An incredibly and unusually positive story of two guys falling in love. No trauma of bullying, just complete acceptance and sincere love. I am a high school teacher in New Zealand and I intend to show this to my students. Those hidden in my classroom who feel afraid of who they know they are, just may realise that happiness is for everyone, no matter who you fall in love with!
Hello James in New Zealand. It is refreshing to hear a teacher that understands the value of acceptance and love being shown through entertainment. As one-time high school students ourselves... we know the importance of having supportive teachers and faculty as well as stories that reflect our own identity. Thank you for your support of our project... and of your students. All the best to you!!!!
YES!!... Im also in NZ, Im in my 30s now, and I would have loved to see something like this when I Was at school... I couldnt even take my BF to the school Ball, my friend had to take him as her date (which Im grateful she did).... you are the teacher LGBT+ kids need.
Portray the future you wish to see… not the reality of the past. Here is hoping we see more acceptance and stories that reflect such. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment.
The dialogue was well written and the actors were so adorable. I love that this was just a normal teen love story, without any homophobia for drama or other unnecessary negativity. I want to envision a world where it's just a normal amount of awkward for one boy to express a romantic interest in another boy, the same as it would be for anyone to express affection for someone they like. This story was a great example of the kind of world we can create if we keep fighting for love and acceptance.
Thank you for your comments. We appreciate you watching. We definitely strive to show a strong gay relationship built on the innocence of first love. So much more of their story to tell that delves deeper… and beyond just our two central characters… keep an eye out for future news on the series currently in development.
You have expressed a marvelous, magnificent vision for the futurem and thet phrase "just a normal amount of awkward" is a brilliant verbal construction.
I like how Conner went straight to the point and told Jayden he wants him to be his boyfriend he knew what he wanted from the moment he walked into that cooking class and how he ensured him that he doesn't care about what people will say when he told him he can't wait to see how people will react if they went to prom together it such a beautiful story I cried tears of Joy 😭
The invitation for watching Movie on a Saturday Night conversation was so beautiful and hilarious 😂😂And boom he finally told him: You are worst than a girl😭😂😂😂
This was adorable and refreshing! No bullying, suicide and tragedies. This is what our lgbtq+ youth needs! Thank you for your work cast & crew!!! This has potential for a feature film. Looking forward to seeing more of your work! ❤️
Beautiful love story. Conner loved being with girls but fell in love with a guy. The best part of it, he wasn't ashamed to admit it from the beginning. Didn't even try to hide it. He made the first, second and third move. Love is Love is Love. A very well told short story. Wish it was longer.
That's because he was brought up to believe that gay isn't wrong... Those who teach their children that gay is a sin are in fact what they preach... Disgusting brain washing and the amount of trauma they endure for many years... Just because a book written by man thousands of years ago said so doesn't make it heavenly law... I mean sure there might be some truths inside but hate shouldn't be one of them... Live and let love be is what I say because God created love for all
@@xxkarlosxxxxxx7233 There is a HOMOSEXUAL LOVE story in the Bible between Jonathan and David. It's all unfolded in 1st and 2nd Samuel! Most Fundamentalist Christians either don't want to look at this or they label it "brotherly love". Never mind they Kissed many times and if you look up the original Hebrew which gives the specific kind of kiss it was you find out it was the Passionate Kiss between Lovers...open mouth to open mouth! The same word used in the extremely sensual book in the Bible called the Song of Solomon.
This was so sweet and very well done. I met my first boyfriend in high school, he was on the baseball team and everybody was shocked to see him out on a date with another guy ( me ). Nobody said anything and nobody cared that we were a gay couple.
Thanks for watching. Happy you enjoyed... and thank you for sharing your personal story. Sounds like progress that no one cared. Hope to hear more stories like this!
@@harborheightsentertainment4525 ... please make more of these short stories. They can and do help people learn to accept people who are different from themselves.
My first Beloved and I lived in a time and place when we were not permitted to admit we were a couple. I am glad your experience has been different. Everyone should have been glad that two people found Love; what their genders are is no more important than what they ate for breakfast.
Really happy to hear you all are liking the hair toss/flip/touch. It is a sign of comfort and intimacy. Those small touches matter in real life and in cinema.
Everything is about politics, it's not just about some entitled and corrupt elitists. When we want to create a better future for everybody on the planet, we need to start reshaping the present.
These two have rare onscreen chemistry and the soundtrack is fantastic. Plus kudos to whomever came up with the whole "Corinthian Columns of Light" scene design. Beautiful!
Hi David- Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. The lights are our favorite as well. Beautiful art installation that translates nicely for film.
@@harborheightsentertainment4525 good choice filming at night, during the days there’s always lots of people and security lol but also the construction would have made it impossible for a daytime shoot
