阿傑is the besttttttt I recently binged almost all of his videos. He does an incredible job on teaching how to mount platyceriums! I’m so in awe of his specimens. Hopefully, i’ll be able to acquire some of them in the future!
Thanks Sean. Great vid, again. Ivejust moved from Jakarta to Queensland and there are placyteriums EVERYWHERE! This must be the home of the placyterium, they grow on nearly every tree.
Great video, great info, with good conditions indoors i feel like if you run lights on/off 18/6 or 20/4 u wouldn’t have to water as much and its still possible to achieve similar results (save on ligh bill or if youre a busy person)
Dear Sean ..how interesting is this chapter about platyceriums..here we have the variety andinum.. this tips about the fertilizantes and water are invaluable thanks a lot
First! So excited to go on this journey with you! I don’t have any platyceriums yet, but there might be phlebodium in my future. The care is probably quite different, but I think the look is kinda similar.
Very interesting video; that guy is very talented . I’m much encouraged to start an indoor platycerium collection. I moved my one staghorn fern inside by a bright window, and it’s already looking much happier.
Had to add a follow up comment. I moved my platy’s to more light and made little fertilizer tea bags and you cannot believe how much better my babies are doing in just one month. 😮 I wanted to thank you again for this video, I learned SO much! Keep up the great work you are doing
Sean, I'd love to see an update on your own plants at your house soon, just fyi ^^ I loved the vids you did of your houseplant styling, as well as your outdoor ones (entrance way and roof garden). I keep wondering how they are all progressing!
thank you for sharing the tips, i wonder did the room have window or open-door for air circulation or they grow it within a closed-room but with fan on ?
Is that cushion moss over the spaghnum moss? I had to demount my staghorn recently because it wasn't doing well with holding water (I had it mounted against wood with spaghnum moss). The ones shown here look really nice! :) You cal tell they're getting taken care of nicely
This is not an easy question to answer as Im not sure the composition of the orchid soil mix you have at hand… but its worth getting moss too its good for so many applications
His plants are flawless. You can tell that he is really dedicated to his plants.
Yes, Taiwanese are very dedicated to their passion and hobby. They are very specialized and obsessive people but at the same time, nice about it 😀
He’s so generous to share all his tips. Amazing plants.
Yes what a lovely teacher and human being

Haha yes some are endemic to Australia, and they have so much appreciation for platyceriums there

Its completely closed room with the fan (and sometimes AC on)
@@onlyplantsthank you sean
hi, can you help me to choose a good led light for my babys platycerium ?
You’ll have to DM mr Huang for more help😌
Love the stag horns; soooo beautiful and interesting….
Yeahhh, very elusive 😀
What is the best humidity level for platycerium ya?
It depends on the species… I would say 50-80% is the sweet spot for mature platyceriums (but you gotta factor in temperature and air flow too)
thanks Sean for educational videos!
You are welcome man

I believe its just sphagnum moss used. He really gave them royalty treatment in the space that he has.
Already an expert!!!
😀😀
Wow.. i havent even seen some of these before.
❤️❤️
Can I use orchid soil mix under moss since it is readily available?
This is not an easy question to answer as Im not sure the composition of the orchid soil mix you have at hand… but its worth getting moss too its good for so many applications
Is these amazing plants good job host
😀😀
What types of plants are these?
Its closely related to ferns 😀
Thank you
Thank you too ❤️❤️
It’s possible to buy some of them ?

@@onlyplants Amazing ! are you able to sell some to me and ship to Poland ?
My job was just bringing you to meet shijak in this clip 🤣
Haha
Excellent!
Thank you 💌
This was so damn interesting! I did cringe a little when he ripped that baby propagation off the mother.
Haha I did too during filming. But apparently thats how baby stags are born lol
brilliant🌿
❤️❤️
This plant is so nice
I want to raise one too
But there is not enough space to grow new plants😭😭
Sometimes its good to watch them from afar 😀
The pup's need humidity,so it's important to keep them humid.
Yeahhh how interesting! At some point they decide they dont need all that humidity
👍👍👍👍👍
🙌🏽🙌🏽
why are they so special?
Theres so many reasons 😅 they are epiphytic ferns with gorgeous unique shaped fronds. Their morphology and biology is fascinating.
❤❤❤❤❤😊😊
