Would love to stay there with that sunset.
Did the coworking spaces have private rooms?

Joose! Thanks for all the videos, we will be there in August... will you be around? BTW... är du svensk eller dansk?
As a Vietnamese, I can confirm that Da Nang is awesome!
Best city to live in the entire country🤙
Yeah agreed🙏🏽
As a tourist in da nang is one of the worst place in asia for meet girls.
I am amazed and so happy here! 💟
Amazing city, last week I visited it for 5 days and now i am considering moving there during the cold winter in my country. Very cheap and lovely people.
Glad to hear you liked it🙏🏽
I told people about danang for years, was there first time around 4 years ago. Just the perfect environment of beach and city with such a low cost of living. Finally people catch up to it! 🙏
Yeah man it was so unknown a couple of years ago😄
Let's keep Da Nang a secret as long as possible, we don't need more Bali people here, Vietnam is an amazing place, there is no need to become like Phuket, Bali or other place. Thank you.
I tried to tell him that but he keeps making videos showcasing how amazing it is! Luckilly he did say it was a bit boring this time. So boring, don't come here!
YES BROOOOOOOOOOOOO - incredible video - we love you and thank you for sharing places with us so beautifully xxx Japhy
Thanks bro😎🙏🏽
Thank you for coming and sharing our beloved country to the word! Love your contents.
Thanks so much🙏🏽
great video! Love that you showed the coworking space
Thanks so much🙏🏽
Thank you for such an informative video! Added Danang to my list of nomad and surf destinations😍
Great to hear you liked it😊🙏🏽
Thanks Joose. Appreciate your videos
Glad you like them!
Thank you for sharing information about my wonderful city of Da Nang with international friends. Wherever I go for a few days or weeks, I always miss Da Nang.
My pleasure! That's amazing🙏🏽
Man, I love your videos, amazing content, quality and most importantly I see the food and say to myself I need that!!! Going there soon
Awesome, thank you! The food is so good🤤
Bro stop promoting it! Prices will go up like crazy 💀
I'm not promoting it😂 I have made over 100 UA-cam videos all around South East Asia but once I do few in Da Nang some people have problem with it?
@@JooseTheNomadThey are right man. Around 10 years ago so many vloggers came to the Philippines and just spewed to everyone how good the dating was here, which is true, now the Philippines is more expensive to live in than the US in many aspects, and many of the girls have become entitled and expecting foreigners to spend a bunch of money on them (not my experience personally but that's what i hear)
If a place is good, sooner or later it gets ruined the more people know about it come in raise the prices for everyone, and foreigners become a dime a dozen.
@@Re3iRtH yeah that's how the world works, more & more people can travel so of course all nice destinations become more popular. It's just pointless to tell one small UA-camr to stop making videos😂
And Russians took it seriously
Yea you won't stop it. Just savour it while it lasts. That's life. Nothing stands still :)
What a place ❤
Thanks man for showing us this beauty
You're welcome🙏🏽
Your life look like Paradise ..Perfect ..
Thank you :)
I was just here for the first time last week with a friend of mine. Spent a few days. It was truly a remarkable experience, and you gave a very accurate description of the vibe, and what to expect. Definitely perfect for a digital nomad, or someone that wants to get away for a month or so. Extremely affordable. I already want to go back in less than a year. I'll make sure to have my beach body ready next time lmao.
Glad to hear you enjoyed it🙏🏽
I always appreciate your take
Glad to hear🙏🏽
heading there in a month - can't wait!
Nice man, enjoy!
Awesome videos about Vietnam!!! Please continue!

Another Da Nang video. My entertainment value, reliving my trip there in May 2023: 10 out of 10. My bank balance when seeing the Airbnb prices have gone up yet again due to these videos: 1 out of 10. LOL Thank you for the entertainment Joose 😀 Great video as usual! I've just booked for March 2025...before the price goes up anymore 😂
Thank you🙏🏽 Hahah yeah but I'm sure there will always be good deals in Da Nang😉

After watching all your Da Nang videos, I really wanna go there for a few months!
I'd recommend, everyone I met there loved it too!
Great video as always, lots of value. Agree with most of what you say. Came to Da Nang after watching one of your last year videos about it. Been in Vietnam and mostly in Da Nang for almost 3 months now and I love this country! Would recommend also checking out Sapa, Ha Giang, Nimh Binh, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

Love your channel and your authenticity and honesty. The information you share is of true value! Thank you!!
Thanks so much, I appreciate that!
Totally agree! Danang is also a great place for you to open a TECH company. Thousands of SE at a reasonable rate, young, dynamic, dedication. Let's start your dream in Danang.