The authenticity of this film is at 110%. I have watched it a gazilllion times, and it never stales . . . and I am very particular as to what I watch. One of its utmost moments of perfect, human authenticity is when, while standing in the car because they did not go to the movies, Connor asks Jayden "Is that what you want?" Jayden says, "No," but it sounds like it comes from the back of his throat; which, in my experience, is where we speak from when we get that lump from strong emotion. That is just one example of the vital (and, at times, vivacious) authenticity the actors (and, I am sure, the director) summon to this story. It could have been told superficially; it could have been told in a tawdry way; but it was told, enacted, and dialogued in the most humane way possible. Jayden and Connor could have gone to my high school---they are **that** authentic. I have been reading Poetry for half a century as of last year, so I think I have some credibility when I say that this video is more than a short film, it is more than just a message about Love: instead, it is a living Poem.
Cheerfully simplistic. No conflicts or problems for the former star football player to be openly gay in high school. No parents, no student reactions. Just go to a movie on Saturday, and follow that with more scenes of just the two of them. Love is so sweet--or saccharin.
Sometimes the innocence of first love is lost in typical gay film/tv entertainment. We hope Connor & Jayden symbolize the fact that gay relationships are sometimes not terribly different from straight relationships. Not to say that they are free of drama or issues… but the issues are not between them… it’s when the outside world creeps in with judgement or discrimination.
I am not 60 yet, but I am definitely an old gay man. I was at 35,45, and 55. This is romantic because it is just a simple story that is honest and cute. No parents, no bullies, no one who gets in the ay of their romance.
Thank you for expressing this for many of us. I wish my adolescence had happened in a place and time where this kind of relationship (and not the repression, bullying, and assaults) had been the norm; but this film gives me hope that it will someday soon be the norm, and couples---lovers---will not be judged for the gender, but celebrated for the beauty of their love.
The dark and depressing stories exist indeed… but so do the happy ones. We need more of the happy endings… both in art and in real life. Glad you enjoyed and agreed with the premise.
Totally blown away, im a 67 year old heterosexual woman who's husband was brutally attacked and later died, there is so much bigotry in this world and short films like this should be shown in all schools so that no matter peoples sexual orientation we can be free to love and have this love respected by others. Keep loving everyone.
Im so sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing such a personal story. Hopefully it can serve as a reminder for others how hate and bigotry can impact lives. We appreciate you watching Connor & Jayden… and share your sentiment that we need more positivity snd love in this world. All the best to you!
Ok, I was so expecting all the cliché jock crap, bullying first, the class mates picking, fights etc. Then BOOM 💥 nothing but sweetness, and a blossoming love story that was nicely and tastefully done. Nice!!
It is kind of sad, isn't it? ... That we are conditioned in modern gay film/tv stories to expect the worst. Yes, bad stuff does exist... but that doesn't mean that every story has to be THAT story. There are plenty of good, real gay stories of love, acceptance, friendship and family.. and they diverse a light to be shined on them as well.
Wish this was longer, although the writer behind this story did an incredible job at presenting a great love story with alot of detail in short version, i still feel the impact of their love for eachother & their true happiness ❤
The film's last shot, the graffiti heart with their names in it becoming colorized to the rainbow is an incredibly brilliant way to conclude this film. It is subtle without being "cute," and effective without being forced or tawdry. It is, really, the last proof, and a very powerful proof, of the film's authenticity.
@@harborheightsentertainment4525 No film that I can remember has affected me in the ways that this one has. Maybe David Lean's Doctor Zhivago comes close, and I have been familiar with it longer, but it is still just a close second to Connor and Jayden. And I thank you most gratefully for allowing me to express my thoughts about it so often. I wish a film like this had existed when I was young---it would have made my life a little easier than it was, it would have encouraged me to embrace, and not to suppress, my given nature. But I am very glad that I have lived long enough to see this magnificent accomplishment, and to enjoy it. Just as one can never tire of seeing the stars in their full grandeur at night, so the constellation you have made of Connor and Jayden never grows tiresome or stale, no matter how many times I view it.
Your sentiments are greatly appreciated... and your thoughts on wishing you had a story like this in your youth is the very driving factor behind this short and the series. As always.. we thank you for your unwavering support and encouragement. It is not unnoticed!!!
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched and rewatched this film. It’s brilliant and funny and yes, a lil cringe at times. But “You lost that game” “I broke my leg” “you still lost” “don’t be a D***” is an underrated line it’s funny and brilliant
I hope when you guys wake up in the morning and look into the mirror, you see a reflection of angels. You are so talented. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! You made many people cry with this video. You will remember this film the rest of your life. Enjoy your youth!
This is such an adorable little film and told so well that it left me feeling all warm and fuzzy. I don't recall seeing an American gay story quite like this one but it's so refreshing. The two boys are perfectly cast, one a handsome jock and the other a cute gay boy. I love how it all plays out, from a chance meeting in class to a tentative getting to know each other, then as one little incident follows another, suddenly they're kissing and before you know it, they're going to the prom together. No drama, no homophobia, just a sweet love story. Even better, we'll have more of Connor and Jayden in a forthcoming 8-part series. I'm sure it will be a great success.
@@harborheightsentertainment4525 please do share more of their story soon and warm and fuzzy is truly the best way to describe the feeling watching this whole short film. truly so precious & the chemistry is off the charts with the actors🥹
Thanks for the encouragement Alexandra!!!! We are working on it and hope to share more details soon. It's never as fast as we want it to be... but we want it to be spectacular in the series format.

