  • In a world full of gurus, “6 figure copywriters,” and “beginners” making “$5,000 in their first month!”... it’s easy to feel like the industry is chock full of people way better than you’ll ever be.
But the truth is that most of the people you’re hearing talk about their success don’t even write real copy - and the few that do are vastly outnumbered by the many, many people who have mediocre careers and just keep trucking along.
Today we’re talking about survivorship bias and how to gain a more realistic view of our industry!

    0.3% was rough!
It’s hard to be good at anything… and it takes time, effort and commitment. Sometimes we want to be good at something overnight and that’s just not possible for most people. There are geniuses, but they’re rare.

People who write blogs are content writers not copywriters. Copywriters are professionals who write sales copy. I don’t like when people use the terms interchangeably when they are two different titles with two different purposes

Blogs also helps to grab leads attention and ease the sales. Directly or indirectly, blog writers do help in sales as that of sales copywriters. So, don't you think it's fair enough to call blog writers as blog copywriters?

If i could buy (most) copywriters at what they're worth and sell them for what they think they're worth, i'd be a billionaire many times over.
    Issues I had with copywriters I've subcontracted👇
    a) Lacks critical thinking.
    b) No innate writing talents. Forget about storytelling.
    c) Not a reader. Never read a book in their lives.
    d) Mid humor and unwitty (probably unfunny irl)
    e) Don't know the architecture of persuasion
    f) Writes cluttered copy and struggles with creating open loops
    g) Turns social proof into a borefest or makes it unbelievavble and there's no in between.
    h) Ego. (double edge sword).

I thought Dating coaches in the past have "Game" back in college. When I grew up they are just great copywriters. 😂😂😂 The writing is so fucking good until you ask them about their RECEIPTS.

@@QuizmasterLaw Depends on who you are following. I think Red Pill is more dangerous mindset if you dont have moderation.