very good info for digital nomads! 🤙
Glad to hear🙏🏽
Great video, I'm currently in Budapest and will be moving to Danang for September - December thanks in no small part to your videos. I passed through Danang once before in 2016, back then though I wasn't in the Digital Nomad mindset, just backpacking and drinking! I cant wait to feel the humidity of SE asia again. I hope to learn to surf too!
Thank you! You know it will be rainy / typhoon season right?😄 Definitely will feel the humidity haha! It's good place to learn to surf tho!
@@JooseTheNomad Yea I did hear that but I gather it typically rains hard for a couple of hours and then and clears up right? Not ideal, but as long as I can escape the cold winter in Europe I will be a happy man, even if I'm soaking wet!
@@michaeljames3912 that's how it's usually in Bali but I'm not aure how exactly in Da Nang. As long as there's not any typhoons, should be fine!
The best city for international tourists and expatriates in VN is definitely Hanoi. It has much better infrastructure and the widest variety of food. It is a city of rich culture and great heritages which you can't find anywhere else in the country.
What infrastructure is missing in Da Nang? Isn't Hanoi's air quality even worse? And there's no nice beach and surfing in Hanoi😊
Nice video.
Thank you!
Great vid, Man.
You been to Nha Trang yet and how do they compare?
I've been, you can find videos on my channel there too. Da Nang is better for a long stay, and the ocean water is way nicer in Da Nang + surfing!
@@JooseTheNomad Cool, I'll check it out....
Coming to Da Nang soon!
Enjoy!!
How much time do you need to be out of Vietnam to come back in after three months? :) thanks for the cool content my friend, looking forward to going over there when the contract for my apartment is over. Cheers!
I'm not sure, could take some time to get the visa approved. Maybe you can find some info about it on UA-cam or Google? Thank you🙏🏽
Thank you so much for sharing this detailed explanation. Your videos are really fantastic!
Glad you like them!
Joose, again an amazing video!
I am really loving your videos and getting much out of it 😄
Keep up the great work 🔥
Great to hear man! Thanks so much🙏🏽
Da nang in 2014 was super cheap. It didn't have all the fancy western style places it has now but was a fantastic place with not too many tourists.
I'm sure there's many Vietnamese cities like that still :)
does anyone have experience with the weather in september / october in da nang? is it too hot? A lot of raining?
What apartments or hotels on AirBNB do you recommend by My Khe? Short-term and for longer stays (maybe different recommendations depending on length if stay??).
Surely the cons you mentioned will be solved eventually, coz in general the city is moving so fast and the local people are accepting and tolerant with new cultures, as it is going on now. Hope you enjoy the best time over there!
Yeah the air quality is my only concern🥴 Thanks!
Heyy, love your videos.
Can i ask what equipment are you using?
Microphone, camera, stand...
And also what is cheaper equipment you can recommend to buy for starting making videos like this.
Thank you!
Thanks! Ihpone 15 pro with DJI Mic.
@@JooseTheNomad And do you have stand for the iphone?
@@djidopeled8605 yeah just random tripod from Amazon
I found your same studio for rent on Airbnb and they are charging almost $900 (for the month of November) - is that a seasonal thing or did you book it through another site? Love your videos - I'm going to spend the winter in Southeast Asia and all your content has been very helpful and informative.
Wow that's crazy! Not sure because November should be low season. I booked mine last year like in Septeber or something. But I already booked for next year March and it was like $750 so they definitely raised prices I guess from higher demand but $900 doesn't make any sense😳 Happy to hear, thanks so much🙏🏽
You should go to Phu Quoc! Would love to see your video for that
Somehow it never seemed so attractive to me compared to islands in these other countries around here🤔
Tastewise and valuewise, Danang is amazing.
Exactly!
Thanks man love your videos keep it up 😊
Thank you😎🙏🏽
In the CO worker space what is the etiquette for conference calls ?
Great content as usual Joose! Do you recommend booking a hotel when you arrive there or in advance through AirBnb?
It's the easiest through Airbnb and best options for monthly stays in my opinion!
And thank you🙏🏽
@@JooseTheNomad Thanks, will keep that in mind and looking forward for the next video!🙌

Hey bro, thanks for the comprehensive review! I’m seriously considering touring SE Asia because of your channel. One thing that’s a bit annoying is the low internet speeds. I will be working remotely with teams from North America and Europe and will need to be online in those time zones. In Da nang, it will be late at night so I’m concerned about finding reliable high speed wifi in the Airbnb. I doubt any cafes or co working spaces will be open late at night, any ideas on this? Thanks again mate 🙏🏽
Awesome bro! You can ask the Airbnbs before booking for the wifi speeds but also Seaview Coworking is open 24/7!
@@JooseTheNomad That’s great! Thanks for sharing that! And thanks for all your work bro, really enjoying your content. Good luck my man 😎 🤟🏽
@@kev6865576 thanks so much man🙏🏽