I wrote a reply to a comment on _Conner and Jayden: Cast Interview_ and decided to write my own comment here. Part of my reply was the fact that this movie, _Connor and Jayden: The Story of Us,_ and those like it are very important, not only to the LGBTQ community, but to society in general. This is a light-hearted movie that portrays gays as being people being accepted as opposed to individuals to be avoided at all costs. I feel that this movie and others like it can put at least a partial control on homophobic bigotry. I realize that there are forms of bigotry against other sectors of society such as Jews and people of certain non-white races. I don’t understand any of it. These sectors of society pose no threat to anyone. So, _Connor and Jayden: The Story of Us_ is truly an excellent short movie and I want to take this opportunity to thank and commend Harbor Heights Entertainment for making it. I would really like to see this expanded to a full length movie and be made available on DVD. I would love to have it in my collection. From what I have read, there is a series of based upon this movie that will be produced. I read this with some trepidation since there was an excellent full length LGBTQ movie made in the area of Portland, Oregon, in 2017 named _More Than Only_ which was also followed by a series of short films. None of the short films in the series exhibited the excellence inherent of _More Than Only_ and they nearly obliterated my feelings towards the movie. (A lot of the material on which the plots were focused involved the two main characters, Justin and Michael, undergoing psychological problems.) I am hopeful that the series based upon _Connor and Jayden: The Story of Us_ will have the same qualities and characteristics of the original short movie As with some of the others writing comments, I am an older gay person who grew up in a time where expressing gay love meant putting you reputation (and safety) on the line and it simply was not done. When I was a junior at Oregon State University in 1977 majoring in chemistry, I met the only guy with whom I fell in love. I had boyhood crushes on guys starting in the fifth grade, but Steve was easily well beyond just being a crush. (My name is also Steve.) We had the same tastes in music, movies, and humor. He was a cute Italian with beautiful brown eyes. I really wanted to tell him that I was in love with him but this simply was not done at OSU in the late seventies. We always ate together in the dorm cafeteria, go out to eat together, go for long drives through the Willamette Valley, went hiking, went to the beach, and took long walks. With all of this, I still could not tell him how I felt. It was a goo thing, too, (I thought) since he ended up having a girlfriend named Geri. This, of course, broke my heart. We were always close friends until he graduated in business in 1981 while I was in graduate school. I never saw him again. In 2010, out of curiosity I entered his name and home town (San Rafael, California) on Google and I found out two important things. First, Steve was involved in gay pride parades in San Francisco. I was astounded - he was actually gay and his relationship with is “girlfriend” Geri was merely a decoy to make sure that people didn’t think that he was gay. Measures such as this were often taken at that time to hide homosexuality. If my gaydar were as developed in 1977 as it is now I could have easily seen through his disguise. I immediately planned to contact him, if possible, to tell him of my feelings thirty years earlier. Then I found his name on another website which listed obituaries of AIDS victims in Marin County, California. I found out that Steve died on 13 April 1992 from pneumonia as a result of having AIDS. I am glad that the world now is a little more like what is portrayed in _Connor and Jayden: The Story of Us._ I ask Harbor Heights Entertainment to keep us their excellent work. If Steve and I could have watched movies such as this together back when we were in college, things might have turned out quite differently. It is important for everyone to realize that some people find love only once. Believe me, I know!
Beyond grateful for not only your support… but taking the time to share your story. All generations do their best to pay it forward and we wouldn’t even be able to consider a film or series such as Connor & Jayden if it were not for the social acceptance fought by others. While it is very sad to hear that a happy ending didn’t come to your story with Steve… hopefully you have fond memories of the time you shared in college. Thank you again for sharing your story and being an enthusiastic follow of Connor & Jayden.
I think I need an intervention...I have watched this just now for the 47th time since I first watched it about 3 weeks ago...SPOILER ALERT......Is it the charming and witty dialogue and storyline, the beautifully directed and photographed scenes or is it the compelling acting by the very, very easy on the eyes leading actors or maybe it's that glorious happy ending?...or possibly, it's all of them combined!!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE this soooo much! Their chemistry is off the roof! No unnecessary dramas, no discrimination, no hate, no villains conspiring against them, no homophobia, just LOVE! Please we need more of these stories! ♥
So happy to hear you enjoyed Connor & Jayden. Just a simple high school love story. We look forward to the series where we can delve deeper into their lives as well as discover their family, friends and town they live in. Thanks for watching.
Wow… thank you for that accolade. We agree that more positive gay romantic stories are needed. We hope to contribute to that with more Connor & Jayden in the future. Stay tuned for more details .
I loved the strength of the Jayden character. The anti-stereotype of him fixing Connor's macho vehicle was obviously intended to give the lie to the stereotype, but necessary and believable. What was not so obvious was his control of the first conversation in the parking lot and insisting on writing his address on Connor's arm. We get some foreshadowing of what is to come when Connor asks Jayden how he knew he was gay. No one asks that question just out of curiosity. Are you gay, yes, but how did you know? No. Nice reciprocal surprise: the first man to man kiss was the first for both, not just Connor, which came as a surprise to Connor, and Connor didn't want just a one-night stand, which is what Jayden expected. When Connor asks Jayden if he wants it to be a one-time thing, Jayden's delivery of "No" is perfect. I gasped! Just exactly the right crack in the voice. I wonder if that took a bunch of takes. the awkwardness they portrayed in that scene waiting for the train to pass was authentic. That's exactly they way it is the first time you fall in love. You don't quite believe it. You don't know how to go forward. You just know. The acting was excellent throughout. I love the music and the "My Only" song. Fantastic lyrics. The film is a very strong affirmation of honestly following your heart and mind in matters of love. Thank you. PS: The Camer-On name idea was fun.
Gnirol! Thank you so much for this! We are so glad you got it! All of it! We have been overjoyed with the positive responses we have received. There actually weren’t a lot of takes on that scene (three or four I think) Ty and Christian nailed the nuances and are so happy that people are connecting with their characters. Thank you again for taking the time to write down your thoughts about the film. We truly appreciate it and look forward to bringing the series version to life.
WOW! Thank you for watching and taking the time to send a very thoughtful and detailed response to Connor & Jayden. You really found a lot of the nuance and intended story details. Future or current film critic? 😀😀😉. Very happy to hear that you enjoyed Connor & Jayden and very appreciative of your comments.
This was / is so natural, so romantic. From the very beginning, one could sense that mutual interest and I am feeling so happy that those special feelings developed into a much deeper love without any interference from anybody else.
WO'W! What a wonderful film. Finally another fully positive story without drama. After all, that's how it can happen sometimes, right? It seems completely normal and natural to me - and that's the way it should be. It encourages those who don't dare, but all of this is part of the diversity of life or nature. A big compliment and a big thank you! ❤
Thanks for watching. Very glad you enjoyed Connor & Jayden. We agree that the world needs more positive LGBTQ+ stories. The drama doesn't always have to be about the central gay characters. Sometimes a simple love story is just that... simple. We look forward to the series currently development that expands their world and allows us to see these characters united as they forge their way through the world. Again... thank you for taking the time to leave a comment!
Awkward? Why? I think it was charming. I'd say for a first kiss it was rather good. If you look at the behavior of adolescents or if I remember my youth myself, it is and was characterized by a certain insecurity and various attempts at behavior. After all, you often don't really know who you are and have to find yourself. So I found it very authentic and played believably for me. However, David, I would like to know exactly what you mean. What exactly would you have liked better?
I had the distinct pleasure of sending a link for this film to a friend of mine, one of the best online Poets whose work I have ever been privileged to read. Like me, his adolescent experience was not the best; and this film can and does function as a kind of vicarious compensation for that. Truly I can say I feel better about myself, and my past, after having watched this film.
This is the way the world should be and I think back to my youth and how I felt so alone. And while we’ve come a long way baby, we are going back to a very sad place again. Thank you for your beautiful gift to the world and I hope you will make a wonderful difference to those who are feeling so alone today ❤
One of the most beautiful, cutest and upliftig gay films I have ever seen. It prooves it is possible to tell a gay love story without the usual traumas and tragedies. This love story is just being given regardless of the sexual orientation. Adorable actors too.
Thank you so much. It certainly it is possible to tell a gay love story and not have the central gah characters be filled with trauma and issues. We are working on a series version of Connor & Jayden which allows us to explore more of their world and see some of the hurdles they come across… with moot the guys being the issue or source of the drama. Keep an eye out. 🤪😄
As it should be. Everybody deserves the same kind of rights and privileges. There are definitely things people should feel ashamed of, but simply loving another consenting and age appropriate human being is not on the list.

