Messmer's rain of fire is massively outclassed by almost everything in the game? How about a slight buff so it's still outclassed by almost everything in the game and has no practical value? - also fromsoft
twinblades powerstance has a feature that after jumping attack, heavy attack and rolling attack you will do the last attack in the combo string. Which means it’s probably the best weapon for twinblade talisman as it is basically a free 45% damage buff to the last attack in combo string and it does include those after a dodge, a heavy or a jump. Basically this weapon thrives on 45% damage buffs

@@malikhittam1440 my favorite builds honestly. Overpowered, you can land all three hits on medium opening and out range smaller bosses and enemies. You can also use multi hits talisman. Also you have all the best ashes of war available so for shorter opening use your ash of war like repeating thirst, blood tax, sword dance or whatever.
the powerstance combos can be cool because the dodge r1, jumping r1, and heavy/charged heavy attacks all lead directly into the last hit of the light attack combo so its one of the few instances where the twinblade talisman is actually viable, and the twinblade talisman is a big buff
Awsome Rellana's Twinblade and the Light greatswords are my fav thing out of the dlc to be honest they just feel so good to use both power stanced and 2handed

Before, WS was so fast that using Rellana’s Cameo was basically useless, but now it’s gonna hit like a railgun, especially with cold procced (because everyone knows cold is the best infusion for it). My character is at level 450ish, with 60 STR, 60 DEX, 72 INT, 72 FTH, and 70 ARC. These swords at +10 are one of the highest ar weapons in the game, just behind Maliketh's Black Blade, Blasphemous Blade, Royal Greatsword, the DLC forge anvil weapon, and the Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword.
It sounds like it would be effective combining Rellana's Twinblade with a cold-infused Milady with Wing Stance. The ashes of war on both weapons are buffed by Rellana's Cameo, and the off-hand fire sword would reset frostbite and amp up the damage that way.
For a level ~250 build would it be better to max int and faith to like 70 with only a bit of investment in str and dex, or go full quality with all stats ~40?
Rellana’s cameo is now S tier?! +45% damage and .5 sec faster can save your life!! Moon and Fire Stance needed poise damage, enemies would shrug off attacks.
I'd suggest swapping out Flock's for the Twinblade talisman and practicing the weave combos for when you don't have time to charge the stance. Unsheathe on katanas was always superior and it didn't change. Even tho it usually takes one more hit to stance break with unsheathe it's longer, faster and hits harder.
Please stop spreading the Rakshasa miss-information. It doesn't make you take extra damage. The armour set just has lower damage resistances for it's weight.
That’s the same thing bro. The implication that it makes you take more damage than other armor sets in its weight class is there. Hence why I said “it’s still better than other light armor”.
@@youwy Its not the same thing both because It actually is better to have rakshasa's armor on than no armor, because it doesn't give you negative defenses or anything like that. Also because its easy to think that bit of extra damage comes on top of the bad defenses. Thats why it is important to clarify this.
Its not as good for square off and Unsheathe, because you want to spam them for stance breaks, and Rellana's cameo doesnt boost stance damage. Further, since you are at close range, you may miss some openings or punishes altogether if you try to hold the stance that long. Ranged gameplay doesnt have this issue.

this works with just doing a normal heavy attack, and a light attack. Lightgreat swords in general can do this, it REALLY strong and hella fun to use

The AR is misleading though, because it adds together the fire and magic damage. In reality, each sword deals one or the other.
You forgot bloodfiend's Arm, sacred and flame art infused. you just need faith and minimum str and arc.

Remember that you can go into the end of combo strings of this weapon extremely quickly, so the curved sword talisman is great for it

greatblade phalanx + magic stance combo would be a crazy way to instantly poise break many bosses
Rellana's twin blade's magic skill also has a better tracking so you won't miss as much as Sword of Nights and Flame's Magic skill.
Cameo + unsheathe will now be the best thing by far to use on my build. Quick attack with crap loads of damage AND stance damage? Yes please
