Its a massive statement to compete with toyota they are known for ultimate reliability and also been making hybrids for the past 20+ years
That’s a fair point, however the so drastically undercut the Yaris on price and generate a 5* AutoExpress review suggests they’ve done a great job. Backed by a 7 year warranty too
This is advertised as a family car and is not fit for purpose a car is a big outlay and you can't just take it back and in the UK a 60/40 split is a must for a family I have made that mistake I say again BUY A PREREGISTER I20 proper family car and will be woth more in 2 years than this rubbish will be worth when u drive it off the car lot

Great review, thank you. Do you know why randomly a very high pitch warning comes on for about 10 secs, when driving on.I have turned off the two audible warnings in mgpilot but it's still happening. It's very distracting and annoying. A few more drivers are picking up on this. It's the only gripe I have on an otherwise great car 👍

@LuscombeSuzukiLeeds I managed to sort it if anyone else asks, the audible beeps are coming from the satnav that you can turn off. It wasnt anything to do with the mg pilot. I've just got 65.3 mpg from a 87 mile motorway journey. 🎉 it's an amazing car
Looks great value for money. Can't beat a PHEV mind most of my journeys result in a MPG of over 300 mpg.

You mentioned the transmission tunnel, but it's front wheel drive.
Correct. It’s a commonly used term for that raised up section which compromises rear seat leg room in the centre seat, although in reality is housing other components
why don't car manufacturers make the centre screen adjustable for reach?

Why has this car got a solid back seat and also depression is terrible just put the reg of a 24 plate into any car and offering £12500 for a car advertised at £20700 I got offer more for my hyundai 20i which is a 22 plate with 15000 miles on I bought my i20 at 12 months old with low mileage for about the same as this brand new and is still woth more
Please donot lie. It will give you around 50 ml the gallon. Much more you will not get except if you push it from an Mountain.
No split rear seat means I would walk away. A big mistake

I have asked MG customer services and my local MG dealer but no statement from MG to say if they will actually rectify the situation regarding no 60/40 split rear seats .Was hoping they would confirm factory orders would have 60/40 split.