It is so refreshing to read a story that ends with mutual love and not some terrible ending. I was so happy for both those boys. I think they will be together for the rest of their lives. 😘
This is so beaitiful. During my adolescence such a film would have been unheared of; in fact, you tube and the internet were unheard of. And so I, the awkward, clumsy geek who could not run fast or long in gymn class, but could read fast and study long in the academic classes, used to fantasize about whoever I was crushing on that week---meeting, finding out about our natures, and giving into the desires of which we should not have been ashamed.
This would be so perfect on Netflix 😩 definitely can’t wait for the SERIES‼️ both actors & the concept of the film have star, big film material to them. Cgs 🎉💕

@@harborheightsentertainment4525 You're so right. The world does need more shows like this one and Heartstoppers which I saw in its entirety a few days ago and loved it. Loved this whole video, especially the part in the Urban Light plaza at the LACMA. Thanks to all who put their time, energy, and love into this projects. Well done. (May 22, 2024)
I watch it like that, too. I am afraid it is becoming a habit, and one which I have no intention (repeat: NOOOOO intention) of breaking. The beauty of their love is depicted without either the judgmental prejudice or the pandering pornography with which such relationships have been depicted too many times in the past. In my adolescence, too many decades ago than I care to admit, such a film like this could never have been seen. I, an awkward, clumsy, bookworm type of adolescent with a pipsqueak voice, was so desperate to see that people who loved within their gender could express that love with street clothes on, and without cheesy "adult theater" music playing im the background as the time of the "money shot" drrew near. Alas, in those days, such was not to be had, at leadst in my vicinity, and I had to surreptitiously purchase glossy magazines that were kept under the counter or behind a backroom's door, and for which the cashier gave me a glaring look after having carded me---despising me, but still just as quick to snatch my money out of my hand, Ka-Ching!
Adorable. Believable and memorable.. These 3 words describe this amazing short film.. It's not always about How we gay people feel or get treated most of the times by so called straight people.. But sometimes life becomes magical too. We need such happy ending believable stories.. Which encourages us to feel proud on what we are. Proud gay. Loved the series and wish to see more of it. Hope you guys bring more of Connor and jayden. Love from India 🇮🇳
Loved this... wish there could be more of their story. What made it a home run was that it was believable. The actors did a great job and you could tell they were into their characters. I really felt that they were breaking up then Connor shows up and wins Jayden's heart again. It wasn't to actors doing a role. Great job everyone.

