- I had an issue with my driver's heated seat not working, it would turn off 2-3 seconds after turning it on. I pinpointed the issue you the bottom heater pad being burnt out (the most common issue with heated seats). The fix costed me $25 off Amazon with a generic heated seat kit, The OEM part was $450 @ the stearlership. I made this video to help other people with this issue as I couldn't find much on it, side note my finished protect was solder and heat shrink just made this quick video to show it does work

This guy has the most excellent Canadian accent I've heard in a while!
I bought my replacement pad from Mopar. It's my rainy day project today.
How did you determine that the pad had burnt out, rather than a fuse or some other component? Thanks.
Radar detectors are illegal where I live at lol😂
Hey Tyson, were you able to slide both the back pad and bottom pad into the seat? My drivers seat will light up but will not heat up so I am looking to add new pads. Any more info would help!
I also wanted to check to see, i noticed you had ventilated seats as well, did these new pads have any effect on those?
My passenger upper seat keeps turning off?
Before did it effect ur airbag coming on and AC going off?
So you left factory temp sensor hooked up?
Was looking on Amazon for seat heaters for my 2017. You wouldn't have that info would you?
what brand
Hay boss is it still working?
Watch the amperage on a “cheap pad”. Burn ass off of blow fuses
Both buttons on mine keep turning off on both seats
No it’s old video but by chance did you fell like the seat was EXTRA hot before it burnt out?? Felt like mine did that before giving out right when winter hit
