bad ass lol good video . spendy tipi
4:45 did they hire only heroin-addicted mice to nibble out the stove jack cut-out or what?
I injured my back and I'm watching this video.. you made me laugh and hurt my back but I don't care...OMG my back lol
Ben I just bot that tent from China for
67.87$ plus I bot my self a cute small
Folding wood stove
Can you give me a link from where you bought it?
I'm interested too. Where did you get your tipi
Are you a bot? Lol. Ridiculous.
Spendy, but worth it for what you get.
That stove jack hole looked really cheap n scraggly for that price of hot tent.

I have no idea what you are talking about.
Man, you'd better throw the damper out of the stove, this is a detail from hundreds of accidents(
Much better hot tents usa made
USA sells Chinese made tents. Springbar is almost all china now
Don't like stove especially the pipe.
The pipe was crappy for sure
Seems like a RIP off of another brand.
@@dasimparmy2289 What other brand?
@@dasimparmy2289 John where are you from, I have a step brother somewhere in Idaho I have been looking for, for awhile
Looks a bit flimsy.
Damn ur fast
Go look at Kifaru way better
It costs $4,000?! Damn, I'd have to work a full year for that lil' thang(just exaggerating lol)
Jacob Sanchez not even close. All together about $1450.
Living Survival well done Ben.
I've got the full Tipi 6 as well.

So may peg down......
stove looks like crap compared to 'others' on the market i've seen for $100 less-
It's a TEEPEE.