I thought I posted a glowing comment the other day but don't see it so here we go again. This is a such a delightful piece, well-crafted in every way. Connor and Jayden interact so beautifully it brings tears to my eyes at times. Yes, it is idealistic, maybe unrealistic in the sometimes ugly existence we share but there is the possibility offered here that magic can happen also. And, if we don't have that, life is so much less worth living. Kudos to all involved and thanks for the happiness this shares. I would love to see a series!

Never enough, eh? So happy that you found our film after Heartstoppers. Here is hoping we see more stories like these in the future. We know we are working to make that happen.
Expanded, contorted, flipped upside down.. the story has twists and turns in the series... but at its core it will always be a love story between Connor & Jayden.
Such a master piece, loved every second of it. The chemistry between the two characters was fabulous. Loved the ending and we need more and more films like this to spread happiness and positive vibes all around amidst this chaos.

Love this film! Such a comfort, yet for me, sad - as being gay when I came out was a potential life threatening sentence. This film shows that loving someone is just what it is! LOVE! So accepting, so pure, so well written, produced, and presented! Great acting!!!!!! Loved it!!!! Thank you so much for presenting a fact that gay men are capable of loving each other. Tears of joy!
Well that was so kind of you. We have to learn and understand that generations before have had much different experiences to what is possible today… and yet… so much is still left to fight for. We are happy that you are able to find joy in this story’s possibilities, even if they were not a reality at some time for you… and unfortunately, for many still today. Thank you for watching and commenting.
A wonderful movie, I wish coming out gay in high school/military school was that easy and filled with so much love and tender moments. Reality bites and now with the GOP/MAGA screaming "don't say gay" horrible life again. At age 69, I am now happy and in a kind relationship after years of playing the "straight man game". Really good use of body language when Connor walks/limps into the Choir Room to ask Jayden for help, the huge smiles on both were a wonderful addition to the acting. I loved the short statement "I want you".
It is truly ashame that there are still such obstacles to love in the LGBTQ+ community. We are happy to hear that you found your happily ever after. Thank you for sharing your story and your support of Connor & Jayden.
I don't think I have ever watched a film, long or short, as repeatedly as I have watched this one. And each time is like the first---to use Shakespeare's words in Antony & Cleopatra, "Age cannot wither, nor custom stale . . ." the "infinite variety" of Connor & Jayden. It speaks to past, present and future about the joy of love, even when interrupted by sorrow once in a while. Today, watching it for the like gazillionth time, I noticed a subtle nuance in the scene in which Connor declares his love to Jayden. In the body language of both actors, there is a sense of both fervent desire straining to move forward, and shy hesitancy just barely holding back. This, I think, is a universal experience of all adolescents, and the actor embody it so realistically that it does not announce itself loudly (as it might in a less artistic film) but it, like all natural feelings, is just there to be noticed by those who can appreciate it. To accomplish this dramatically calls for extraordinary acting talent, which the two actors obviously possess, and exquisitely sensitive directing---which is most definitely present in this film. Someday---and mark my words on this---some film scholar is going to write a whole lot about this film. and praise it far more than my words can do.
That’s fantastic. You’re so far ahead.
Hi Mr Barnes. So glad you enjoyed it. Please let us know how it is received in your class. Would love to hear or see.
YES!!... Im also in NZ, Im in my 30s now, and I would have loved to see something like this when I Was at school... I couldnt even take my BF to the school Ball, my friend had to take him as her date (which Im grateful she did).... you are the teacher LGBT+ kids need.
oh wow that's incredible
something like that didn't happen in our schools
that's really nice
hats off sir 👍
Jayden is living every gay guys dream. I love how there was only acceptance, no homophobia and no traumatic experience. Amazing work.
Portray the future you wish to see… not the reality of the past. Here is hoping we see more acceptance and stories that reflect such. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment.

