Hello Lady! first of all, I started writing this and then saw your comment on the cammie reaction, so I have to say 1) I'm in love with you 2 ) I totally feel what you said about this couple being a breath of fresh air. I have not felt this way since the first lgbt couple on tv that helped me realize my sexuality (naomily for reference). I have been an out lesbian for 7 years of my life, and I cannot describe what this story makes me feel. I am mexican, and I live in the US now, and I see how "normalized" being gay is over here, and it still doesnt take away from this amazing story of soulmates. I really think this is the correct way of making a reaction video. You didn't have all the facts obviously since it was a reaction video, but you went out of your way to give this story and it's cultural context the respect it deserves. Thank you
Hey! Just trawling through some Juliantina reactions and found yours. Just a note because it seems you only watched the scenes with Juliantina in it. They did not find each other and fall for each other randomly. There was this whole plot with the Carvajals and the Valdes family where basically, Val's father and Juliana's fathers souls swapped bodies in a 3 way swap with another man (professor I believe, he wasn't mentioned afterwards no idea what happened to his soul). Juliana was daughter of a huge Mexican hitman El Chino, Leon Carvajal was a business man and incredibly rich. Anyways, there's a fortune teller involved as well and Death, a lady who is the grim reaper. Long story short, the fathers swapped bodies so that Juliantina could meet and fall in love and both death and the fortune teller lady basically reiterate that no matter what, Juliantina are soulmates, literal soulmates. So they weren't some chance meeting and falling from friends to lovers, they were predestined soulmates, the full het treatment but Gay^tm.
Erin Epp ahh I see thank you! I was aware of the father swap storyline and how that tied their personal lives together - didn’t know about the fortune teller though so thanks! I stick by what I say in terms of them not knowing they were gay before meeting and realising their love for each other , just because it made sense as a clearer way of explaining sexuality to audiences that are parents (that may not understand being gay) 😊

Hi love ur video I’m glad u love #Juliantina as much as I do 😍and as u said this is such a huge step for Mexico as sadly they are still a little behind with this stuff but they are making history with being the first gay couple on a Mexican novela from Televisa and the story was so beautiful it won my heart lol also another thing I love about juliantina is the actresses they have so much chemistry together and a good connection that they became really good friends :) they are so sweet and give so much love to the fandom and love the ship as much as we do ❤️ Sadly the telenovela ended already but the producer of the show said he will do what he can for us to have a spin off or maybe a second season but said they just need support hopefully we get that spin off and get more juliantina the fandom made a petition going on if you would love to sign it :) Btw u pronounced macarenas last name good haha

I think the UA-cam account allthelilies have the scenes with subs in a Dropbox link. And everything you said at the beginning is what Macarena Achaga is always saying about Juliantina that is a love story not a gay story specifically, two friends falling in love.