totally agree with you, perfect to get work done, but hard to make local friends or even date local girls (not like Thailand). Also i had issues with local surf guys pushing and threatening tourists who try surfing on "their" surf spots, was a bit crazy. Cost of living is great and of course the food too :) If someone has higher budget I would still recommend Phuket instead or Bali
Wow I never seen that😳 in My Khe? Yeah I agree, I'd still choose those too if money is not an issue for longer stay but Da Nang is still nice to experience for different vibe and food🙏🏽
How long are you there for ? Might end up running into you out there !
I already left😄 Going back next year!
Hello, I'm from Saigon, a city located in the southern part of Vietnam
I've been there🙏🏽
I pin all the places you recommend, Joose. Coming for at least 3 months from July. Thanks for your videos.
Edit: I heard in a WhatsApp group that there's padel, but it's in Hoi An for now. It seems that's the only thing it's missing that I would love.
Enjoy! Is there really? I don't see any on Google maps
I will be there, too, for 3 months from July 11th 👍. First time to Vietnam.
I do have a question tho might be a cool video to do if you haven’t already (perhaps I missed it) is it possible to open a bank account for vnd during your stay in Vietnam? Any tips for exchange and how to make sure you are not over paying? Also is vnd the main currency do vendors/stores use debit machines etc. would your recommendation be to carry the physical cash in dong on you when going shopping or out for coffee? That was much more than one question 😅 but thank you 🙏 😊
It's simple for me😄 90% of the time I just pay with Apple pay and I get cash from ATM(minimal fees) for occasional cash payments. In my opinion there's no reason to overthink it haha
@@JooseTheNomad can you tell I’m nervous 🤣🤣 thank youuu haha
My girlfriend and I are planning to visit Vietnam next year, and we heard in one of your videos that Apple products are cheaper there. If so, how much cheaper are they, and do you have any comparison values? Secondly, I believe you mentioned that it's possible to get a tax refund. If so, how much can we expect to get back? And last but not least, where can we buy products in places like Da Nang, and where did you purchase yours, as we want to avoid unreliable sellers?
it's not hard to stay a couple of months there ? i heard that Vietnam it's kinda tricky visa speaking ?
Easy nowadays with the 90 days eVisa :)
my favorite is definitely HCMC but Da Nang is pretty cool, front sea nice to live but nightlife to me be is better in downtown and more authentic.
Da Nang looks clean. Nothing like what I've seen in Thailand.
Yeah in some areas it's super clean and no mosquitos! But the air quality was quite bad at least in April..
@@JooseTheNomad how come there's no mosquitos?
@@luv2stack not sure why, but I didn't see even one😄
Do you usually tip the Grab delivery guy? If so, how much?
Yeah always, depending on how well things went and how friendly haha, usually around 10-20k!
Im visiting Da Nang in two weeks. What area in da nang should I book my hotel in. Budget wise it can be more expensive. I like to stay at a clean and nice place where I can reach a lot by foot.
My An area is the best :)
What website do you check your wifi speed on ?😊

Did you need a permit to get that drone footage? It seems there are issues with the DJI app and flying in that area. All tips highly appreciated :-)

This airbnb is €986 per month now! Maybe because it got your seal of approval!
For what time period? I booked it for next year for little over 700€. But yeah this is why I don't mention the name in the video, would be 2000€ lol

Why so obsessed with WIFI speeds? I think "WIFI" is mentioned 20 times in this video and in many others. Most projects don't require crazy speeds. Is everyone there daytrading or playing games competitively? This feels more like a (sponsored) review of the Internet provider than Da Nang 🙂 Still, big thumbs-up for the video!
How could it be when I don't even know what the providors are?😂 I always get comments asking for the speeds since I started making videos few years ago, many people do work that requires a bit higher speeds. Thanks🙏🏽

I don't understand why people go to coworking spaces when they're trying to get away from regular offices.
To network outside your office/career.
Yeah you'll have a comfortable place to work with good wifi and meeting like-minded people. Quite different than 9-5 job where you need to be specific time and stuck with the same people and in the same city😄 I personally don't use coworking spaces that often tho

It's not very clean though. Dioxin/Agent orange is the reason why Da Nang bay is empty. All area around airport is very toxic, and some food too. And thats the reason why the prices are low.
For casual tourism, 5-star hotels stay - it's not a problem at all. But not recommend to eat local fish, eggs, and other food that can contain dioxin. For those with kids that could be a real problem.
Another problems - roads and driving, consumer convenience(some stores turning off refrigerator for night).
For prolonged stay in Vietnam I'd choose Phu Quoc though. But Da Nang is nice place to visit anyway
Yeyy as vegan I have no problems😊 Why Phu Quoc tho?
@@JooseTheNomad haha on point.
Phu Quoc have that island vibe, more quiet, even quite nice grocery store, tropical beaches(Da Nang is good too, but different), nice cafes. Also theres something with dogs on this island. They're free and behave like independent species - walking around without humans by their own business :D
Totally recommend if you not been there yet, it's different than mainland Vietnam