The actor is amazing.
I really like his attitude.
@@harborheightsentertainment4525 there will be another opus with those cute and adorable boys? That is great
I like how Conner went straight to the point and told Jayden he wants him to be his boyfriend he knew what he wanted from the moment he walked into that cooking class and how he ensured him that he doesn't care about what people will say when he told him he can't wait to see how people will react if they went to prom together it such a beautiful story I cried tears of Joy 😭
Thank you for watching. So happy you enjoyed the story.
Connor went after who he wanted and he wanted Jayden and didn’t care what people thought, he just knew he wanted Jayden and went for him❤
I had a handsome, kind, and talented boyfriend like Connor in high school. He was the love of my life.

Thank you for your kind words. Very happy to hear you enjoyed it.

My first Beloved and I lived in a time and place when we were not permitted to admit we were a couple. I am glad your experience has been different. Everyone should have been glad that two people found Love; what their genders are is no more important than what they ate for breakfast.

No bad words, no tragedy, no drugs… just love
Thank you so much.
Just a simple story of first love where the couple happens to be gay. thank you for watching!!!
No pseudo straight guy self-hatred. Real Men are comfortable in their own skin.
Love the simply hilarious dialogue,
“Sounds like a date.”
“No it’s just two guys watching movie together.”

hehehehehe. Glad you enjoyed!!! :)
Anyone else love how Connor is always touching Jayden's hair?
Oh yes one of my favorite things about him
Yes, from the moment he saw Jayden he couldn't resist running his fingers through Jayden's hair. That really took me by surprise.
Really happy to hear you all are liking the hair toss/flip/touch. It is a sign of comfort and intimacy. Those small touches matter in real life and in cinema.
Jayden himself keeps touching his hair.
Everybody is in love with that hair.
The hair should have it's own movie contract.
Loved this. No politics. No drama. No one killed himself. Pure and simple love and relationships in a time of wonderful youth. Thanks for making this!
Thank you for your kind words. We are happy you enjoyed Connor & Jayden.
Yea
Everything is about politics, it's not just about some entitled and corrupt elitists.
When we want to create a better future for everybody on the planet, we need to start reshaping the present.
These two have rare onscreen chemistry and the soundtrack is fantastic. Plus kudos to whomever came up with the whole "Corinthian Columns of Light" scene design. Beautiful!
Hi David- Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. The lights are our favorite as well. Beautiful art installation that translates nicely for film.

@@harborheightsentertainment4525
Just like life....in an alternate universe.
As an older Queer man , I think we need more films like this !
Thanks for watching. We agree… especially in these more politicised times… stories of hope and innocence are important. Especially for LGBTQ youth.
As an older gay man, I couldn't agree with you more! Stay strong and well my brother.
I am not 60 yet, but I am definitely an old gay man. I was at 35,45, and 55. This is romantic because it is just a simple story that is honest and cute. No parents, no bullies, no one who gets in the ay of their romance.
agree, nothing like this when I was in high school
Thank you for expressing this for many of us. I wish my adolescence had happened in a place and time where this kind of relationship (and not the repression, bullying, and assaults) had been the norm; but this film gives me hope that it will someday soon be the norm, and couples---lovers---will not be judged for the gender, but celebrated for the beauty of their love.
FINALLY! A gay theme short film that is uplifting with a boy wins boy happy ending .... and not some dark dreary depressing crap!
Couldn't agree more! Thank you for watching.
Thank you for your kind words. Once again, we are so grateful for your enthusiasm and ability to pick up on the smaller details with appreciation.❤️

So adorable. And the chemistry between them is so good.

The actor who played Jayden is amazing.
Usually 'bottom' characters are way too passive and downright boring, but Jayden is utter perfection.

Please do! And be sure to keep Christian & Ty as Connor & Jayden.
(A lot of the material on which the plots were focused involved the two main characters, Justin and Michael, undergoing psychological problems.) I am hopeful that the series based upon _Connor and Jayden: The Story of Us_ will have the same qualities and characteristics of the original short movie
As with some of the others writing comments, I am an older gay person who grew up in a time where expressing gay love meant putting you reputation (and safety) on the line and it simply was not done.
Thank you so much Benedict! So glad you are enjoying their story. Looking forward to bringing you the series!

This was adorable and heartwarming AF. If this would've come out when i was a teenager , it would have been so empowering, life changing really.

