What she said early on in the interview about lack of teacher training, pedagogical vision applies to education of almost every field in India. Teachers are reduced to simply talking textbooks who come and dictate notes for exam prep, teaching to the test. All we are preparing people is to be good test takers, not inventors or researchers or anything that involves originality & creativity.
