- How to delete apps on a Chromebook? In this tutorial, I show you how to uninstall apps on your Chromebook. This means you can delete or remove apps installed through the Chrome Web Store, Android Apps, & Linux apps from your Chromebook. Deleting apps from a Chromebook is a great way to clear up storage space and make your Chromebook faster. Let me know in the comments if you have any questions while you delete apps on a Chromebook.

Follow the steps below to delete apps on Chromebook:
1. Open the launcher by selecting the small dot in the bottom left of your Chromebooks screen.
2. With the launcher open you will not see a list of all the apps installed on your Chromebook. This includes Chromebook apps installed through the Chrome Web Store, Android Play Store, and Linux apps. Find the app you want to delete.
3. Right click the app you want to delete.
4. In the Menu select Uninstall.
5. Confirm that you want to uninstall the app from your Chromebook.
6. The app will then disappear from the launcher on your Chromebook and has now been deleted.

Well done after two videos show me how to do it yours actually worked I deeply regret ever buying this chrome book everything I want to do it’s different and invisible and not intuitive and I hate it
I only get pin or unpin when I tap double tap can find a way to uninstall pcsx2 from my Chromebook

What about Google apps? I don't want play tv or play books, and they take up a ton of space. why can't I uninstall them?

There is no launcher in the left bottom corner . When I click on the app and take it up to the rest over button the remove button turns red and nothing works.
Does this delete folders the app created? Or do I need a separate app to search and delete unused or empty folders?

Can't seem to double click on the TouchPad. It just keeps launching netflix (no longer able to share with nephew since the rules changed so I signed up with my own account). Works on my tablet but can't change on this acer chromebook. Can't select uninstall in Google play, either. Thoughts?
Chromebook is the worst laptop I’ve ever had in my life. Everything is needlessly complicated. You can barely find any programs that work accurately for the Chromebook.

I have tried both methods and neither works. I have checked to see if right click works, yes. But nothing happens. I have a trackpad. When you say right click do you have to click on right side of pad, which is what I am doing? What am I doing wrong? Please help. ;(

The first way does NOT work, you have to click on the clock at the bottom right of the screen, then click on settings, then click on apps, then click on manage apps then click on the app you want to uninstall, then click on uninstall.
I agree, the video wasn't helpful at all. It did not work for my granddaughters Samsung Chromebook.
I followed your advice and was able to remove the app I needed to. Thanks!
