    I know this video on hair porosity is extensive, and I hope sincerely that you don't feel overloaded or overwhelmed with information. I covered details for low porosity, medium or normal porosity, and high porosity, as well as what products help, what can alter your porosity, and the differences between natural porosity, mechanically induced porosity, and chemically induced porosity changes. As I stated in the beginning of the video, there was a lot to unpack!
    If you find this video to be helpful, please share it with a friend or family member you think would benefit from this information. Understanding and catering to the needs of your porosity impacts the hair in a positive way, allowing you to see hair growth, as well as length retention.
    Until next time, have an amazing day, take care, God bless, and stay glam!
    You know I love you boo,

    Porosity has always been the most confusing topic in the realm of natural hair. I got a hair analysis 3 years ago, and they told me that my hair was normal to high porosity. However, on the microscopic pics of my hair, my cuticles were closed tightly like low porosity hair. I’m gonna experiment with some of the tips you mentioned in this video and decide my porosity from there! Thank you!

      How to fix it

    • @kristinamoire
      @kristinamoire 3 роки тому +6

      @@saja2981 I don't think there is a way to fix it per se, it's more of working with it. When I shampoo my hair I use neutralizing shampoo for the first wash. My hair is silky and zero tangles no matter how much I manipulate it, then I do a second wash with regular shampoo to get it clean. I also use products that are PH balanced like Aphogee, take my time, keep the hair in one direction and make sure it's detangled (finger comb+ prayer hands method) before rinsing at every step. **Very important***
      Also helps to completely detangle my hair to the scalp before washing; spend a good 10-15 minutes combing it out beforehand. Hope that helps. Also, moisturize/seal regularly, wear a satin bonnet at night. Listen to your hair, love it, have passion for taking care of it💕

Started doing this about two years back and it really helped minimise breakage and decrease wash day time.

    It is difficult as hell to get moisture in my hair that even hair stylist often when get the manager or senior stylist to figure out what products to use to get moisture in my hair. I finally figured out how at home and what product will actually work on my hair. Too much water dries my hair out once it dries, I must use creams and butter and a daily leave in with certain ingredients like hibiscus and honey. My hair products cost MONEY, because they are home made by privately owned black business they make them by hand specifically for our hair. I have fierce 4 c d e hair 🤣. People stare at my hair cause they can't believe how thick it is and some sneak and touch it cause they say it look so soft and so thick and I warn them to never ever touch my hair without permission. I must sleep with a silk scarf on or hair is best up dry old wool when I wake up. 🤣 Paul mitchell is the bomb! I get my hair clarified every two months cause too much water I know as fact actually dries you out.
