Hi Alex, thanks for this amazing video! I'm Kim, writing all the way from Cape Town in South Africa. Thanks to this video, I have just discovered that I have been wearing my copywriter hat everywhere I go. I'm always the one who notices the attention-grabbing, compelling, and unique copy while driving, in malls, at a restaurant, or on a menu; whether it's a little brand story at the back of a packet of chips, a quirkly speech bubble on the front of a sweets packet, funny stickers at the back of someone's car, or even on the back of the detergent products. I often find myself laughing at the copy on some products and think "wow, now that's a skilled copywriter".
On point as usual Alex. Great concepts. Copywriting is everywhere, and if you keep your copywriting hat on, you'll surely see a variety of examples to learn from.
Hi Alex, I have been following you for the last couple of years but I was not focusing on copywriting seriously. But In 2022 I have decided to learn copywriting as a full-time career. Your channel is a gold mine for beginner copywriters. It is more than a paid course. I will go through your playlist to learn copywriting. I will see you in CopyPossy live course in the future...
Thank you for this video! My favorite way to learn is to be mindful of ads and campaigns and to watch/listen to instructional videos like yours, and since I set aside time to ride my stationary bike 30 min a day (could also work with walking) then I'm going to combine the two. Great stuff, can you guess who I'm gonna watch on my workout next? 😉
I’m gonna try to put these into use, sometimes I find writing daunting but I really wanna improve my skill in copywriting and I feel like this is approachable
Pure gold as always Alex! Thanks for sharing! I’ve been trying to think of copywriting exercises to do daily and this is just the inspiration I needed!

Just tried one of the exercises and got a question: when rewriting Headlines, is the idea to maintain the original message but turn it into a different design? I find it hard to switch up the target audience while maintaining the message, because if I switch up the target audience drasticalley, they might not even be interested in that topic
Exactly! You want to keep the maintain the message. Your audience doesn't have to be drastically different. Think of someone else who could also be a target audience for the headline. For example, if the headline is targeted towards men, you can practice targeting women or neither, etc! Hope this helps! Happy practicing! ⚡️

Hey! What a great video. It is good to get ideas of how I can practice effectively and efficiently. Being a newbie, however, I heard some terms here that I would like to know more about. Is there a video on that. For example: what is an open loop, and what does CTA stand for? Also, in anyone's opinion who answered this, what program would you recommend is the most bang for my buck? After watching these videos on UA-cam, I was thinking the write and ignite challenge, but should I go with the launch files instead?
Hey Laura! An open loop is any concept or idea which actually forces the brain to seek out some sort of conclusion. It's the same concept as a cliffhanger at the end of a tv show - makes you want to keep going to find out the rest! CTA = call to action. I do have a video where I break down Marketing lingo. You can find that here ➡️ ua-cam.com/video/38Gror9n094/v-deo.html And in terms of which program to go for, it really depends on your goals! All of my programs are great for beginners. Write & Ignite is a great option for those who don't have a big budget - in it, you will learn my sales page formula. Whereas The Launch Files is a much more comprehensive program and you learn so much more. In it, I teach you how to write an entire sale funnel - so that's ads, emails, sales pages, landing pages, etc.!
