it's unfair to compare Abira and Atika...they both are pros in their respective language interviews. Abira is a seasoned English cinema journalist, while Atika is know for her usage of good Hindi and Urdu while interviewing her guests. Both are matured and non controversial on their approaches towards cinematic journalism

The first interview where I was actually looking forward to hearing the interviewer too. Such a breath of fresh air from the crappy interviews we see off late.
We now realize that the actors are more versatile than their given role. Unfortunately, they have been given similar roles to catch more attention. Fortunately, the variety of work these days is changing that.
A. Both of their opinions on their respective sequels are bang on. B. Interviewer asked great questions, none of that usual 'set pe kya masti kiya' BS. C. RPS's point about Pankaj Tripathi getting the same roles is quite valid
I don't think whenever someone will say "BABURAO GANPATRAO APTE", he would not imagine PARESH RAWAL Sir's image for the character. That is truly immortal. PERIOD.

These are actors of the most elite level. When they say "Pankaj ka kaam, Divyendu ka kaam" then you know how OTT has actually changed the quality of acting in the entertainment world.

I agree too. It was not only a great decision to interview these actors by giving them the media space what they deserve - it was also a good interview because the interviewer @abiradhar. On suggestion, though - it would be great if we don't involve in asking question about other actor/s(Raj Kumar Rao) in this interviews - Even though Rathna Pathak brought the topic. For the same reason I mentioned this was a great decision to interview these actors - - otherwise we are taking away what they deserve. They have worked for more than 30 years in our cinemas. There's lot to talk about them with them. I am sure Raj Kumar gets his due anyways :)
It is such a delight, a pleasure, and a privilege to watch two masters of their craft talk. They are so unassuming, forthright, candid, and eloquent (particularly Ratna Ma'am) - it is a treat to listen to and be educated by their opinions and experiences.

Sir, I don't think you realise with the Hera pheri series(both parts), what you have done. You have been a part of a masterpiece and have done 'out of the world' acting which made me a fan of yours for life. Whenever the camera starts rolling, you turn into an acting beast(especially comedy). Extraordinary talent. This movie works like a health pill and just tickles my funny bones every single time. It's crazy how good both parts are. The entire team has knowingly/unknowingly created an evergreen piece of comedy. Still relatable and effortlessly funny😂😂😂
I do remember Javed Akhter said once,We have utilised only 25% potential of Madhuri Dixit and Sridevi..the problem is from the Script Writer,Director and Audience. .They never come up with new ideas and experimental movies..Pran sir used to get paid more than Heroes..Madhuri and Sridevi used to get paid more than Khans.

Ratna ji is a brilliant actor and I wish we had seen more of her. I was really impressed by her role of professor in Encounter the killing,and loved how she acted when police frequented her place for enquiry and how she played that with Attitude of 'We don't do such things'.
This interview has such unique vibe compared to the interviews these days. Also can't ignore the fact that politically these two actors have opposite opinions and yet so friendly
It is such a blessing to listen to these gem of an actors. Put more of them independent interviews exploring more into their experiences and acting ways. Dont do interviews only because of their movies are coming out. We want to hear more from them.
Would also like to add Rishi Kapoor who was an absolute revelation in his 2nd innings.His "Rauf Lala" or "Goldman" from D-Day is more menacing than many stereotyped Bollywood villains.

Although I didn't really liked the movie because it doesn't dig deeper into the details but Rajkumar Rao is as cold as ice. Terrific performance by him. The anchor was basically making this interview focus only on Ratna mam but the thing about Paresh sir is he spoke less but his words really had deep meaning and weight to it.
Becoz Paresh was speaking less (that he usually do in interview) as compared to Rachna, and you don't get much of if consistently asked him first and it would become awkward... Use common sense..
Paresh has had a long career filled with limelight so he is more laid back than ratna... Ratna is more talkative & is only getting mainstream roles recently so she's always eager to use the platform to max.

Well I watched the movie last night and I felt the same real hero and heroine were paresh and ratna Pathak and chacchaji did his part amazingly I could watch the whole Movie only because of ratnapathak shah and chacchaji ( doctor)
I love Paresh Rawal...it's always like am listening to someone who is not a star and just another uncle next door. He doesn't talk with an accent , he doesn't have to show himself sophisticated . He is just what he is.
This is what you call actors, I don’t mean to start the nepotism debate but most of those young stars needed to train before getting their projects. When they speak you hear the experience and years of hard work. In an industry that’s all about glamour ppl like them keep the art alive. Alas we don’t appreciate them as much as we should.
