I haven’t tried the protein treatment yet, the curl cream is nice, the gel flakes on me every time I use it, so it’s my least fave in the line so far.

I love love love your videos. I have tightly coiled hair and it also looks a lot thicker to the naked eye. I’ve also experienced extreme shedding likely due to stress since all of my labs have come back normal and I’ve had a lot of personal and work issues over the last 6 months.. mental health effects so much. ❤

Just finished watching the whole video! I have a question! Is it best to wash your hair in the shower versus bending over a sink? I usually wash my hair in a Clean kitchen sink! I notice my hair tangles more that way; less in the shower! Like to hear your thoughts😊
@cherylfisher14 a lot of times it’s easier to keep the hair smooth in the shower, whereas in the sink it’s easier to pile hair on top of your head (doing so and then scrubbing causes a lot of issues with tangling, so I suspect that is what the issue is) I hope that helps!

I couldn't find anywhere where you address hair of older womem. I am 75, 4C hair. I wore a TWA (1/2 inch) for 53 years and in August of 2023, I decided to grow my hair. It is about 6 inches long now, but I noticed that is is very fine. I suspect that it is age related. I recently started taking collagen and MSM. I do all the dietary and water stuff. I purchased the Giovanni 2chic shampoo and conditioner/mask at your suggestion and I like it very much. Can you please do videos on hair for us older women. We are out here. I put castor oil on it, but am wondering if it is too heavy for me. At this stage I don't know if it is safe to use everything the younger folks are using. I don't trust hair stylists out here (present company excepted). My mother was a hairdresser back in the day. I relaxed my hair until I was 19 and have been natural ever since...no relaxer, no extentions, no color, just me. HELP! OLDER WOMEN PLAYLIST REQUESTED. Oh, BTW, my temples are receding. Age??? I learned something. You are supposed to put the mousse in your hair wet. Dont laugh. I didn't know that. I thought it was for laying your hair down for ponytails.
Do you air dry? I couldn't put the mousse, gel, or whatever in my hair and let it dry. It would be 2 to 3 days.
Don't laugh. Cause i have fine hair, but she is thick. I do the early snoop dogg method. Braids or ponytails to let the scalp dry first. Then, the ends will dry faster. I don't use heat, ever. I'm going to try the mousse like you did yours. 😅 At least you see your scalp. i dont see my scalp.
I wish I didn’t see my scalp! Lol I would kill for some density. Yes, I let my hair air dry because it’s fine and I don’t have a ton of density.

Question, you use products for curly hair. Will these products work for wavy hair as well. I can't find anything for wavy hair that works like the curly hair products except grease and water.
How do you feel about Cecred hair products? One of the founders is Beyonce; while I love her, I have worked hard (with your helpful videos) to get my daughter's and my natural 4c hair healthy and full. Hi, I have a mixed daughter and my white friend who is a hairdresser whom also has amixed daughter gave my girl a serious needed haircut. My child came home with hydrated hair that has been soft and moist for 3 days now. No products I have used has made her hair this hydrated in ages. The products she used are Kevin Murphy conditioner and R+Co Waterfalls. Can you do a comparison of these two brands with more afforadable products that have the same effect and share?

Should you use a clarifying shampoo after every swim, if you swim three times a week?
Honestly, no. I would still shampoo with a mild hydrating shampoo like keracares hydrating detangling shampoo, and of course condition with hydration as well.
Then at the end of the week, I would clarify once.

Hi Linwood! I really hope this is received well, but have you checked your iron and vitamin D levels? I'm asking because my hair fell out in that same pattern and I had to get iron infusions.
I haven’t had my levels checked since my prostate scare 2 years ago. Anxiety has been a huge issue, which thankfully is starting to balance out. I do need to do my annual physical and all that though.

The "it's not clean unless you feel bubbles" is absolutely the way to go I told my daughter this at a very young age it's crazy that you are still out here having to educate grown adults how to clean their hair because I have met people who got some cough cough musty hair and you're just like oh how are you did you wash your hair lately and you work with them and so you're not trying to be mean but they stink their heads stinks like old skin😂😂😂😂 it's just like they have personal oils that they're not washing out it's not necessarily that they have stinky personality they're just not like washing those old oils out that they need to be washing off their body and like even there are portions of the Bible that say that you need to rinse your body daily in clean Waters meaning Waters that will take the oils away from your body you don't have to be completely stripped of all oils but just to be healthier and all those things are not necessarily religious they're just normal human cleanliness I don't know I'm not a religious person at all but I know that in religions they say that you should be cleanly and I follow that at least because I feel like I should be friendly I don't know I love everything that you share with people I'm a little awkward I do that I'm autistic it happens you have very much helped me and my family take care of me and others so thank you