I absolutely agree - so keep on your good work - and again: thank you very much.
Good story but the acting could use more direction. Even the kissing seemed a little awkward, forced.
Thanks for watching David. We appreciate your honest feedback.
Awkward?
BRO WAS SMOOTH WOTH THAT LINE “can I be your boyfriend” SMOOTH
So true.. but EXACTLY what Jayden wanted to hear, but never really though he would.
Kudos to the writer, director, and cast. The world NEEDS more movies like this. Bravo!
Many thanks!!!!!🙏🏻

@@harborheightsentertainment4525hi from Britland again. Thanks for the update, really hope they get the series together or, if not, they at least publish the stories... there's some couples you just can't get enough of!
Series are hard to get off the ground... especially with a couple of industry strikes. Keep an eye out for an update and story tease soon! :)
It seems so corny even thought I wept throughout the entire short film! I needed this positive attitude with a magnificence ending! Thank you for sharing this hopeful conclusion!
Glad you enjoyed it! Shows how much we need stories like this. Thank you for watching and commenting.
It is so refreshing to read a story that ends with mutual love and not some terrible ending. I was so happy for both those boys. I think they will be together for the rest of their lives. 😘
Thanks for watching. Glad you enjoyed the simple sweet story it is intended to be.
The lack of unnecessary melodrama made it seem so realistic. I like that. Well done 👏👏
Thank you very much!
You never know who you’ll end up loving. ❤️ 🙏
Thank you for watching.
This would be so perfect on Netflix 😩 definitely can’t wait for the SERIES‼️ both actors & the concept of the film have star, big film material to them. Cgs 🎉💕
So glad you enjoyed!!!! Please share with your friends. We look forward to the series as well.
I thought the same thing , British show has one like this on Netflix
What is da show called?
I believe you are referring to Heartstopper on Netflix. A great show!!!! Exactly the kind of uplifting, hopeful show that we believe the world needs more of! And exactly the core of the Connor & Jayden series. 8 episodes are written and in final development stages! Subscribe to the channel to keep up-to-date on its progress.
@@harborheightsentertainment4525 You're so right. The world does need more shows like this one and Heartstoppers which I saw in its entirety a few days ago and loved it. This is like Episode 0 to be followed by a series proper. Congratulations on the making of this short film and I look forward to the series.
It was beautiful. May all gay guys get their love without heart broken💔... Love is for everyone.
Thanks for watching!!! We are happy to hear you enjoyed.
Amen💯💯💯
Beautifully said. And so true.😊✌✌
I am watching this 6th time.. what should I say more...I love the way they look each other ❤️❤️❤️
Such a beautiful and heart warming story. So refreshing to watch a happy gay movie and not one that is filled with angst, sadness and tragedy. Cudos to the writers and the actors.
Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment. We are so happy to hear you enjoyed the story and appreciated the uplifting and positive nature of Connor & Jayden.
Loved this whole video, especially the part in the Urban Light plaza at the LACMA. Thanks to all who put their time, energy, and love into this projects. Well done. (May 22, 2024)
I’ve literally watched this on repeat for the past 3 days. This is just such a good short film
Very happy to hear you continue to enjoy it on repeat watching. Thanks for supporting the film and taking the time to comment. It is appreciated.
We need more! This kind of positive movie. They are so cute together
Well said. Thank you for watching and commenting.
Loved this... wish there could be more of their story. What made it a home run was that it was believable. The actors did a great job and you could tell they were into their characters. I really felt that they were breaking up then Connor shows up and wins Jayden's heart again. It wasn't to actors doing a role. Great job everyone.
Thank you Thomas. We are happy that you enjoyed. We have a whole lot more Connor & Jayden story to tell as part of a series in development. Be sure to subscribe to stay up-to-date.
Conner is a quite mature actor, as straight as an arrow yet the fashion he acts the role is superb
Actually, everything could be that simple. A wonderful picture book story that makes every viewer's heart beat faster. Many thanks to everyone who took part.
Thank you for you kind words. Glad to hear that the story touched you.
This was so sweet! All the way through I was thinking "please don't hurt Jayden, or play him" - but this was just an honest story about someone falling in love, and being honest about it! 😊
Glad you enjoyed it!
@@harborheightsentertainment4525 I absolutly did, and I have actually watched it 4 times this week already - including one hour ago 🙂
what a good story....I am happy to see a Bl story without all the angst and sadness all the time ,its nice to see something uplifting for a change....
❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
literally had to come back to this. truly just so warm and fuzzy and wholesome i can’t get over these two🥹 just had to comment and scream abt how precious these two are . also ty & christian are literally like so talented its actually wild. their chemistry is legit through the roof! thank y’all for making this so sweet and for not giving them a bad ending. i absolutely cannot wait and truly hope to see more of these little beans soon and am very excited that y’all potentially have stuff in the works for us to see soon :’)
