    The fact that you kept sipping on a straw that was in a glass filled with nothing but grapes is hilarious. And then finally towards the end you had a Dunkin Donuts cup with something in it. Your sense of humor is something else and appreciated. Your girls have grown so much. And I wondered whatever happened with the 4U brand? I saw some influencers featuring the products when it first launched. But haven't seen anyone continuing to use the products. Maybe they could do a reformulation or something. Idk.

    This was really helpful thanks! There are so many products and a the labels seem similar (especially if you’re not educated in the chemistry behind hair products. It’s nice to hear a professional talk about what’s actually good what they don’t like and WHY. Oh, and as an aside people really be sleeping on Dove products I remember back in the day that their shampoo was one of the few shampoos and conditioners that really made my hair feel soft, moisturized, and manageable. And believe me my hair does not readily absorb moisture. I got to force it in there.😂 anyway thanks again! Peace & Love Everybody!

    Your channel turned me on to Creme of Nature products a few years ago. I recently started using the Curl Activator. It is what my hair has needed for a long time. I have 4C hair and it gives me lasting moisture, texture, and curls without the sticky goopy glycerin feel. I absolutely love Creme of Nature products. Thank you, thank you, thank you for introducing me to them. They're my favorite go to products now.

    I'm about 63. 3years ago I cut off my thigh length dread locs after 20yrs. I got a buzz cut. First year I did nothing. As my hair gew I started watching youtube. Watched you a lot and any video I could find on 4type hair. I brought LOTS of products and oils, butters, gels, clays etc. I also tried a few methods.
    I finally found that every product I brought works as long as I follow a simple regimen. And that is moisturizing and sealing a few times a week. I have a 4 a, b, and c hair. Fine strand, high porosity.
    In 3years I gotten my hair to grow to armpit length at 62years old.
    Washing (shampoo type don't matter)Moisturizing and sealing a few times a week. Also Keeping it in medium braids pulled up to protect ends of hair. Moisturizing and sealing those braids and co- washing or just water drenching the braids. Keeping it simple and hair is growing. I come from the old school of grease, hot combs, and relaxers. Always had not quite to the shoulder hair or shorter until locs. I figured if my loc hair grew so long why can't my loose hair. By keeping it simple my hair is growing. If I can do this at 62. Young girls who have years can do it more easy if they would just except their hair and keep the regimen simple.and realize it's gonna take a few years.

    Speaking of Black-owned products, I use the Swirly Curly hair line. The shampoo and conditioner are my favorite. I use the gel and styling cream also. They smell amazing too. But again, I like the shampoo and conditioner the best. Will you do a review on their products?

    Here's a question for a future video:
    What is your guidance regarding the use of steam flat irons and infrared heat styling tools on type 4 hair for consumer use? Are these features just hype or are they actually beneficial & worth the price to protect the hair?
    Thanks so much!

    ❤❤❤❤ FIRST I LOVE YOUR VIDEO'S 📹 WHEN I CAUGHT THEM UA-cam DONT POST THEM So Thank you Soo much for all the products l WISH YOU COULD HELP ME 😳 🙏 I have fine hair around my sizes and back of my head I have a little thicker and my middle but at the top middle of my hair is a whole different texture all together is Shaka Zulu Lol🤣😂😅and I am not playing😬 I think I have low porosity because in the front of my hair when I spray water in the bottle it stays on top and it runs down and l must use hot water 💧 with my refresh it just help the products come back alive for me the next day. When l used cold water 💧 you can tell a definitely a difference. However when it comes to my finer hair around my sides and back it stays in and I need to have a product that I don't have to use water to reactivate it everyday thats my MAIN PROBLEM 😮🙄and dont dries my hair out, my hair is colored but it's been 6 months I only get it colored twice a year and never on my scab so my products that I use:are the shea moisture line Jamaican black castor oil strengthening and restored shampoo and conditioner now this line but l mainly use the shampoo more than use the red words line its better for me, however the intention hydration hair masque is not for me Nooooooo 🙅‍♀️ and l dont know why l have to use l one in the yellow line I mentioned at the beginning my go-to has always been the shea moisture strength and restore leave-in conditioner with shea butter, peppermint and apple cider vinegar am I two Staples is Kinky curly curling custard the original and Camille Rose curl maker but as you notice can be very expensive and they don't really have any sales ever going on it works for me however it dries out after two days I have to put a little bit in there and reset it and l hate that l can't find and thing that last. But my problem areas are my left side, and it won't grow l have to use 2 hair oils and each week or l switch up because one makes my hair grow long and the other one make my hair get thick of course you know one is Jamaican castor oil my little oil cost $10 and is not by the mango product castor oil and to me it works it just takes some time to see results but I would love to find something that I don't have to read wet my hair everyday also I mixed the two curling gels and I use very little. What I am going to try this new moose by Camille's line it's the orange color on it. Also unfortunately l have been going to my same hairdresser since l was 17, but she kept cutting ✂️ 💇‍♀️ my hair OFF when l do my hair 90%of the time WHEN SHE STRAIGHT IT, which is only 2 times a year. SHE SAY SHE TRYING TO MAKE IT EVEN BUT MY HAIR DONT GROW EVEN AND SINCE I WEAR MY HAIR MOST WASH AND GO ON COOL AIR TO DRY IT WHYYYYYYY ARE YOU DOING THAT EVERTIME I GROW IT SHE CUT 3 TO 4 INCHES OFF I EVEN GOT A VIDEOS OF HOW LONG IT WAS BEFORE I WENT SOOOO I'M DONE!!! 😠 😡 😤 JUST FOR MY COLOR THAT'S IT!!! PLEASSSSSSE HELP WITH ANY SUGGESTIONS

    @GetGlamFam May I ask you how do you refresh with the mousse? I noticed after 1 or 2 days my hair is more frizzy. Less defined and wild looking. How to preserve the curls better? I'm using The Doux Def mousse texture foam.

      How do you refresh Mousses and Foams?!

    • @GetGlamFam
      @GetGlamFam  7 місяців тому +1

      I personally use a mist of water, or steam, but the hair still fills out day by day with mousse. If you want an additional hold without the crunch of gel, coat with mousse first, then lightly layer a gel over top for some added hold. 😊😊

    • @thelovedoneinternational3213
      @thelovedoneinternational3213 7 місяців тому

      @@GetGlamFam Thank you so much for answering. 😊 I already mist it with rosewater or distilled water. But that makes my hair frizzy. I then follow up with applying more of the mousse again.

    👋🏽🙋🏾‍♀️ Hey sir. Single chronically sick mom that has absolutely no help. So, when I'm able to actually complete my baby's hair her friends ooh and ahh. When I'm able to completely deatengle and at least twist her hair, she loves it. But most times, so far, I'm not even to completely wash, condition and detangle and braid her hair. I know this case is unusual, but y'all, er'body! All suggestions are needed and welcome.