So happy you enjoyed! Thank you for your kind words.
Well thank you for watching… and commenting… and commenting again to make sure it went up. Very much appreciate your feedback and happy to see you enjoyed the story!
WOW FIRST GAY MOVIE IVE EVER SEEN WITH A HAPPY ENDING
We need more of them, right? Thank you for watching and commenting!
What a beautiful story. I got nice feelings about actors; they simple fresh and good vibes, no drama, no hidden porno, only a love encounter. Only love. Thank you guys. Always goin to be to be in my heart.
Very happy to hear you enjoyed. Thank you for watching and commenting!!!!
"What you want "
I want you.....aww🥺❤️😂
"I want you too" - Jayden
😃😃😃
This film is utterly and completely adorable in every way. Can't wait to see what happens next with these two.
Thanks for watching. Glad you enjoyed Connor & Jayden. So much more of their story to share. Stay tuned… and subscribe for updates. 😀
It is probably the best short film I have ever seen. Hats off to the actors.❤
Why thank you… that is quite the compliment. We appreciate you watching and are so glad you enjoyed.
Heartstopper got me watching short films , damit...but this was such a cute story
Never enough, eh? So happy that you found our film after Heartstoppers. Here is hoping we see more stories like these in the future. We know we are working to make that happen.
AWESOME! A GREAT FILM!!! Thank you for not having somebody get cancer or die! I'm watching again!
WHAT!?!?!? No one dies in Connor & Jayden? We must have messed up. 😉. Glad you enjoyed.
Oh my god this was so cute, uplifting and encouraging.
Glad you enjoyed. Thank you for watching!
wonderful ! GLAD TO HEAR THAT THIS STORY IS GOING TO BE EXPANDED.
Thank you for your kind words. We appreciate you watching and commenting. So happy to hear you enjoyed .
Woah, an Indian? Quite unusual
There are certain works of art--poetry, music, painting---that cannot be fully appreciated on the first experience, and continue to fascinate no matter how many times experienced. This video is one of those artworks.
Thank you so much for your continued support. We always appreciate hearing from you. Happy Holidays!
@@harborheightsentertainment4525 Thank you. I am sorry I failed to thank you for the replay in a timely way: I have been quite ill, and was hospitalized for a week in December, so I am a little messed up right now.
Hello! So sorry to hear that you have been ill and in the hospital. We hope that you are on the mend and feeling better. How kind that you took time to reply. Here's to a heathier 2024 going forward for you. :)
Love ... happens when and where you find it, especially young love .... absolutely great story .... many may come and go but your first time remains with you always!
Well said! Glad you enjoyed.
Connor and jayden were amazing together. A realistic storyline with impressive acting❤
Thank you for watching. We are happy you enjoyed.
Thank you boys for a real treat!👍......waiting for the next film💕...Richard, Saint Croix
Thanks for watching and the feedback!!!!
Apart from the good chemistry between them, they are both good looking and have very beautiful smiles
They are talented and handsome… and all around great people too. A true joy to work with. Glad you enjoyed their performances. Thanks for watching.
I'm crying at some of the lines, so beautifully written and enacted. Brilliant.
Thank you so much for watching Connor & Jayden. We are very happy to hear you enjoyed the film.
Literally, amazing 😊
Thank you!!! We appreciate you watching and commenting.
What a GREAT video!!! I would love to see this turned into a series... thank you!!
Appreciate your support! We are working on making the series come to life. Stay tuned.
I loved it, & the thing that I loved the most in this is that it's simple without much toxicity, no villains, no family issues & stuffs just a beautiful story of pure love, Thanks alot to the whole for their hard work
Thank you for watching. Glad you enjoyed it!
Nice!!!! No drama, no tears!!!! Very good movie!!!!
I've lost track of times I've watched this. I love both characters but I'm totally in love with Jaydens dimple
Thanks for your comment. Glad that you have enjoyed watching a Connor & Jayden… And more specifically Jayden. 😉
Carolyn, me too, it’s the sweetest video and my most favorite🌈❤️🌈
Why can’t we have more positive stories like this of two guys falling in love? Love it…no drama, just love! 💕❤️💕
We agree. We hope Connor & Jayden is one of the steps into making more positive, romantic gay films.
Fab story, had me in tears. Love is so beautiful.
Glad you enjoyed it.
One of the Top 3 Movies in my Life! Thank you beautiful STARS!!
So happy you enjoyed the cast performances. Thanks for watching.
I think this story is so respectful of those who are gay and blessed to know Love .
Thank you for a drama free BL movie. I enjoyed Conner and Jayden's relationship from start to finish
Glad you enjoyed!!!!
Bingo! perfect movie, well done acting and the moral is outstanding without heartbreak and bitterness to go back on my enthusiasm. I LOVE IT.
Thank you for watching. Glad you enjoyed Connor & Jayden.
@@harborheightsentertainment4525 you're welcome. I'll look out for more.
What a great movie...this was excellent.
Glad you enjoyed Connor & Jayden. Appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment.
This story had me in tears of joy.
